I got oil change aweek ago. Brought it back cause of oil leak. They said they fixed it. Today engine started knocking pulled dipstick they said wasn't there and what little oil in it looked to be old oil. So know I have to do my own oil change and hope it's not a ruined engine. They suck at oil changes. Never taken it back but if ruined my lawyer will see them. read more

They weee the only store available and open that had a tire for my car that j needed imidiately, with our hesitation or unwillingness, they quickly got me a tire and i was able to get to work. I took my car to Firestone complete auto care as a loyal customer, this establishment has put tires on every vehicle my husband and I have owned. All I needed was brakes on my car, I show up early for my appointment, unknowingly I get signed up for a complete auto inspection. The tech has my car for an hour and half, one of the guys calls me up to the register and gives me a print out for "recommended work" for $3,287.91. They recommended work to be done on my car for things that don't even need to be done ie: $127 oil change/air filter (I am 1,200 miles shy of needing an oil change), $165 for "ignition parts" (by the way this was replaced on my vehicle 8 months ago by the dealership!), $153.98 "hoses", $99 coolant/antifreeze (this was done at the beginning of the summer), $1383.96 for shocks and struts!?!?!? the list goes on and on. Is this because I am a female and you are trying to up sell me! I asked them to give me a print out and I would need to come back after I speak to my husband because I couldn't imagine that these things actually needed to be done on a very well maintained vehicle. I made a formal complaint to the corporate store regarding my experience over the weekend... well Jeremy the store manager at Firestone calls me a few hours later looking for a fight, he starts the conversation out very aggressively, I tried to tell my side of the story but he interrupts me stating he already talked to his staff and backs them up, I asked why did he even call me then if he wasn't going to hear me out. LONG story short, I end up in tears and hang up on the guy. A bad place for tire replacement, new set of tires totally out of valance, vibrating really bad on hwy

Horribly understaffed, I have tried 3 times this week to get a nail removed from my tire, which is a 30 minute procedure. They wanted to schedule me next week. Yeah, great idea since I'm losing air pressure every 2 days, good thinking Firestone. I have bought 8 tires at this location with road hazard. Firestone suggested going to Tires Plus down the street cause they are affiliated....that place was even worse. I'll probably go to another competitor upon my next $1000 puchase of tires. read more

If I could give them a no star review I would. Please be careful if you take your car here to get it fixed for anything. I went in to get my car fixed for the a/c and they called me back later saying that they wanted to do this and that which had nothing to do with the a/c. To make a long story short. I went in to get my car. They told me they had put enfrion on my car. But that due to the day not being so hot that the guy could not get al the hot air out and that I might need to bring it back so they can adjust that. So I left and when I started driving I noticed that the a/c was not blowing any cold air at all. So I called them right away and she told me to bring in the car in the morning the next day. Mind you she has told me that they put in 2 lb of enfrion. So I go the next day and I talk to the manager and I explained to him what happen and in my mind it just doesn't make any sense how someone can say the a/c isn't cold because the day isn't hot enough. So they checked the car and he tells me it's because the compressor was not working. Now I asked him so the 176.00 that we paid yesterday was that even necessary and he said it was because the compressor can't turn on if the car doesn't have enfrion. Then proceeded to tell me it was going to be around 700.00 to fix the compressor with our warranty and around 1,000.00 with warranty and 1,300.00 to fix the compressor and something about sucking out the moister so that the air would be the max cold. But when I went to to check my car somewhere else they told me that you can not put enfrion on a a/c with the compressor working and that my car can only hold 1.3 of enfrion and that they didn't understand how it could say on the paper that they put 2.0 on. So I toke my car somewhere where they are honest and are not scamming you for your money. read more

0 stars ! Went in today with car because I slid into curb. Said it would cost around $1000 because they had to order whole assembly of parts for just one part. Also they said my year of my car made things different so it had to be special ordered from a dealership of my type of car and parts wouldn't come until the next day. Had my car towed to where my parents get there work done and it was around $179 parts and labor included. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

My catalytic converter was stolen while it was in the care of this locations. I was told it was " and emissions leak that could be easily fixed". Um no it isn't the Catalytic converter was cut out and stolen. It has been 14 days and I have done nothing but jump through loops trying to get it replaced. The last phone call to area manager Don Coulson I made was sent straight to voicemail. Preston is a very argumentative, dismissive and disrespectful person and Don Coulson his boss is just as bad. I will never take my car to another Firestone again for the rest of my life. After 14 years and living in three states using Firestone I am just done. This Firestone, Preston and Nick rule the World of car care!! Having been to another Firestone (whose location will not be mentioned) with my vehicle with squeaky brakes (they almost gave a couple in a crosswalk on the Plaza a heart attack thinking I could not stop) and the other location "could not find anything wrong....) ....I was sent by the dealer I purchased the car from......they are also very awesome......to the Firestone on Noland Road. I was more than hesitant after my lovely 2 experiences at the other location; but, was assured they would find the issue and repair it. Went in and was greeted by Preston.....a very personable and friendly manager?? I don't really know what his title is......he took a ride with me .....we did not have to leave the parking lot before I put on the brakes, he heard the loud squeak and actually told me it was in the rear right brake area. They told me it would take a little while......there was coffee......I was all good. The automotive specialist, that is what I am calling Nick, took it for a drive, told me the only way they could stop the annoying sound was new rear drums......replaced.....told me the problem was resolved......I am starting a fan club for these two men!! This location had done a fairly good job with tires and oil changes BUT don't take it in for anything more than that! Took my daughters car in because the radiator was smoking. Set up an appointment for 8:00 a.m. on a Friday. Found out she needed a new radiator (which we figured, but hey, let professionals diagnose that), her battery was bad, Jiffy Lube (who had changed her oil two weeks ago) had spilled oil all over the engine (it was stinking to high heaven every time she drove it) and the valve cover gasket was leaking. So replaced the radiator, battery, valve cover gasket and degreased the engine. The mechanic spent all day on it, obviously was in a hurry to get the heck out of there by 5:00 p.m. and did a shoddy job. When we left, the radiator was loose (didn't tighten the bolts), the air intake on the air filter box was missing, the pcv valve was busted (which I had been told was probably leaking but was never told it was broken on the phone) and the kicker, the throttle valve cable clip had been broken off, so the cable was just laying across the engine. Which if you didn't know, will ruin your transmission if you drive it without the throttle valve cable! And when we took it back the following Monday (we didn't drive it all weekend), one of the techs tried to say it was the cruise control cable...oh yeah? Why isn't it shifting properly? Needless to say, they fixed everything, but had to wait for parts. I am writing this on Tuesday...a week later, and we just got it back this afternoon. They not only had to fix our vehicle...except the pcv valve, they said they told me so I said I would pay, but the rest...nuh-uh, no way...we also had to have a rental car. I will say the manager and front staff did everything they could to accommodate us. The communication was poor...I think they drew straws to see who would call me every day for an update, or they figured I would call them and be really angry. But their mechanic being in a hurry on a Friday night and creating such a cluster, well, let's just say I hope he lost his job and I'm not going back...oh, and the hose on the air filter box?
