Since my father owns an auto shop back up North, I always come in with a set of very specific instructions, especially when it comes to my oil changes. Each one of my cars has a specific set of instructions I want followed because each one has its own little finicky things. Lucas first, don't top off fluids except washer fluid, only use manual tools and not drills, etc. the guys who work here have ALWAYS abided by my instructions without hesitation. They don't ever make me feel like a nuisance or burden and are always very polite and professional. Today was no different. Nick worked on my Mercedes to get my oil change done and then Derek worked on my new tire installation. Between the pleasant conversations, not ever trying to rip me off because I'm a female, and their overall politeness and ability to work on my cars the way I want them to, I will continue coming back year after year and bringing all of my cars here ranging from the more normal ones to the imports. They do have a pretty high turnover rate of workers, so just as I get to know one set of them, a new set arrives, but every single set of guys has been very helpful and respectful. I would absolutely recommend this shop, ESPECIALLY to females, because they won't try to rip you off like most shops around here will try to do just because they think you don't know what you're talking about and are an easy target. I also always bring in my own oil and filters (and even my own tires) and they have no issues using MY equipment, which many shops in the area will refuse to do. If you're hesitant, don't be. If you're also a female and are worried about someone trying to pull a fast one on you, trust me this shop won't even try it.

Germantown Parkway in Cordova, TN for routine maintenance. During that visit, the location performed: * Coolant exchange * Fuel system cleaner service * Full synthetic oil change I trusted this location to properly service my vehicle. However, less than two weeks later, on January 1, 2026, my check engine light came on. After having the vehicle inspected, I was informed that my engine had suffered severe damage related to low/no coolant in the vehicle. I then had my vehicle evaluated by Homer Skelton Hyundai and Genesis of Olive Branch, where I was told the engine only had 25 PSI compression in cylinder 1 when it should have been around 170 PSI. The dealership stated the engine now requires a rebuild or replacement at a cost of approximately $7,596.44. Since discovering the issue, I have repeatedly attempted to contact the Cordova Take 5 location for assistance and accountability. Unfortunately, I have been constantly given the runaround. I was eventually told that the district manager, Zach, was supposed to handle the matter, yet employees stated they could not provide me with a direct phone number or email address for him. Paytin, the manager at the location, has essentially been left to act as the messenger whenever I call, but despite multiple conversations and promises of follow-up, I still have not received any meaningful resolution or communication from ownership or management. I also contacted Take 5 corporate directly, only to be told this Cordova location is a franchise and there is "nothing they can do" except submit tickets to the franchise owner. As of today, I still have not been contacted by the franchise owner or anyone capable of resolving this situation. Meanwhile: * I still do not have my vehicle. * I have been left without reliable transportation. * I've had to file a claim through my insurance company in hopes they can help cover damages. * I am now facing thousands of dollars in engine repairs shortly after a coolant-related service was performed. This has been an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of accountability, communication, urgency, and customer care after such a major engine failure has been unacceptable. I would strongly encourage others to think carefully before allowing this location to service their vehicle.

The service included tire…read morerotation, but the mechanic said that all 20 of my lug nuts were stripped, so he couldn't rotate the tires. They are of course not all stripped, how ridiculous (none seem to be). The only tire that I saw them even check was the rear passenger tire. And now it loses about 10psi of air every day, so I have to air it up several times a week until I fix whatever they messed up there. So now I still have to go somewhere else and pay someone who knows how to rotate tires (after I've already paid Meineke) AND I have to see what damage they've done to my tire. Hopefully that won't cost any more or have me need to replace my tire. I brought my own air filter and new wiper blades and asked if they could also switch those out while they're at it. They charged a little extra for this, and that would be fair. However, the mechanic said that the new blades would not fit. I returned them, thinking I must have made a mistake, but no, they were the correct ones for my car. So I bought them again and changed them myself, and it was so easy I didn't even need a YouTube video to refer to. So after waiting an hour the oil is changed, but other than that my car is in worse shape than when I brought it in. The mechanic couldn't even do the most basic things. Ineptitude is what I ended up paying for. If you want honesty, know-how, reliability, and fairness, avoid this establishment.

Steve's Tire and Auto recently provided an alignment for my car subcontracted by Caliber Collision…read more Unfortunately, two days after receiving my "aligned" and "ready" vehicle, I nearly had a blowout on the freeway due to faulty service. My friends noticed a flapping sound underneath the car because a piece had not been secured. The Firestone shop in Jackson found my tires were not aligned and were wearing so severely because of this they could have exploded on Interstate 40. I had to pay for a full realignment and two new tires in Jackson, to the tune of $900+. I had only had these tires for 18 months, installed in 2024 at Costco. I have not received any reimbursement from Caliber or from Steve's after this faulty work could have cost my friends and I our lives.

While there I asked her to have them balanced and rotated. I filled it up and told her to drop it off. Later that morning she got a call from Christopher M. Saying the car was ready. She went to pick it up and they had done nothing to the car. C. M. Told her the tires ( which only had about 36k on them) were worn / damaged to the point of that it was no use to rotate them. And they were so unsafe they could not even have the leaking tire ( the original problem repaired. For back ground, I am myself a 30 + year mechanic. I keep my cars in pretty good shape. Especially the one my loved ones drive daily. Instead Chris chose to put my wife back out on the street with a potentially dangerous condition in her vehicle. Basically, because she would not commit to new tires til i looked at them. I just got home and jacked the car and rotated the rear tire.
