I have a lifetime alignment with Firestone. Great deal. They have a new alignment machine at this location and the printouts are in color which really helps. Friendly service. Got me in and out quick. Just had to ask them for my free tire rotation which should have been included since I have Firestone tires. Drove back to have that done but fortunately it didnt take long. This is a great Firestone location and you can go to NE Mall while you wait. Highly recommend. Just wish they still took cash. read more

Firestone is a ripoff I stopped at the pioneer location in Arlington Tx to Ck my air conditioner it was cool but not cold. after two hours the guy said looks like we found the problem your hose was leaking and you need Freon after over 2 hrs. I asked how much he said 364 if I use a firestone card. Once I got to the freeway it's back blowing hot again I called him back he said oh no we cannot Ck your car today (Saturday) bring it Monday or Tuesday so I went back after a hr wait he said you need a new compressor and that will be approximately 1097 more. I paid for the ac test you said it was the hose. The compressor is fine it blows it's not locked up. I took it to another shop to confirm the compressor replacement. beware of Firestone read more

I had a great experience at Firestone. Everyone was friendly and professional. My tire had a leak, and it was fixed in a timely manner.

I have been working with Firestone auto shops for over 4 years to solve any maintenance issues I had because I genuinely believed in their work. This particular location, will never have my support or money again unless I get my money back and they actually fix the mess they made because although they got my car running again after a breakdown on the side of the road, they clearly caused a major leak (I did not have prior to bringing my car in) after they fixed my alternator, some fluid has leaked under my car. They did not inform me of any leaks before fixing my car, something I would have clearly said yes to fixing if it was going to create more issues. Something I can't understand how they figure could be my fault at all when it wasn't leaking before! Check this, when I got the car back I noticed it wasn't fixed and the store rep noticed the same thing at the time and told me they will take a look at it again later that day while I sat at the shop. When I returned at the time they suggested, They pulled the car around the shop where I couldn't see it and then gave it back to me an hour or so later saying nothing was wrong. And again any other issues would be something I'd have to fix with them another time. After that I headed to another Firestone location for help about the situation and to set an appointment to fix my car because I'm trying get back to work. I ended up running into a Firestone store manger that I spoke to the day I dropped off my car. I explained my situation and he told me that I might have to just pay for the parts and not the labor for this kind of situation (a situation THEY caused). Like I can not begin to explain how upset I was, and rightfully so! all I can say now is I'm not going back there. read more

I do not recommend this fire stone, I went there today at 5:30 for a simple flat repair. The guy said he could have me done before 7 o'clock mind you a simple flat repair. I sat there for an hour and a half and 7 o'clock a lady comes to me and tells me that she cannot take my tire off at 7 o'clock. A simple flat patch or repair does not require the tire to be Removed.. Luckily I went somewhere else that was still open to have the service completed for me. I just think it's ridiculous how you have me sit there for an hour and a half I need to tell me you can't take my tire off, when in fact doesn't even need to be taken off. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD Firestone took thousands of dollars in maintenance without ever resolving any issue for years. On my last visit, dropped almost $1500 dollars in repairs and my car didn't even make it to my house without breaking down again. When I tried to call and ask about what happened, all they said was "you can always tow it and pay for a diagnostic ". They have made sure to take every single penny I had and leave me in serious debt without ever fixing my car. I tried to put a claim and only thing they solved was to send me to talk to the same person that told me "to tow my car and pay for a diagnostic " in spite of the clearly bad practices they do and he confessed. I'm not one of those people who loves to go to a mechanic / tire shop / etc. (The Dead Kennedy's song - Trust Your Mechanic - rings in my ear every time I'm in any auto repair shop) But fate shined down a happy little nail into my tire this weekend so I had to go. Thankfully the nail was in the tread (usually fixable, and in this case it was) so I was considering just getting it repaired. **Now let me tell you a little secret, Discount Tire Co. will fix these issues for free so I don't recommend going here for a quick nail fix (+$20).** But, I really needed to start looking for some new tires (almost 50,000 miles) so under the encouragement of my girlfriend I went to this location. And I was really happy that I did. The staff was very calm and friendly (at least the staff I had to deal with). They explained the options clearly, and didn't try to push anything extra on me (I really hate that about auto repair locations). It wasn't crazy cheap so I recommend looking for a coupon or waiting for their specials (about $500 for 4 new tires), but as far as my overall feelings of this place, lets just say that I'll definitely consider them in the future. read more

Never go to this location. I went there last week (3/16/2023) and my car was relatively fine, now it won't even start. I took it in for an oil change, balance and rotation, alignment, and to have the steering rack and pinion looked at because the turning was a little rough out of the start. They told me the rack and pinion was fine and just a problem with the power steering pump and would be an easy fix. I come to pick it up later that same day, and the first thing I notice is my driver side door handle just comes loosely open, doesn't open the door anymore. That's never happened the entire 14 years I've had the car so I go back in to ask about it and the guy looks at me and lies directly to my face "it was like that already." No it wasn't, never has been. I tell him this and he says "uhhhh that's what one of the techs said." OK so you're both liars. Got it. Next when I get in the car and start it, the engine overheating light immediately comes on. That also was not a thing when I dropped it off. Well these guys already lied to me so I call their corporate office driving very slowly on the way home. Got an email last Friday that I've responded to later that day, now no word since. And now, much to my exasperation my car won't even start. They've somehow effectively disabled my car within a week of me taking it there. Never use this location, incompetence does not even begin to describe what they are, not to mention that their lying about something as minor as a door handle which they could have said "hey, we messed that up, we'll pay for you to take it to a body shop" says volumes about their business. I started going to Firestone after, let's just say a bad experience involving a nearby tire place and a retread being sold to me, and would always take my car here when I lived in the area. I have been in Dallas for two years now, going to a Firestone there--except the last two visits, when I sought to get my alignment done, they fed me this garbage of needing a camber bolt replaced (and potentially the other ones "while I would be at it") IN ADDITION to telling me that in order to complete the alignment, they would have to drill some holes and place bolts... excuse me? My car is 3 years old, and I take extremely good care of it-- you want to jury-rig my alignment? not to mention they never topped my fluids off the last 3 oil changes or these two botched alignment encounters (and taking several hours, but that's for another review!) The Firestone here since I was in high school (now halfway through medical school) has always been staffed by courteous, clean, knowledgeable individuals who I feel have never tried to lead me wrong! They had my car done in 30 minutes, no questions, concerns, weird proposals, nada. Fluids topped off, too. I especially appreciate that they don't treat me any differently or patronizingly simply because I'm a young person. Props and thanks to Tech Aaron Rakes, who took the time to walk to my car afterwards and answer a few questions and concerns I had regarding my bumper, which just a few days earlier a large stake in the empty lot behind my sister's new house had managed to "dislocate" that I was unable to reattach completely flush. Because of the close proximity of this location to my home, I have come to this Firestone several times. I purchased 4 special order tires, wipers, and inspections. I bought the wipers a couple of mouths ago before I purchased the tires. When I noticed my new wipers were making noises I mentioned it to them when I went back for the tires to check. They said nothing was wrong with them even though they add marks on my window. So I went back for another issue regarding my tires and I mentioned the wipers again. Went in here for a simple tire rotation and balance, I dropped it off around noon and they told me probably around three is when it would be done and they told me they would call me to let me know. First off I showed back up around 3 and there my truck was sitting in the "finished" area. Apon close inspection I noticed my tires has not been rotated and so I assumed they had not been balanced yet either. As I walk inside and am greeted by asking if I'm picking up he proceeds to tell me that my tires didn't need balanced so he was just going to charge for the rotation. I told him they didn't rotate my tires and he was shocked and went to get his tech. The tech then proceeded to tell me that he didn't want to rotate my tires because they didn't need it. I've only had them for a month and put about 10000 miles on them and saw the wear starting to happen so I argued that they needed rotated and that's what I wanted. After realizing he was trying to charge me for doing absolutely no work he said he would pull it in so I went outside to wait. An hour later a different tech comes to me and says somehow taking a lug nut off they broke a stud, which doesn't really happen anyways I told them to fix it and they better call me when it's done and I got a ride home. They fixed it but I will never go back, there is no easier job then rotating tires and they can't even do that right. Went to have my alignment and oil change done. After a few days my car started leaking something. I took it in thinking it might be oil from the recent work they did. After they took a look at it they said it was the windshield wiper fluid reservior and quoted me over $400 for my BMW. I told them Thanks but I will wait on repairing it. I picked it up and while driving it home my Low Coolant light came on, please keep in mind this is immediately after I picked it up from Firestone. I then called my buddy who has his own shop and he told me to bring it to him and he will take a look. My buddy told me the winshield wiper fluid and the coolant are similar in color and if they didn't take off the skid plate there is no way to know for sure. I dropped it off this morning and within an 1hr my buddy found the issue. He called me in disbelief of what I told him about Firestone's assessment. He sent me pictures and a video of the cause of the leak. It in fact was the plastic drain screw at the bottom of the radiator. He said he saved me over a $1000 dollars by simply giving the drain screw a half turn. My car is no longer leaking any fliud, he topped off the radiator and the low coolant light went off. I wish I was able to post videos on this review because even someone with no mechanical background can see the cause of the leak if they wouldve taken 5mins to take the skip plate off like my buddy told me. The Firestone off Harwood in Bedford beats this location in price, customer service, and time! I purchased all 4 tires less than 2 years ago. The 2 back tires were replaced at a pro-rated cost less than a year ago. It was time for the two front ones to be replaced. I put about 19k miles on them. When I had the back two replaced I specifically asked them to rotate and align my tires. Anyway...I walk into this location with my husband and the guy is watching tv. He looks at us, doesn't greet us, and finally walks over to ask what we need. Before even looking at my tires he says they are no longer under warranty because I didn't have them rotated or aligned (according to some notes in his computer). This was complete BS. He walked outside to our car and started blaming us for bad maintenance...etc Then he said he would give us a quote for two new tires, which we would put on the back and he would have to move the back ones to the front (i.e. more labor charges). Instead we went to the Firestone 5 minutes down the rode. 2 brand new tires at a pro-rated cost of $25 each. Excellent customer service. Just under an hour. I highly recommend the Harwood location near 121 if you have a terrible experience here like I did. read more

I had an appointment, decided to drop my vehicle off for them the evening before...an hour later I get a call stating my tires were installed and my alignment checked.
