Finally got a call back. Was told new management was taking over. That's good I was offered to be taken care of but honestly I will go where I've been going before due to being cheaper even without coupons. But thanks I just got another response from the owner I was called back from the new manager. I was offered a free oil change. I really wouldn't feel comfortable going back . I am going to go back where I feel comfortable and don't need coupons. I was told he would do better than coupons but it was higher. I paid over $90 where I normally go is in Bartlett they are a lot cheaper around $70 high mileage oil etc . I've been going there years. I just was being lazy about driving and needed to get to work. I was having a stressful morning and they were both able to get me in and out in a timely manner. Their service was top tier. 2024 - DO NOT go here for any services as far as an alignment.. I thought this location would've had a new staff group after seeing the older reviews... WRONG. Came here for a 4 wheel alignment since they were close to me ( I reside in Bartlett ).. and they absolutely did the worst job possible. First time I got the car back , they got done with it in 1 hour which was already a red flag. So it drove terrible. Went underneath the next day and noticed the locking nuts on my rear control arms weren't even tightened back down.... Never got a refund. Highly do not recommend this location. They call them selves complete auto care. However, they fail to live up to the expectations .. a few months ago I had my vehicle towed to this location for a diagnostics and a repair 72 hours later I received a phone call saying that they were not able to repair the vehicle because there were too many codes. Then I was recommended me take the vehicle to a dealership to have them actually look at it after charging me $350 just for a diagnostics 0 out of 10 would not recommend Firestone has went down drastically over the last 20 years, the customer service was lackluster.. things just aren't what they used to be if you're looking for a complete auto care I definitely would not choose Firestone ever. read more

My wife broke down and our vehicle was towed here. Almost $600 of work was done that was not approved, nor was it on the initial estimate. We were not called or consulted at all, the work was simply performed. Even at pick up we were not told. My wife paid and I got the paid invoice in email and noticed. Additionally, the manager at this location lied several times and took credit for the entire invoice. It took 16 days to get the work done and I only found out about the delay when I called to find out what was taking so long. The manager claimed he had tried to call us, which is funny because I have no record on my cell of that. Nor was there any voicemail left. Talking with him he lied several times and claimed my wife authorized the repairs but I've seen her phone, the only time she talked to them was prior to them sending the invoice. Additionally, he tried claiming my wife asked him to swap out the water pump, which is bull considering my wife doesn't even know what a water pump does which means that work was most likely done and was not needed. Reporting this to corporate I was told that I need to wait two days for this rude, lying manager to call me before they will escalate it to his supervisor which means a full week will pass before there's any hope of getting this resolved. 20 years I've been doing business and tens of thousands of dollars with Firestone. I will never return to a Firestone. **EDIT January 16th, 2025** So, you see below were Firestone IMMEDIATELY responds with a super helpful email address? Yeah, they returned a few emails after a replied and gave them all the information they were looking for and then completely ghosted me. It's been more than a week now and there has been zero follow through or additional information. They now won't even return emails. Do yourself a favor, even Firestone corporate doesn't care about you, so somewhere else. read more

They tried to SCAM me today - Later told 'FUCK YOU' by an employee (RICHARD) who followed us out of the store... I just bought a new vehicle and had it inspected by a mechanic a few days ago. I knew the vehicle needed an alignment and oil change, so I brought it in. I got a voicemail a few hours later saying I needed new 2 new front tires and new rear rotors and brake pads - it would be $1,300. I called back about 5 minutes after receiving the VM and was told they quoted me wrong, I needed a whole new set of tires - they were all apparently the wrong size, and it would be $1,900 total. They tried pressuring me, saying they cannot align the car without the correctly sized tires. I knew the tires were the correct size, as I'd just had my vehicle inspected, so I told them I only wanted the oil change. They told me they already performed the oil change and the vehicle was ready for pick-up. I drove over there immediately and was told it would be a couple minutes to get my car. Literally 30 MINUTES later, the car was ready. I went to pay for the oil change and inspection fee, and saw they were still charging me for the alignment they told me they could not do. I said this to the man at the desk, Richard, so he reluctantly removed the charge. My girlfriend was with me when I went in, so when they brought out the vehicle, she checked the tire sizes and the maker's (Volkswagen's) website. Every tire was the correct size. She came back in and told Richard this, who said that one of the rear tires was incorrect. She went back out and double-checked, and came back in to confirm every tire is the correct size. Richard said, "We need to suggest you have them all replaced before we can do any sort of alignment." Very frustrated at this point, I paid them, gave him the finger and told him to 'go fuck himself." Richard got right up from behind the desk and followed us out the door and yelled, "Fuck you dude. I was just trying to help and you flipped me the bird. You're an asshole." We drove away and filed a complaint with corporate. I could have handled things better on my end, but I was clearly being scammed and lied to. Richard knew my tires were correct, which is why his story changed twice when confronted. Unfortunately, I can't trust any Firestone location in the future. Incredibly disappointed by their lack of integrity and cannot recommend anyone give this company their business. read more

This has to be the worst Firestone in the world. Brought my car in on Saturday had a appointment a 9:00 my car was still not ready by 5:00pm. The manager did not apologize just seems to not care about the customers. Carlos is the only one that talked like he had common sense. I have never gotten an correct alignment since I've been going there. I only go there because I bought a life time alignment for my car. I have to take it to Nissan to fix what they break. Why bothered to make an appointment if they are going to not honor it. I've taken my car there another time they had a lady working there, who told me I needed all kind of work done to my car ( struts and shocks) I told her to dive my car back around front, took it to Nissan all I needed was to have my tires balanced. They will never be successful doing business like this. Just sad.....Not a happy customer. read more

I've been a loyal customer for over 10yrs but this location is TERRIBLE. I needed 2 new tires. The mechanics fixed one but broke my wheel lock key and damaged the wheel lock on the other. My car sat in the shop for a few days. I eventually had to get my car out of their shop and drive on a bad tire to the nearest BMW dealership to determine the right key to order. Turned out the damage they caused to the wheel lock wouldn't allow a new key to fit. I had to try other DIY means to remove the wheel locks myself. Finally, they charged me more than the original work order I received when I returned car. They claimed they "deleted" the original work order but I still have the emailed copy. I asked for a rotation on the original work order but apparently the manger removed it after I disputed the charges. The manager, Marc, was arrogant and rude. Other employees I interacted with, Jacob and Alex, were polite and courteous. read more

I called for a quote on a new tire which I got over the phone. He entered my information into their system so when I came in I didn't have to repeat everything a second time. He informed me that there wasn't a wait so I quickly came over. When I walked in I just gave him my name, he looked at my tire and off my car went to get worked on. The worse part is that I was told by the manager, Andrew that it would be 1 1/2-2hrs. Every time I went and check on my car they would say soon. The manager is who I am angry with not the mechanics that have been working their tails off to get it fixed for me. I have been to at least three local Firestone shops around Memphis, and this one is consistently a bad experience. I actually witnessed the manager get in to a shouting argument with a customer today while I was there, waiting just shy of three hours for an alignment and tire balance. Why even bother booking appointments? This location is under-staffed; a store issue should not mean a problem and extended wait time for customers. I will not take any of my vehicles in to this location again. read more

Made appointment at Firestone 4035 Austin Peay Hwy Memphis, TN for 12 pm; vehicle still not ready one hour past promised time; requested several times when vehicle would be ready received offensively impolite response. Firestone called and said it would be ready at 4:30 pm; 5:00 and still waiting. Called at 5:30 and said truck was ready. I arrived there at 6pm; they must have saved my truck for last because besides for the lady that just arrived with an oil leak I was the only one there. I pulled into Firestone to see if someone could do this for me and an extremely nice young man took a few minutes to help me out - I wish I had gotten his name! If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is absolutely the worst place to get new tires, balance and alignment. They bold face lied to me about what they did to my car and honestly, they put me at significant risk because of their negligence. I hit a pot hole on Hwy 14 going 50 miles an hour...my tire immediately started to deflate. I was able to make it to Firestone (barely). I spoke with Andrew, who assured me they would take care of everything. He recommended 2 new front tires, no mentioned of needing back tires as well. He indicated they would mount new tires, balance and check alignment. After I returned to the store, I was told my car needed an alignment; they showed me the picture and I agreed. When I finally got in my car, an hour later, I immediately knew something was terribly wrong. The front end felt unstable, it was loud and handled terribly. I called the store within an hour of leaving (I thought maybe I just needed to drive it). The gentleman that answered was very rude and dismissive. When I asked if they saw any damage to my car, he said "we didn't check for any damage, we just mounted tires". I explained that I told Andrew I had hit a pothole and this time he said, "we don't check for damage". After telling him, "there is something very wrong with this car - it is driving worse than it was when I dropped it off", he just blew me off with a flippant comment. I literally cried because of the way I was treated/dismissed.Fast forward - for a week I've driven my car only when necessary, having to be very careful and drive slow because of the unstable handling. Today, I took it to another Firestone in Memphis. They called me and were absolutely appalled at what they found...2 bent rims, one on the front and one on the back. The one in the front, with the new tire is already leaking as a result of the bent rim; the tire pressure dropped from 32 to 20. I need two new back tires as well. There is NO WAY the tires were balanced with bent rims. I have pictures - it's impossible to miss the bent rims. Here's the other kicker - if I would have been told I needed 4 new tires and 2 new rims, I would have purchased exactly what was recommended. As a result, they lost out on revenue (over $1000) and put a customer at risk for personal injury and further damage to their vehicle. I wouldn't even tell my worst enemy to go to this location. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I used to come in for my regular oil changes. Some of my family discouraged me from going here because they had issues. But I had not had issues so I kept going. NOT ANYMORE! Last time I came in for an oil change ( at 1 o'clock) they told me they were busy and it would be about 6:30 before it would be done. Ok fine. I dropped it off and planned for a ride back. At 6:30 I hadn't heard from them that it was ready. THEY CLOSE AT 7! So I called. He said they hadn't gotten to it. So I asked if they would get to it before they close. The man simply said "no". I'm sorry, when were they going to call to tell me this? Were they even going to call at all? I asked why they hadn't called to inform me of this and the man said he didn't know that it wasn't going to get done because he got there later in the work day. Yet he knew when I spoke to him. He didn't put me on hold to ask anyone the info. They had not even touched my car when I picked it up. It was exactly where I left it. I walked in and asked for the key to my jeep and he handed it to me WITHOUT A WORD! He didn't greet me or apologize. Absolutely unprofessional and rude! Will never be back. read more
