I've been coming here for years for both our vehicles oil changes and don't plan on going anywhere else. My car only takes synthetic oil which always costs a little more, and there is nowhere else in town I would rather go to have it changed than Firestone. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. There is a seated waiting area inside where you can sit while your vehicle is being worked on. Don't expect to come here for an oil change and have it happen the same day. Many days they are completely booked up which is why they recommend scheduling an appointment in advance. Once there, I have never had to wait too long and they have always given me a realistic time frame of how long it would take. From the waiting room you are able to see them working on your vehicle which helps to pass the time away. I highly recommend them! read more

I have taken my 2015 MB in for two oil changes and a brake fluid flush and have had no issues with their service. My only gripe is their waiting area. The furniture in the waiting area is absolutely filthy. I don't think anyone has ever cleaned the furniture which is covered in dirt, grime, and filth. Time to buy some new chairs and coffee table! If the waiting area looks this bad, what goes on in the service area? read more

Chronically understaffed and they don't adhere to appointment schedules. I've observed this on multiple occasions during the past two years. Futher, they recently wanted to charge me for a wheel rebalance due to the loss of wheel weights they installed less than 100 miles ago. Amazing service and lifesavers. We stayed in Missoula for one night on a road trip from NY to WA. At 5:30AM on Sunday (our last day of driving) we realized someone had hit our parked car in the hotel lot at some point the night before. There was a pretty gnarly dent around the drivers side wheel and we weren't sure if it was safe to drive, let alone for 8 more hours. Unsure what to do, we filed a report with the local PD and waited for Firestone to open so they could check it out. They were so accommodating and helpful from the moment we walked in. We explained our situation and despite having a booked out day of appointments, they said they would try to squeeze us in for a full safety inspection and wheel alignment. Luckily the damage was mostly cosmetic so they cleared us to go. We were so grateful for their kindness, especially after driving for 3 days straight and being in an unfamiliar town. read more

Bought two brand new tires elsewhere, I only needed them out on. They're mud tires for a ford f150, they are large but last time I did this, I paid $75 total at big brand. I walked in and what looked to be a teenager quoted me $150, he said "it's because your tires are big". Lame. Yeah I know they're big but all you're doing is putting them on. I came in for a second opinion after being told by a dealership that several items of work HAD to be completed. I was very happy with how they walked me through the issues and gave me options to keep my vehicle safe on the road. I was able to get some new tires and alignment which was done pretty quickly. This place has to be the most dishonest and sketchy shop I have come across. Most of the guys seem okay, but you can tell that their manager is always watching over their shoulders to make sure that they push a ton of unnecessary work as well as try to ram their credit card down your throat to pay for said work. They get you in the door with seemingly cheaper prices so they can use shady shop sales tactics to add on ridiculously priced, unneeded add ons. If you don't know much about auto mechanics and are looking for an honest place to get any additional work done, please get a second opinion from someone else before going forward with it. Or better yet, don't go to this place at all. If they got more honest management i might be willing to give this place another try. read more

TLDR; Won't repair flats, will just sell you a new tire. This is easily the shadiest tireshop you can visit. I had a flat that I needed fixed and I was told they could not fix it because it was too close to a previous patch on the tire that wasn't sealed properly. What the f**k is that nonsense? First and foremost, that tire has never seen repair work previously. And secondly, who can't fix a tire? They tried to sell me a new tire and refused to put back on my old "damaged" flat since it was too dangerous to do so. After I get my donut on I speed away from there and have Walmart take care of it. Took no more than 15 minutes. Keep away from here at all costs. A basic flat repair is apparently not something they can do without trying to earn themselves a higher pay check. read more

The worst Firestone ever! Do not go here. Asked for 4 new tires that would work well in winter in Missoula on my Subaru. Also asked for filter changes and oil change to prep for the winter. I got useless tires that can't even get me up a small hill in town. Unacceptable. They did not replace my filters and their front desk crew was completely disorganized. I ultimately did my own filters so I guess that's where the one star comes from. They did not call before doing any work- which I asked so I knew what tires I would be getting and what cost. They did not clean up. I had to scrub my wheels to get rid of the gunk. I am so floored by this experience. I will NEVER go back. Skip this Firestone. It's a joke. read more

Had a flat tire while driving past Missoula on a Sunday afternoon. We first tried Walmart as their website said the automotive center was open until 6 pm. We got there at 3 and were told they were closing in 20 minutes and wouldn't help us. They wouldn't even look at the tire. So I called Firestone and Kevin answered. He said they were fully booked but if we could come by they would take a look at it and see if they could help. So we pumped up the tire and limped into Firestone a little after 4 pm. We met Damien at the desk and he took a look at the tire and said they would fix it. A little more than an hour later we were on the road again. A huge thanks to Kevin and Damien and the crew at the Missoula Firestone! They stayed past closing to help us. They are very professional and courteous If I lived in Missoula I would be a regular customer. read more

I'm not sure where to start! Vehicle 1 took my truck in for new tires never calibrated my tire pressure sensor to the correct tire front to back left to right. Had a slow leak. Took it back in finally calibrated my pressure sensor to the correct tire. Then tried to hit me With a 1200.00 brake job when I was just in 2 months earlier getting tires and said nothing about my brakes. Zero service! Car 2 had new tires put on. Got those rotated the first time and my wife drove it home and tires where out of balance and 1 tire had 8 more psi then the other 3. Good thing they chkd the air pressure for my wife on the rotation. Car 3 bead leak been in 3 times. Sent my son in to get a rotation. Called to make an appt and said they dont do appt just walk in. He walked in today and told him 1.5hrs b4 they could get to it. Then told him they wouldn't rotate the tire because of wear that nobody said anything about the 3 times it had been in before! Shit service ,shit service manager discriminatory towards my son cuz hes a kid. Unreal!!! Well to finish my review, I went back yesterday 3/11/20 to talk with the manager. He proceeded to tell me they dont red flag things for you unless you ask. So basically (will sell you anything but we only service it when you ask and we only mention problems if you ask us to look). That's the policy. When I called someone answered right away, gave me an appointment for the next day and was super nice when I called back to verify the time. They took great care of my car and were right on time with the original estimate. My alignment was way off and it's driving better than ever. I had a screw in my tire and took it in thinking it would be a quick fix. WRONG!!! They had a new guy try to fix it and made it worse. The manager had to redo it and when I left there was still a small leak. They said it would leak 5 pounds a day. They didn't have a plug big enough to fix it. Here I am driving from Washington to Indiana and they are sending me on my way With a leaky tire. They didn't charge me and they did put the spare on, but I still needed to get it fix. I had an appointment for 4:30, never even saw my car go into the shop until 5:15. Mechanics were standing around, etc. The red haired lady that works at this location drives me absolutely crazy. She is always rude and unprofessional, and doesn't have a clue what's going on ever. I've always given my business to Firestone but definitely thinking of going somewhere else. Firestone has gone above and beyond to help me and my family twice in the last few months. After a long day of moving we unfortunately found a flat tire that firestone was able to fix, at no charge, first thing in the morning on a Sunday! Today I made it home from my 45 minute daily commute to a low tire. I got there about a half hour before closing but was told that they were understaffed and had some big projects going on. After I told them about my situation, someone who had just gotten off his shift offered to look at my tire and see what he could do. They found the leak and fixed it at no charge. I would recommend this establishment to anyone and can never thank them enough. read more

Watch out for this shop, told me my upper and lower ball joints on both sides of my vehicle were bad and needed replaced at around $1500.00 in repairs. I went to two other shops and they only found one bad upper ball Joint, repairs were done by an ASE certified mechanics at less than 1/4 of the cost with a warranty at another shop. On Wednesday February 25th, I took my 96 dodge avenger to the shop to get a new axle replaced due to my old one breaking. When I took it down there the manager stated it would be about 2 hrs to do the repair and gave the cost of repair. The axle was $150.00 by its self but the night before I called around to check the pricing of axles for my car through Napa auto parts and it was only $50.00. I understand they have to make money on the parts so most shops charge 20% more on parts but this was 3 times more plus labor. I kinda had no choice because I'm from California and I was supposed to be in Seattle Washington later that day so I had them do the repair. Well 12 rolls around and my car hasn't been touched yet. So I ask a counter personal about my cat and he said he would find out. 10 minutes later he comes back out and said the mechanic who was supposed to do the work never showed up and that they would get someone on it right away. The manager never walked outside in to the shop to follow up on cars unless it needed something else which they get commission on all repairs and tire sales. While I'm sitting there for another hour plus the manager is just inside his office while phones are ringing off the hook and he is doing nothing about it. A few mechanics even came in to answer phones. Finally 2 rolls around and my car is finally fixed. They never offered to take anything off due to their mistake and I wasn't about to stick around and argue with them cause I had to be in Seattle Washington. I will never go back to that shop again even for a tire rotation or an oil change. read more

Had a coupon for a $20 oil change, which I told the guy when Imade the appt. Also when I came in I told the guy the coupon was on the seat. When I went to pick up the car, they said it would be $65. WHOA. When I inquired about the coupon, he proceeded to explain that there are 4 levels of oil change (who knew) and I had gotten the most expensive one. Really? So we went back & forth & the very nice fellow agreed to honor the coupon. That's classy. The only reason I dont give a 5 star is they said it would be done in an hour, and it was more like 2. In fairness, apparently Honda makes it very complicated to reset the oil change reminder light. Still. The other nice thing about this place is they are ALWAYS open. This place is shady I took my car in 2 weeks ago for a leaky tire they said it was a staple and they fixed it I noticed the same tire was low again so brought it back. They told me this time the same tire has 2 pieces of metal in it and I need to buy 4 new tires. I asked them to put the spare on it because I have 4 tires at home. They then told me there was no spare tire and I could drive on the leaky tire. I drove home opened the compartment that has the spare in it and it was right there! I also asked him how he got the tire off the first time without seeing the spare since the wheels have locked lugs and that attachment is with the spare? read more

I do lots of business with Firestone, and purchase tires from them. Yesterday I needed them to check my tire because the sensor was telling me I had a leak. Turns out that the nail they found in the tire was too close to the whitewall to repair, and I needed another new set of 4 tires- not even a year since my last complete set. I was devastated. Tyler called me personally to explain the situation, and with the prompting of Chris, one of the lead shop mechanics, they devised a way to get me a 25% discount on the new set, just because they all felt so sympathetic to my plight and streak of bad luck. I called them again this morning to thank them for their efforts, especially since they did all this for me on an extremely busy day, within a short period of time, so I could get back on the road. Dropped off my truck in the hopes of being able to get snow tires out on it last minute. They promised they would make every effort to accommodate and accommodate they did. They were able to get me in in. Few hours (I was able to drop it off and leave) and when I came back only sat around for an hour since they said I was next. Which I didn't mind doing cause I didn't have an appointment and they were completely booked. When it came time to checkout, the manager gave me a FREE LIFETIME Alignment Coverage Package for waiting!!! Woo-Hoo! Not to mention I already was able to take part in the $100 off promotion since I bought 4 new tires. What got even sweeter, one of the other reps had quoted me a cheaper price for a different set of tires by the same brand, but I was able to get the cheaper price for the better tires since they had confused me and my husband which tires were getting out on. All in All paid a little over $600 for 4 top of the line Snow Tires for my truck... thank you Firestone! We will definitely be back for your amazing assistance and good service! read more
