Appointments do not mean anything here. If your expectation is to wait for hours, then this is the business for you. It doesn't work for a business person and a company car. I don't have a whole day to give them for a tire rotation. I waited an hour and a half past appointment time and requested my car back. I wouldn't have been angry however, the staff had a nice conversation about me which they apparently didn't care if I heard. Terrible customer service. Updating after Lee's response. Lee, this is my second review as I went to you other location as well. You left a similar response to my review of that location, as you seem to do for all the negative reviews you are getting. I have given Firestone 4 chances and you have a problem. I have gotten my fleet service to approve other vendors. Went to the Firestone and made an appointment for an inspection. Few hours later a guy called and gave me a lecture that "as per the website" customers are expected to call to make appointments. Said he was the manager. They don't really want your business. read more

I had made an appointment half a week prior. it was the day for my appointment and they told me a walk in was before me with a line. I was told I had to wait literal hours for something that takes around 30 minutes when I scegualed an appointment. read more

We got our front breaks and rotors changed here. A few months after we kept noticing a noise when braking. We took it back and we're told nothing was wrong. Fast forward six months we took it to a different shop. We were told the brakes on the front needed replaced because the rotors were never replaced. We got charged for new rotors at Firestone. When I called Firestone I was told they warrant passed and this didn't happen. Be very wary. The brakes always made noises and the job never seemed like it was done correctly. read more

Went in for tires and tried to get info on discounts i was eligible for and Taylor followed me to my vehicle screaming that i should be happy with the Fu**ing money I saved and to show some fu**ing appreciation. I bought 4 new tires here for a Ford SUV. The prices were comparable with other tire providers in the area and the service was great. I didn't have to wait very long to have the tires installed and the waiting area was clean and not busy. Two of my old tires were still serviceable so I took them home and tried to re-sell them on Craigslist. That was a disaster and I regretted trying to sell anything on Craigslist before and this time I was reminded why. Long story short I was unable to sell them so I took them back to Firestone to have them recycled. Even though it had been months since I got my new tires Firestone management still took my old tires and did not charge a fee (Even though I was willing to pay one just to get them off my hands). So very disappointed in Firestone quoted 189 for a headlight bulb replacement. I have a Fiat which parts are ridiculously priced as I have had to pay BUT the quoted price wasn't sitting right so called O Rileys for price on part 15 dollars called back to Firestone today to see why cost so high 174 in labor??? Extremely disappointed. I came in here for new tires but on my drive in my check engine light came on. When i arrived we discussed the tires and asked if they can do an oil change. When I settled my bill I was told the oil change couldn't be performed because the oil plug was rotted. They told me they did replace the oil filter. I was told to go to Honda and let them know what was going on. A week later I am at Honda and explained to my sales guy what happened. He said they would take a look. He also said I'm the third Honda owner who has been in today that has taken their car to Firestone in Liberty and there has been some issues. He said they would closely take a look at my car. Sure enough the oil filter that they replaced is from Jiffy Lube and there was no rot. The screw came off with ease. I don't like being lied to and I don't like paying for a service I didn't get. I am certain the gentleman that settled my bill at Firestone had no clue that my oil filter was never changed. If that is the case then there is a real problem with communication and organization with this facility. I'm giving three stars because I am happy with my tires. read more

Big shout out to this team for helping me this week! I'm from out of town and was driving through when my axel broke. Not only was this team able to immediately get to work on diagnosing the issue, with a bay-full of cars, but they welcomed my dog into the shop and treated him great as well! Rod, at the front desk, was helpful in getting me a quote and offered me a discount; he's also a navy veteran so he shared some cool stories with me during my wait. Mat, the technician, was super efficient with his work and got me out of there in under two hours! Really can't thank this team enough for saving my day, and at a reasonable cost! read more

75,000 miles on my Subaru. Had an inspection. They said in needed rear brakes & rotors at a cost of $580. Went down the street to ToyTech and had the rotors turned and new pads for less than half the cost. #Profit vs.customer service read more

I wish I could confidently say this was a good experience. Our first visit, everything seemed fine. We came to find out things were in fact not fine. We were in the area when our tire exploded due to a nail in it. Came in on a spare. Got a new tire put on for a good price and went about our day(oct15). Not even a month later, we notice the new tire is defective. Very defective. The dreaded bubbles. Serious hazard that is caused either by collision(which, obviously didn't happen) or by faulty manufacturing. Now I can't really blame the place that sells the tire for the tire being bad, but their behaviour afterwards was awful. Apparently, there were a bunch of shadow charges that they didn't charge us for without our knowledge. They used that as an excuse not to help us. Because they'd already "helped us enough". AND said "what do you want now" the second we walked in (this was the manager and we'd only been there once before) Now I don't know what you think help is, but it certainly isn't having a faulty tire that could spiral into DEATH when it explodes. Sorry, but no. I have a lot more to say regarding this, but we all get the point I think. They'll be nice just to rope you in, and then refuse to help when their faulty product could result in serious harm to their customers. DO NOT buy tires from here, because you could be getting yourself hurt; and they will not help you. read more

Had to have my van towed here because my tire went flat on the side of the road. Normally, I would take it to Costco but they were closer. They called us the next day and said the tire wasn't able to be fixed. Charged us full price (over $200) for a new one. My husband is smart and told them that we would be keeping the old tire. Took the "old" tire to Costco and they repaired it, put it back in the rim, and back on my van for under $20. Will never go there again. They were completely dishonest. read more

Most important, they take care of me when disaster strikes - case in point: I rolled into my driveway to leave for work only to find a tire totally flat with a nail through it. I was a little hesitant to use Firestone. A friend was warning me and I saw bad reviews on this site. But, the reviews were from a year ago and I needed a good price on an alignment. So, I decided to pray about it and go anyways. The Firestone in Liberty did a thorough inspection of my suspension and found that they wouldn't be able to perform the alignment because I had some major suspension problems which needed to be fixed first. I know a little bit about cars and was able to see with my own eyes that what they were talking about was a legitimate concern. I did, however, get two new tires put on for the low, low price of $35/tire, and the guy helping me even gave me a discount on the total price. As far as the suspension problems, he discounted even more money on getting that fixed at a future date. I feel that I received more than a fair deal. They were friendly, honest, and kind during my whole time there. I don't know about other Firestones, but this one is recommended, in my opinion. I never once felt they were trying to get away with something or be dishonest. I am very pleased with my experience there. :) read more

After paying for new tires and new brakes, they tried to convince us that we needed $1000 of work done to replace the drive shaft. We got a second opinion only to be told that the car was fine and didn't need any further work done. Stay far away from this place. read more

My husband had no choice but to use Firestone after several other bad experiences, because they were the only shop open on a weekend. The repairs were expensive, so we were convinced to open a credit card in order to "save" on our repairs. Credit First National Association is the worst credit card service company, and the Firestone employees explained that they had no control over the account and its administration, but they were pretty damn exuberant to sell me the card. Now that I have paid off the balance, two exorbitant fees and a lot of headaches later, I have learned my lesson. The promotional 'savings' weren't worth it, and neither was the service. While driving home from a long Thanksgiving road trip, we blew a tire nearby and they were the only place open on a Sunday morning. We waited until they opened then went in and asked if they could help us, since we didn't have an appointment but just wanted to get home and still had 500 miles to go. They couldn't repair our tire but looked at it right away, showed us the tear and were able to get us back on the road with a new tire within about a half hour. Rod was very kind and helpful and explained the situation and options for our tire. We're so appreciative that they helped us out of a bind and didn't drag our already long day of driving out any longer than it needed to be. read more

I took my granddaughter's car to this Firestone for it's annual safety inspection. They said it needed new rear loser control arm bushings and gave me a quote of $620.00. After declining the work, I took it to the dealer where my daughter is the service adviser and discovered that Firestone's prices were a total of $200.00 higher than the dealer's regular price. The bushings (exact same brand and part #) had a dealer cost of 14.99 and a list of 29.99 which gives the repair shop a 100% markup. Firestone wanted to charge 41.99 each for them, an even higher markup! Their labor price was $130 more than the dealer, and the alignment was $40 more than the dealer. After being told that they would "fail sometime in the future, so you need to replace them now" and seeing their inflated prices, I advise that you look elsewhere for maintenance and tires as I will be doing!
