Andy is always transparent while being helpful. He talks you through everything as well as what you may need to be aware of in the future if you're unable to take care of your situation in that moment. Well this was the 3rd Jiffy Lube we stopped at.... Well let's just say that CSR Cody and General Manager Cameron were freaking life savers. We arrived and of course needed an inspection, but the GM stepped in to handle it. We were so grateful that we had such a wonderful experience with chatting with these gentleman. Skip this place. Went to do my safety inspection last year and the young guy offered to replace my cabin filter for me which i paid for. Well one year later, I come to my safety inspection at another service shop and they tell me that whoever put my cabin filter put it completely wrong! They put the wrong oil drain plug in my Fiat 500. This is why I never get my oil changed right before a road trip--my engine would have been completely drained of oil once I got out of town and I would have been stuck on the side of the road in the heat waiting for a tow, with a ruined engine. As it was, the contents of my newly changed oil leaked out all over our garage floor. Our cat got it on him and now we may need to take him to the vet because he ingested some. I'm afraid for his well-being. All of this could have been avoided with competent employees who check over the work done before releasing a vehicle. I won't be returning to this location ever again. Please be aware of this Jiffy Lube on Precinct road. See all the bad reviews before going here. I went in for a simple oil change and when my car was returned to me, a 6 inch section of the material on my steering wheel had been scraped off. I did notice when the mechanic who sat in my car to pull it up looked so big in my car. I guess he didn't bother to move the seat back, instead he just let the steering wheel scape over his lap. I brought my steering wheel to their attention and they just said they would review their cameras. Of course they said it didn't happen there. But before I went in my steering wheel was perfect. So be aware they definitely will not take good care of your car. Was this a good value? No, now I don't even trust they provided me with a good oil change after reading the rest of the reviews. read more

Did my State Inspection here today, but would go back for any service whatsoever. While there for about 40mins I heard them deal with several customers. Love the way they talk everything out and explain details. All the customers seemed very happy with their service. My personal experience was excellent so not sure about anyone leaving a neg review. I had used this Jiffy Lube for many years for state inspection and sometimes oil changes but have been changing my own oil because it only takes 15-20 minutes at home and it's 1/3 the cost; but I always got a good honest inspection. I have begun to hear stories about different issues people have with going here. I'll let you find that in the reviews. Anyway, last week I took my older truck in to get inspected. It's at the age now where I only need the safety part (no emissions). The kid there didn't like a couple of things about the truck but I did my research and all things are legal and safe. He had this smug smirk on his face and said I passed except for the window tint. I have legal 25% tint on the side windows. I know because I bought the tint and did it myself years ago. Each year it passed. I asked him if he tested with the light meter and he says he did but when I asked him to show me he refused. Failed inspection. $7 no big deal. Today, I was driving to get inspected at a different company and got stopped by a Hurst cop for reg sticker out of date (due to inspection). I asked him about the window and the cop knew it was legal and said they failed me on purpose. I got inspected at a different place up the road and no problems with anything including the tint. Never going back to this Jiffy lube! read more

I come here because I have a fleet vehicle and my employer pays for service at Jiffy Lube. This is the one closest to home. I'm going to have to find another Jiffy Lube in another town. There is nothing jiffy about this place. I'm used to the constant upsell of filters, wiper blades and rotations but it bugs me when they really press people that don't understand cars. But that's their business model. There are plenty of people working here and why it takes so lone to get an oil change confuses me. Last time I was here it took 1:20 to get an like change and rotation and I had no wait. I watched them puddle around as though my time doesn't matter. Today it's been 45 minutes so far for an oil change and they are just now pulling my car out into the parking lot to rotate tires. That'll take another 25-30 minutes. Please change the name of this place to Lube. You are NOT Jiffy in any way. I see why I can usually drive up and see empty bays on a sunny Saturday. Folks are at the other shops that are much more efficient, such as the place I take my wife's car. They are efficient and courteous. I think I'll just go there and turn in a receipt for reimbursement. I don't have an hour and a half for an oil change. But you obviously don't care. I'm the only one in the bay and 4 people standing around watching one guy change a tire. (Insert you're own joke here) It's 2:23 and I'm just now checking out after being here since 1:21 and they are almost finished. Another hour plus gone. read more

Failed to properly tighten the oil drain plug on our car after getting an oil change here. Two days later, we discovered an oil spill on our garage floor and our cat came out from under the car covered in oil. I went here because the excellent Jiffy Lube down the road on Bedford-Euless Road was out of our oil filter that day. I will not be returning to this Jiffy Lube again. Edit: Somehow, they used an incorrect drain plug when finishing the oil change which was causing the leak. read more

We have used this location for oil changes on multiple cars we own for years. Here recently the service has been very poor. We took our vehicle in for an oil change and they forgot to replace the screws on the skid plate. This caused it to fall and break once on the freeway right after picking up. Side note we now realize this happened 6 months ago at our precious oil change only we replaced it that time out of pocket because we didn't realize it was Jiffy Lube. This time around we took it the next day and were assured they would buy us a new one and replace it. We where told to talk to Lucas the manager and he ordered the part that was a month and half ago and we are still here no part and told to contact Chris Newman who has no phone number only and email that he never responds to because we have emailed twice over the week ago. We will not be taking any of our cars there again and I have also told my family I referred to not go back. read more

I was at this Jiffy Lube for a state inspection and I saw the guy damage my windshield wiper on purpose and was threatened to buy a new wiper from them or they would fail my vehicle inspection. I was also told my air filter was dirty and need to change as a part of my inspection even though my air filter was not dirty and it is not a part the vehicle inspection. There were a couple of punk kids who were trying to upsell things. When I refused to pay them for those extra things they failed my inspection. They had real bad attitude and no respect for customer. I would never trust this place, would never trust them to work on my vehicle ever again. Be warned! Stay away from this predatory place and go somewhere else. I have filed a complained with DPS and will file a BBB complaint as well. read more

I've always had good service at jiffy lube and this visit did not disappoint. From the street, I could see what looked to be the whole staff, out near the road holding signs and trying to get customers in, when I pulled up they all ran over to assist me. I definitely needed an oil change but they also informed me how dirty my cabin filter was and replaced it for me. Matt advised I get my tires rotated but didn't push me into buying things I didn't want or couldn't afford. Within 15 minutes I was out! The only thing that was a little irritating is my "oil change" notification kept going off the rest of the day. When I called to ask why it was still going off, they said someone could have forgotten to reset the notification and sure enough when I brought it back the next day they quickly reset it for me. Side note: I always forget that jiffy lube vacuums the car for you when you visit, which is so thoughtful! read more

She guided me inside and let me know where the refreshments and restrooms are. Super polite. I have had phenomenal service from this Jiffy Lube since I first brought my 2014 Toyota Camry SE in for a full synthetic oil change a month ago. I now came in this afternoon for rear brake pads and rotors with the same phenomenal service. Matt Thompson the manager is patient and listens to what I have to say rather than talking over me like other garages. His staff also has great manners when speaking to me the customer saying yes sir or no sir. Since moving to the Hurst, TX area I now will not take me vehicle any place else. BEWARE!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. They are very unethical, lying to you to sell extra unnecessary items and taking advantage of people that don't know any better. I went in for a simple inspection for my 2012 Toyota Prius. The guy comes back and tells me I failed inspection because my windshield wipers are all ripped up and tries to get me to replace them all for $30 each! I know my wipers were kind of old but not ripped, but luckily I had an extra set in the trunk so they couldn't pull that one over on me. Then he tells me I had a license plate lightbulb burned out, and tried to sell me an overpriced bulb. I thought this sounded like a scam because I overheard him tell the lady before me the same thing that her light was out too. I knew I could get one way cheaper across the street at wal mart so I turned that down too. And guess what, both my license plate lights are working just fine so that was another complete lie. Also he walks over with my engine air filter and my cabin air filter that he had to unfasten my glove box to get to. Now this really makes me angry as they have NO business going through my glovebox or checking my filters as this is not even a part of the state inspection. Obviously I did not buy overpriced filters from them either as i can get them cheaper at wal mart across the street or any auto store. But guess what, i rechecked those filters too when i left and they weren't even that bad. This Jiffy Lube is a total rip off, con artist business. I went to this location at approx 10:45am this morning to get my car inspected. I was told the inspector didn't start work until noon (although the bay for inspections was wide open). I ran some errands and showed back up at 3:59pm. They had one person in a bay (not the inspections bay) and told me they were closing and wouldn't inspect my car. Although I will say...all of the bays were open. I feel the very least they could have done was to close all of the bays. It would have been nice to have them inspect my car since I was already there and there was only the one other client. I will never go to this place again. Too bad as I've been going there for quite a long time. If I could give them less than one star, I would. read more

They claimed my battery tested bad and offered a new battery, and to rotate my tires. I don't drive much anymore and had JUST gotten new tires. Heed the warnings of all the other reviews regarding failed inspections for made up reasons. If you want to waste your time, throw away your money, and be treated with a complete lack of respect, this is the place for you. The inspection service is exceptionally rude and incompetent. They are clearly unaware of the Texas state laws on inspections, which allow vehicles year model 2001 and newer to have one (1) non-continuous monitor to be Not Ready and still pass the test. Basic oil change and air filter replacement, then and out the door quickly. 2 days later "Check Engine" light. Following an inconvenient and costly visit to my mechanic, he reconnected the EVAP hose that the Jiffy Lube "technician" was kind enough to leave disconnected after I was upsold the air filter. Yes they are friendly, however they are overpriced and aren't considerate of your personal information. The room was full of people and the guy asks for your info in front of EVERYBODY. The room is small and you can't really whisper over the counter. First and Last name isn't a big deal, but when combined with DOB, Home ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, and EMAIL for the entire lobby to easily hear is an uncomfortable and unnecessary risk to take. I would much rather fill out a form and hand it to them instead of telling everyone my entire identity while they slowly type it into the computer and repeat your info in case the entire world didn't already hear it. I would prefer not to take chances that the random people in the room will not try anything funny with my info. Both me and another vehicle pulled in for inspections. They drove to the side and went into the office. I pulled around to the inspection bay like I always do. As I was waiting outside my vehicle a guy finally showed up and asked me to back into a parking space as they have someone ahead of me; they guy that walked inside. Stripped a lugnut during tire rotation. Told me they couldn't fix it and that I would need to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Made me pay full price after this. I just wasted two additional hours at another auto repair place, turns out this mistake will require upwards of 4 hours of labor at the dealership. Unreal. I went in for my oil change and was greeted with friendly, prompt staff. The waiting area was clean with fresh coffee and water. The staff made sure I downloaded coupons in order to shave as much off the price that they could- along with adding a bonus of 20% off my next visit. This was one of the worst car inspection experiences I've ever had. Most places if you don't pass for a computer error (or really any error) you don't pay. Then you pay when you pass. I swing in to get my inspection, as the court house is right down the street. Thought it would be convenient. WRONG. I'm leaving this review because I should've checked yelp before giving them my business. The KID inspects my car, moves my seat all the way back. My car failed because of a computer error. The kid walks in, tossed the paper on the counter... I kid you not.... says "you failed" and walked away!!! He didn't tell me why or what to do to fix it! He just left! Then dealing with the very nice girl at the front desk, he put in the computer system that it failed for emissions. What? Ok. So the general manager gets involved. I explain to him I just had my oil changed at Kwik Kar and they reset my check engine light there. He said to drive it 100 miles then come back. I check my paperwork from Kwik Kar and guess what? I had driven 201 miles exactly since they reset it. This guy had NO CLUE what the heck he was talking about. And this Jiffy Lube is way out of my way for my normal commute. They said I don't have to pay to get it inspected again and to come back today.... uh yeah right. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere like Kwik Kar for oil changes and inspections. SMH! If you're looking for customer service, this place is a good place to go to. Their prices are a little more expensive than regular, and their oil changes are pricey as well, but you're getting a free carwash, all you can drink Starbucks Coffee (while in the waiting area), and you're also be receiving friendly services!
