I went in to Firestone to get an oil change. I set an 8am appointment. This was the place that Hertz Rental Car sent me to with paperwork to give them. After having the car for over two hours (for a scheduled oil change) they said they were having issues with billing Hertz. I was in a week before with the same rental to get wipers replaced, with no appointment. The manager had me in and out in 30 minutes. Not sure why Mike and Tyler were having such an issue with the billing as I had paperwork from Hertz to give them along with a scheduled appointment this time. Mike was nice enough but Tyler was very rude, not just to me but with many customers he helped while I was waiting hours. After 4.5 hours I asked how much longer it would be, they kept blaming Hertz and their system which I would maybe believe if the manager the week before at the same store had not gotten me in and out in 30 minutes. Horrible customer service and very inconsiderate of my time. I will never do business with Firestone for work or personal again. Oh and when Firestone responds I won't be sending any emails like you request from all other bad reviews, I've wasted enough time. Arrived at 7:55am leaving at 1:42pm. Paid over $1,800 for four tires and the lifetime alignment on my new Toyota truck. Next day, tpms system failed. Went back to tire store. Three valve stems were leaking air. The store replaced, then charged me for the valves, but not labor. Third visit back and mater tech is supposed to look at it. Very dissatisfied thus far. I should have went elsewhere. I'll probably end up having to take off work to go to the dealer to get it fixed. I should have bought tires anywhere else but Firestone. I called and asked to PURCHASE a tire. I didn't even beed them to put it on. I called asking at 1:30 and was told they wouldn't be able to "fit me in" because I called so late. I explained that it was only 1:30 and they close at 5, plus my service wouldn't take more than 20 minutes. He did not care. For any tire issues, I would advise going to hibdon. I had a unique experience, as did the gentleman that helped me I'm sure, when a woman came in and began giving her opinion about a controversial football topic, totally off the cuff and unexpected. Confused, but amused, I wasn't bothered because the service advisor there was kind and patient with her and segwayed cleverly to my transaction. He handled the woman's choice of topic very professionally--nodding his head acknowledging her, but still do his job swiftly. Any who--it was a very fast oil change and tire patch! In at 12:41PM, and out at 1:19PM. Boom! Normally I go to the Ford dealership for my oil change and it takes up to 2 hours or more. Tire had huge hump in it and was told by a "expert" that it was not a manufacturers defect. So I get on the app and find the next tire I want and get told after making an appointment for said tire that it would take a week to get tire. Came home to find a nail in my tire. Firestone closes at 7, so I head there to plug it. Arrived, but tire needed to be replaced. Service guy said "just leave it with us tonight" Full panic set it... followed by an emotional trigger response... followed by full tear flow... Guy says "it's okay. Don't worry." I realized I was a mess and had to explain that his simple phrase set off an onset of emotional responses that I couldn't prepare for... nor explain. It's grief. Easy solve would have been to just call a girlfriend or an Uber to get me home, but my headspace went the opposite direction. Guy didn't realize I needed an impromptu therapy session, but he hugged me. And, one of his guys just finished a different car and was ready to rescue me. Tire is fixed. All I can say is just get ready to feel as if you are being taken advantage of. If they do work it will fail within 2 years and you'll be back in there getting another high priced estimate on your vehicle. My truck started shaking RIGHT AFTER they replaced my brakes for the 2nd time in 2 years and they just keep finding new things to work on. Supposedly firestone and hibdons tires plus are now one and the same. That being said went in with my son to have his 'lowered' truck aligned and was told they do not work on anything that has been modified from factory. They actually tried to sell us on an independent specialty$$$$$ shop in OKC to do the alignment. We went to hibdons in Moore and they said poppycock! If that were the case a very large portion of vehicle owners would be screwed! Moore directed us to Hibdons in Norman who has a drive on lift for low vehicles. read more

Really disappointed in fire stone. All the staff is friendly but they will rip you off at any chance. My wife took in her Jaguar to have a tire repaired that had a nail in it. Turns out the nail was too close to the sidewall and they could not patch it. OK that's fine, replacing the tire is in order. However they tried to sell her on buying a whole new set of tires because they're procedures dictate they could not replace just one tire due to the Jaguar being an all-wheel-drive vehicle. This car is only a year and a half old and in no way needed a whole new set a tires. We ended up taking her car to the Jaguar dealership and they replaced just that one tire without any problem. I've also taken my Chevy Tahoe in a couple of times a couple of years ago to get an alignment. They said they could not do an alignment because of worn out ball joints. I questioned this since the ball joints were replaced not too long ago so I took my car to another service place and they aligned it no problem. My wife and I will never return to this fire stone after so many disappointing interactions. read more

I made an appointment Friday through the Hibdon's website and got an email saying they'd send an email confirming the appointment. I never got that email, but assumed we were good to go. We show up Saturday at the appointed time where we're told, "We discontinued the tires you had quoted." I asked why nobody bothered to call me and was told, "We did." A quick look at my call log showed me I hadn't had a phone call since Thursday morning. Still she insisted they'd called. The tires I quoted online were $391, the comparable tire they had was $544. I told her I didn't want to spend that much as I was prepared to spend $391 so she quoted me on some cheap (in all senses of the word) tire and which I said no to. She took that as an agreement to the more expensive tire and I went ahead with it because the next least expensive tire I had looked at was only $40 less. We leave. I get a phone call that the alignment is out on the right side so I tell her to go ahead and fix it because there's no sense in spending that much money on tires if the alignment is out. I ask her how long it will be and she says, "Not too long. About 30 minutes. I'll go ahead and let them know if you want to go ahead and head on up here." We get there about 40 minutes later and the service manager looks surprised that I'm there. She never told them to do the alignment. She never told them we were on our way. Save yourself the frustration and just go to Discount Tires. They're busier for a reason! read more

I just saw the only two reviews are 1-star, one-time customers. That's a shame because since my wife and I moved to a neighborhood near this Firestone about three years ago, I've only had positive experiences. They always give me a full itemized quote of what they recommend; however, I've never had one associate try and sell me on anything with high pressure sales tactics. In fact, on several occasions they've recommended my wife hold off on getting new brakes after the dealership told her she was in dire need of a whole new set. The reception staff and technicians at this location are always smiling and have on more than one occasion gone out of their way to make my business with them nothing less than exceptional. read more

Came in yesterday for an oil change. Connor was at the front and was very courteous and efficient. I was quoted a 2 to 3 hour window to return to pick up my car. Connor called me after an hour and it was done and ready to go! I asked for an oil change and a fuel flush. They wanted me to pay for a diagnostic and I refused it because I already had auto zone do it for free. Because I refused to pay for the superfluous additional hundred dollars, they refused to change my oil, citing they were worried it would damage my catalytic converter- because that's even related to the either. I was especially displeased with the treatment I received here by the staff via the counter attendant "Brody". This has been my go to auto store for quite some time. They usually get everything right and fix my vehicle. This time when I brought it in and I specifically asked to have the codes run from the check engine light and give me a diagnosis of everything that needs to be fixed. They were going to have it ready the night before but we agreed on me picking up the next morning. So they had plenty of time to accomplish this task. When I came to pick it up this morning after I paid I asked for the diagnosis and they had not done it. Unfortunately I had an appointment right after picking it up and cannot wait longer to have the codes run. It's frustrating to me that I pay hundreds probably thousands of dollars this year in car fixing costs to this firestone and yet I just need a simple issue diagnosed and having it done at the same time my car is getting fixed and they don't do it. As far as fixing car issues they do well on that and I have not had any issues thus far. It just seems that if they're in the business of fixing cars and your car has a light on indicating an issue. It would seem that they would want to check it out to make sure your car is safe and running properly for you as well as having the opportunity to fix more issues with your car. It seems like today they didn't really care and if we wanted it done we can wait and have it done. It just doesn't sit well when we spend thousands of dollars with this business and they don't seem concerned about the health of the vehicle. read more
