I called on Tuesday Aug. 18 and ordered a tire and made an appointment for Thursday Aug. 19. I changed my whole day around and got to my appointment only to be told that the 1st guy did not do the order. Waste of 1.5 hours of driving. The girl set me up an appointment for Monday and ordered 2 tires saying the measurements were 3/32 . I know this is fradulent because I bought the tires from you less than a year ago and 15 k miles. When I dropped off the car I let the guy know I was hoping for a quick turn around, he said probably 2 hours. I went back and he said that wheels the fleet provider requested them to check brake fluid and then it failed and he could not do anything until pending was passed. I already had passed for approval on the tires, He obviously wanted to upsell just like the extra tire fraud and could care less if it added an extra hour to my terrible multi day firestone dillingham experience. Easily one of--if not the single worst--experiences I've ever had trying to get an oil change and alignment. During the inspection, they told me both of my wiper blades needed to be replaced. The problem is that I had already replaced both wiper blades less than a week earlier. When I pointed that out, they immediately backtracked and started making excuses rather than simply admitting the mistake. I told them I wasn't looking for an explanation--I just wanted an apology. Instead, Josh, the manager, refused to apologize and kept trying to justify what happened. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way, but that never happened. Because of this experience, I will never return to Firestone. I paid $1,200 and spent two days getting four new tires installed on my vehicle at Firestone. Just 27 days later, one of my rear tires blew out on the freeway. After having the car towed, I was shocked to discover that both rear tires were worn down to the metal -- an extreme and dangerous level of wear that should never occur in less than a month, especially with brand new tires. I called the Firestone location where the service was performed at 2:00 PM on a Sunday during posted business hours, but they were inexplicably closed. I then called the Firestone at Fort Shatner to ask why, and to explain what had happened. The next day, I spoke directly with Joshua, the manager who had handled my original service. When I raised the issue, he suggested it might be due to poor alignment -- but I reminded him that I had also paid $129 for an alignment service during the same visit. He then said he needed to speak with his supervisor and that someone would follow up. The following day, Joshua called back with vague excuses, claiming the tires could have worn down that quickly. Eventually, he agreed to replace the tires at no charge. While I appreciate that the tires were replaced, this situation is extremely concerning. Whether due to gross negligence or intentional fraud, this level of failure in less than a month is not normal -- and it put my safety at serious risk. Selling old or faulty tires as new is not just bad business; it's a potentially criminal act. I'm currently waiting for an official response from Firestone corporate. So I made an appointment, and went to Palolo Auto Service, and they were able to not only change my brake pads and rotors, but also tightened my hand brake. To top it all off, it cost only a little over $1,100, as opposed to $1,450, in two-and-a-half hours! Firestone said that the hand brake would cost extra. I should have came to Palolo Auto Service from the start. Ross and his team are always so dependable, and their work production and customer service is superb. 02/05/2026 I came in here about a month ago to get my brakes changed (left a review for that visit) well again today I needed an oil change BADLY, I neglected my vehicle a little bit and the oil life went down to 0%. I went ahead called, spoke to a gentleman named Calliber, who was very helpful in the phone and answered all of my questions. He said I was able to come in to get the oil changed. Agaaaain I didn't expect this visit to be quick because I know it was a last minute appt and service. But lo and behold! They got it done in such a timely manner! They even inspected the brake job they did a month ago to make sure everything was still fine and it was! Except for the rears brakes that they've already told me I should look into getting them replaced within the next couple of months if the visit a month ago. Wow I tried to schedule an appointment online numerous times via the app and via desktop. It kept rejecting input and time until I chose 5 pm. Later received a confirmation for via email for 10 am. I saw it after 10 and arrived at 11 am. They said better to call for appointment. I just wanted to change my car battery. I was told it was possible to have a check and install before I had to leave for a 2 pm appointment. I waited until 1:15 pm and still my car was not even touched. I could not even leave I was blocked in by two cars. One was just towed in front of my car and the other the owner said his battery died. When I went to tell them I had to leave they waived me away saying they were busy that day. I raised my voice and they finally started to get the cars blocking me removed. I don't even know if my battery was even delivered. I had to leave while others who had flat tires already came after me and left hours before I did. I guess a battery check and new battery is not worth the time and effort eventhough I am a past customer who has given them business by purchasing my car batteries. I had a bad flat tire, but they didn't have what I needed in stock so I made an appt for the day my new tire would come in. Unfortunately, the tire got flatter on my way home and I had to make an emergency stop to have it fixed at Firestone's competitor. I called the next day to cancel my appt since the tire was not compatible with what they ordered for me. The service person was very nice about the whole thing. HORRIBLE experience. I thought their ratings were better and that's why I went here. In hindsight, I think I searched a different location. Anyways, please avoid this place if you can. From the time I got there, the experience was a nightmare. The service writer was anything but friendly. I was told 2 hours max that turned into almost 4 hours. All 4 of my rims are now damaged, all scratched up as if they couldn't have cared less about taking care of my property. Tires weren't even at least wiped down. Price was what I would've paid to not have my rims damaged. Trust me, you are better off ANYWHERE else. So disappointed in you Firestone! read more

Considering they were short handed.( that could have been the reason the first couple times for the mix up) But all went well !! Fantastic service .Just need some patience with business' nowadays . On Friday, 2/2/24 I noticed that my TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light came on & I decided to put air in it after work. However, during work I realized that I forgot something in my car & saw that my rear passenger tire looked borderline flat. I went to add air in my tire & the PSI was @ 5.5, when it should be 32 PSI, so I filled it up to 33 PSI. I asked my colleagues for suggestions on tire shops, since the Lex Brodies by our office is no longer there. I emailed Pono Tires for a quote but hours had passed by & they didn't reply (they replied back yesterday), so I decided to call & they told me that they didn't have my tires in stock. I remembered that a colleague of mine had to patch her tire at Firestone & I decided to give them a call (since it was still very close to my office). The distance to my office is very important to me --otherwise I think I would've just kept driving & adding air to it. Anyway I called & spoke with the associate, gave him my tire size & he confirmed that they had it in stock. I asked if I could go there to get my tires replaced & mind you, it was already 2PM. So I was really praying to the Gods he'd say yes & he did! I'm so so glad that they don't close at 4PM like other shops. I also asked if I needed to replace all 4 tires or if I could get away with just replacing 2 & he said he'd be able to check for me when I arrive. I thought that was very nice because then I knew they weren't trying to take advantage & make the highest sale on me. I went on the Firestone website to do some research on the price point of the tires (so I could kind of gauge what I was looking to spend) & to see if there was any coupons/specials. I ended up finding a $50 off coupon (*if I replaced all four tires) & printed it out. Before I left the office, our warehouse guy took a look at my tires & right away he noticed that the tire I had just put air in, had a freaking nail in it (I swear I hate parking inside our office driveway, so irraz)! He told me that I should definitely replace the 2 tires in the front, see if they could plug the tire with the nail & get an alignment. When I arrived, I drove around, saw a technician & asked where I could park. He told me to just park right in front of the office. As I entered the office, I was greeted by Flo & he immediately knew that I was the one that called because of my car. He thought I wasn't going to come in since I had arrived closer to 2:45PM but he was still able to take me (Thank God)! We went out to take a look at my tires to see what he could recommend & then we went back into the office to get my information to get me in the system (since this was my first time getting serviced there) & I told him about the $50 off coupon (he reminded me I could only use it if I replaced all four), then he went ahead & showed me the price difference between replacing all 4 tires or just the 2. He told me that we'd be able to plug the tire & I asked if I should replace the rear tires but he said that they still looked good. I made the decision to just replace the 2 front tires, plug the rear & get an alignment. Again I was very pleased that he didn't try & push me to replace all four & was very honest about that. He mentioned that it would take about 1.5hrs & if I wanted to, I could wait in the lobby. Which was very kind & it was like he read my mind because I didn't want to go back to work --because I would either have to call an uber or have one of my colleagues pick me up & drop me back off (they're doing construction on the road so it's really junk and didn't want to burden them). Since McDonalds was less than 50ft. away (1min walk) I decided to just grab a bite & wait over there. While I was eating I received a call from the technician & he mentioned that they check on other items while servicing my vehicle & recommended to flush/put brake fluid. So I agreed. I was using the free McDonalds wifi & catching up on some work for 1.5hrs+ LOL & decided to head back to Firestone to wait inside the lobby until my car was ready. While I was sitting in the lobby (I was the only one at the time), Flo was kind enough to acknowledge my presence & engaged in conversation with me so I wasn't just idly sitting there. He mentioned the other services that Firestone provided & it was perfect because I have been avoiding taking my car in for service since Lex Brodies closed, so at least I have a new place to service the car near my office. I thought the pricing was fair and the customer service was on point. So I'll definitely be returning back to get my car serviced. First time taking my jeep here. We usually get our car serviced at the dealerahip where we had originally purchased our car at. Once our coverage/package deal to service our car with them was done, it just seemed like everything went downhill, especially customer service. Decided to take my jeep to firestone since I live right down the road and they seem to always have business there. I only wanted an oil change. They did a free inspection (thank you) and asked if I wanted to get other things done since the mechanic found things that should be cleaned (cabin & air filter). Didnt felt pressured to have that service done, and explained to me why it should be cleaned. I understood and trusted them since I felt my jeep really needed an air filter clean since I know it hasnt been touched for awhile. Anyways, customer service was great, car was taken in once I got done checking in, car did seem better when picked up. Also wasnt pressured to do other things to my car. Customer service is really the key to knowing who cares about their job because I know they wont just do a quickie to my car. I got my front two tires here because it seemed the cheapest. I also asked to ensure my car was up to par and the guy I worked with mentioned getting a new car battery over the phone as well as brake fluid change. he said to get a new battery because it seemed weak.. I said no to the battery change but yes to the brake fluid change. I was going to get a car battery at Costco since its the most cost efficient there which I did and then I went to auto zone to check my battery status to see if I really needed to change it. Autozone tested it and they said my battery was fine at 100%. so I returned the battery at Costco and now it makes me think if I really needed a brake fluid change or if he was just trying to up the sale. not really a good look to be honest. probably will never come back here......... read more

I had a bad A/C compressor for my Hyundai. They told me that it would cost $150 just to look at it. So I paid that and they told me it was $2500 to repair and it will take 2 weeks. I wanted 2nd opinion so I decided to take it to Mike's AC & Auto Repair they were able to fix it in 3 hours and I paid $1400. These guys at Firestone are not AC repair professionals. Booked an appointment to get brakes done and was quoted $450. When dropping the car off they took back their original quote and said they would not know an estimated cost until they look at the car (which they would charge us $10 to do)...after pushing the guy to give me and estimate instead of the original $450 we were quoted he stated it could be up to $800 and that they don't even have the parts needed so they were going to charge us the $10 just to tell us they can't do the job. They were fully aware of the make and model of the car ahead of time and should have turned down the appointment if they did not have the parts let alone try and charge us just to confirm they don't have the parts. Fast service and good location. This place was recommended by a tire shop in Kalihi that doesn't offer alignments. I had both of my vehicles serviced here for alignments, and both times I was in and out of there in about an hour. They prefer appointments and honor your valuable time by being prompt and courteous. I'd recommend them highly for alignments. The parking can be a bit tight as this location does share it's spaces with several restaurants, a vet clinic, the Golden Arches, and some bars. I really enjoyed this location. I desperately needed new tires and my husband recommended we give this place a call. Called and spoke to Riley who was very helpful and informative. He gave me options which of course everyone loves for comparison. He said the sooner I come down the better so I headed down right after we got off the phone. When I got down there another gentleman helped me but I told him what I was told by Riley and helped me right away. Byron is not customer minded. I called and asked about the status of an appointment and he hung up on me. I wasn't even mad or anything. I literally just asked if I had an appointment on Wednesday and he said, "You booked an appointment online?" I said, "Yes" and then he hung up. I thought maybe that it got disconnected by accident so I called again and he picked up the phone and hung up on me. I will never go to this Firestone branch again the next one is just another 5 minutes away and I will gladly drive the extra five minutes to avoid this branch. I got 4 new tires here earlier. They ordered the wrong size, but eventually got it right. This time I needed oil change, new brake pads, tire rotation, transmission fluid. Be aware that if you make an appointment online it will stay in "processing" mode, even after an email acknowledging selected date/time.. When you call to confirm the phone isn't answered and you can't leave a call back number. If you try to Chat online, it takes you to a blank page. Although they inspected these things for free and were more than willing to do the service here, they were not pushy when I told them I would simply take it back to Sam's Club for nail in the tire and I also have my battery inspected at sams as is it free service at Sams if you bought those items there. Another benefit to have your car serviced at this location is that there is a McDonald's less than a 1 minute walk away so you could have lunch or a snack while waiting for your car to be finished. Not sure why anyone would go here after seeing how they operate the place. In April I had a new battery installed at the Kaneohe location. Now 7 months later the battery won't hold a charge. I went to this location because I live in town. After waiting in line for 25 min during which time someone called and the service advisor spent 10 min on the phone with them (faster to speak with someone if you call rather than physically wait in line) I finally got to speak with someone. He had a tech immediately check the battery. Battery was bad. So apparently they want to charge a $30 labor charge to replace the battery AND could take 3 hours for them to do so. The whole process getting to this point was excruciating. I've already been here 90 min. I've had the same problem with batteries purchased at Lex Brodie's and they don't charge a labor fee. I've purchased tires at Lex Brodie's and they don't even charge for nail puncture repairs Unbelievably bad service. I'd recommend going elsewhere. No aloha spirit here. Very sad read more

Very sketch. Replaced four specialty tires. First rears, then fronts, 2 months apart because of tire availability issues. Firestone tried to sell me an alignment for the rears, even though I was coming back for the fronts. I declined. I had the 4way alignment done when I replaced the fronts. Both "before" measurements were nothing alike. Of the 14 measurements, only 1 was the same. Either the first guy did it wrong, the second guy did it wrong, or one or both measurements were totally made up. If there is that much variability over a 2 month period, no point doing it at all. When I replaced the rears, I asked for a TPMS test because of intermittent alerts (I did have a nail in the front). Firestone said the FL was faulty. I said i would replace it when I came back to replace the fronts because they would already have to take the tire off then. Save time and effort. When I came back, they added an "anti-leak kit" on top of replacing the sensor. Not knowing better, I said fine. Then they said they checked again, and now the RR sensor was faulty also, despite NO alerts from any of the 4 tires in the intervening 2 months. I declined to have them replace any sensors. No trust already. When I left, the TPMS sensor light on the dash was suddenly ablaze, as I suspected it would be. At home, I ran a self TPMS test to find the alert codes. It showed all four tires were now alerting. LF was also showing low battery, not "difficulty communicating to the receiver", as I was told. Looked up how to replace the sensors, there's no "anti-leak" kit involved in addition to replacing the sensors themselves. 2 stars because my wheels were actually installed and haven't fallen off yet. Overselling unnecessary alignment, selling extra fictional parts, not doing the testing correctly, not clearing the TPMS alerts when replacing tires, somehow triggering 4 tire TPMS alerts that weren't there when I came in out of spite...enough with these jokers. read more

I changed both inner tie rods to save me money. They didnt have a problem with diy'ers. I was met by Wryleigh, either Service Manager or Store Manager. He was friendly and courteous. Good job.
