Had an appointment on Friday Nov 29 for tires. Tire inspection showed new tires were needed. Old tires only lasted 60% of the tread life so a pronated credit was calculated and given on new tires. Staff treated me very professional and with respect. This was refreshing versus how I was treated at the Wilmington NC Firestone!! read more

Tavia is a HORRIBLE representation of the Firestone Brand. I called this store to receive a quote for Engine Tune-Up services for my Chevrolet Equinox SUV. The call was going well, until she asked for my personal address. To that question, I exercised my right to decline to provide that information, informed Tavia that I decline service at Firestone, and that I will terminate this call. Upon ending the call, Tavia called me right back. I stated, "I denied service because I am not providing my personal information to receive a general price of a service." Tavia then stated, "you are going to need to provide that information wherever you got to get your car serviced, so WHATEVER." Immediately following that comment, Tavia hung up the phone on me. Tavia's attitude and actions were absolutely HORRENDOUS. She has definitely put a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth, and I will return to Terry Labonte Chevrolet to get my car serviced, because I will not spend my money where I receive ABYSSMAL, DESPICABLE, DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Had my tire repaired from the nail. Upon completion they told me my front brakes must be replaced and quoted $900 for rotors, pads and repack the bearings. Since I recently had the car inspected, inquired, how many percents left? They told me 10%. I have someone checked the brakethis morning the brake pads still 50% left. disappointed in the service i received here. i was told my car needed new spark plugs, upon a recommendation because of the mileage of my car, and the ball joints were supposedly leaking grease. i had only come here due to having the lifetime alignment, or i would have gone somewhere else to begin with. they offered to email me a quote for the services recommended, and i never received it. when i picked my car up, i inquired about the email quote, and was told i would receive it after checking out. still never received it. i took my car to a different mechanic for a second opinion on the spark plugs and ball joints, was told the spark plugs are fine and could go another 10,000 miles. nothing wrong with the ball joints. they are icky here and trying to charge extra for unnecessary services, whether because i am a woman or they are incentivized to. lastly, i was told a screw was in my tire and needed to be replaced, they provided a terrible picture of this "screw". couldn't even see it. i will not be spending any more money here for sure, and i do not recommend this place. i will be taking my business to "Friendly tire and recapping company", who gave me the second opinion on the services recommended, were very honest and are not a corporation therefore no incentive to upsell. read more

I scheduled and oil change over the phone, and mentioned I was bringing my own oil. Two days later when I arrived to drop my car off, and re-mentioned I had brought my own oil (I purchased my own oil to save on up charges) I was informed that they would have to charge me the full price still. When I clarified on what they meant, I was told they would perform the oil change, put the oil I purchased in my car but will still charge me the price for the oil itself. After driving there when I could have been told this over the phone days prior. How can you possibly want to charge me for the product I brought, to put in my car. Unreal. read more

I was in bright and early for an oil change and tire rotation. Eric was the only employee there, and was dealing with an apparent break-in that had happened overnight. He was still very pleasant and accommodating and made sure as soon as the first tech came in that my car was serviced in time for me to get to work. Thank you Eric! Great job!! read more

I have been going to this locations for years, and I assumed because I have they would treat me with more honesty and respect, instead they tried to tip me off. I went into get a quote on breaks...they told me that all 4 brakes and all 4 Rotters need to be replaced for a whopping $800+++. That didn't sound right to me, so I got a second opinion at precision auto, they told me that my fringe breaks and rotters were perfectly fine and the back breaks needed to be replaced and the rotters can be rerouted for a total of $160 I now wiser how many thousands of dollars they have rolled me off over at this Firestone location !! Made an appointment to come in. The appointment states they will reach out to you if they cannot accomodate the time you chose. No one reached out to me so I drive there for my time. When I get there, some guy laughs at me when I say I have an appointment like I did something wrong and then makes a comment about having a VW. I wrote that I wanted to have my tires checked as I keep having the tire pressure warning light on, no matter what I do to fix/put air in my tired and I wanted to check it out. The guy was completely dismissive, interrupted me speaking about 3 times and only checked tire pressure in my tires and then said he did not know what was going on. He should of taken my tires off to check, like any other place does. He also told me to pull up in a space and I did so, an apparently that was wrong and workers in the shop laughed bc I pulled in all the way (just doing what YOU told me) I will never come back to this piss poor customer service here. Also, I got the confirmation email saying my 1pm appointment was okay at 3:00PM. What a joke of a place read more

THIS PLACE SUCKS! Not only is their customer service poor but I waited over an hour when I had an appointment for only rear brakes.. JUST to get my car LOOKED at!! I walk in the place and there is not any acknowledgement from any employee to ask me if I need help. Then after me standing there for a minute or so looking around one guy says (annoyed) can I help you? I told them I had an appointment at 11am ( it was about 1057) and they said okay...well I drop my keys and then an hour later they ask to speak with me. They say they have changed my oil and see I need new brakes. Well buddy I didn't need an oil change my appointment was for NEW BRAKES and only the REAR ones!!!!!!!!!!! Then he said it would be another hour to change the brakes. Long story short it took TWO more hours to change the brakes. I was almost in tears because I was stranded and had no other choice but to wait. It was the worst experience of my life in an auto shop. Also side note while I was there another lady had waited an hour for an oil changed left and came back because her car was smoking and she was told to wait they would take care of it she was told her oil cap was "melted" they got oil all over the engine and she needed a new cap she waited another hour for a new cap and she was told her car would still smoke for a few days because the oil on her engine would need time to burn off. WTF? I have never seen that crap happen! She also waited an additional hour for a new "cap"! Crazy!!!! THIS PLACE IS THE WORST ENOUGH SAID! read more

So I called ahead of time before coming into this Battleground Firestone to verify they had the time and the battery my car needed. They confirmed they had the battery needed and gave me a quote. Note that I made this call after calling Audi Dealership and Eurobahn - neither had time to replace the battery today. I get here, give them my keys and sit down with my young son for an hour. (Of course it was fun times trying to keep him entertained during that time.) After sitting there for an hour one of the guys came and gave me my keys back and told me they couldn't do the battery replacement because it would take too much time and they would have to remove too much stuff (battery is apparently under the seat). Are you freakin' kidding me? So the lazy technician gets to decide its too much work for him today?! I would definitely not return and not recommend this place. read more

The "Check engine light" in my Toyota Avalon had been illuminated for several months in my Toyota Avalon. I disconnected and reconnected the battery negative terminal several times, and checked the gas cap to ensure that it was properly tightened, but the illuminated "check engine light" still remained. Although the car seemed to run all right, I felt that the persistent problem required appropriate attention. Based on my previous, positive experiences at this location, I drove my car there in order to rectify the situation. I was told, after the diagnostics, that the following work was required: replacement of the oxygen sensors, replacement of the thermostat, repair of the valve cover gasket, due to oil leak, and adding an additive to the fuel tank. I accepted the estimate, and the prescribed repairs were performed. As I drove the car out of the parking lot, I could really feel the positive difference in its performance. It was going to total over $400.00. I said no thank you and left and since have passed the inspection required for license plate renewal. Just brought in my VW Routan van for replacement muffler and o2 sensor repair. Since it was in I figured I'd get an oil change as well. Technician calls suggesting several additional things, and I agree to an brake fluid flush. When I pick up car they then decide to tell me they couldnt work on the muffler or o2 sensor. So, I leave with a $170 bill for essentially an oil change and a brake fluid flush that probably wasn't needed. If technician had told me on the phone they didnt work on exhaust I would have passed on any services done. read more
