Terrible service. Had appt still waited more than two hours before my vehicle was pulled in, all the time I thought they were working on it, but it just sat up on the lift. Came back for part 2 of my repair, same thing. Waited again, no sorry for the delay. They just want you to sit and wait to get business and money from you. DO NOT COME HERE! Especially if you're having an emergency! We came to this location after driving up from Gulfport to take care of some business in Jackson the day after a funeral. When we were heading back to the coast, we needed to add more oil so we went ahead and checked the fluids. After checking the fluids, when we cranked the car, the car threw an overheating error. We saw there was a local Firestone, so we went there for help. We have history with other Firestone's and decided to try to stop at this one in the Pearl/Flowood. We were quickly greeted but the service men kept suggesting expensive parts that may or may not be the problem (we have a mechanic with us but no tools or equipment). We thought a coolant flush might be warranted in case air was introduced while we were checking fluids. However, we were told that the technician, (I believe his name was Jeremy), said he wants to not work on the vehicle because of an electric water pump being on it. They told us, on a Weekday at 4:30 in the evening to go to a dealership... after we told them we had nowhere to go and home is three hours away. Aside from the fact they were capable of the repairs and turned us away because we told them we couldn't afford to buy part after part plus the diagnostics cost and a flush. They also didn't offer to give us a card or anything- for a tow company, a local dealership that could help us, or anything else valuable or helpful. They basically told us "no thanks, good luck" without using those words. Do not go here if you need help. They will put you back on the road in a bind just like they did us. I had an appointment and dropped my car off at 11:30 AM. Joe came outside with me to look at it, so there was no confusion that the car had arrived. Hours passed with no update, so I called at 2:40 and was told they didn't realize it was outside and were just now going to start on it. They said the inspection would take 45 minutes, but I had to call them to get the quote. I was told it needed brakes, approved the work immediately, and still heard nothing. I called again at 4:20, and Joe said, "Working on it, bud, just gotta keep answering phone calls." That response was rude and dismissive. I came back at 5:30 -- 30 minutes before closing -- and only then did they finally call me for the first time. While I waited, I watched the staff vaping outside, clearly not in any rush. I didn't leave until after they closed at 6 and ended up paying over $800. Not to mention: my car didn't have a pull before, and now it does. So not only did I deal with poor communication, rude service, and wasted time -- my car drives worse than when I brought it in. Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend. read more

I went in to have coolant added to my a/c. Was told that it would cost $302, and I said okay, as long as it works. My vehicle is old, so it could be anything, but it had been cooling some, so I was hopeful all it needed was a boost. I waited 3 hours for them to tell me my a/c was gone and it would cost $1900 to get it fixed. I said I had better wait on that. They said that I owed them $302! I was shocked. I said you're going to charge me $302 and my vehicle is exactly the same as when I brought it in? So they gave me a $20 discount. I paid and left. No need to create a scene in the store. But I hate being ripped off. I'm 70, so I have been numerous times, but this was just a little too blatant! I never complain, not even in a restaurant, but this is a problem across our society today, and it needs to stop! All I want is my money back. read more

Excellent, conscientious service. We are a military family moving on orders and had issues with our car late last night. We arrived at Firestone first thing this morning to see if we could be squeezed in. A fantastic young gentleman offered us his appointment. I brought my car in after I hit a large pothole. I asked them to check ALL the runflat tires. They claimed they did and replaced 1 tire. I broke down 35 miles later due to another tire they didn't replace which was severely damaged by the pothole. They had ONE JOB. Now I'm stuck waiting for a tow on the side of the highway. AVOID THIS STORE. It'll save you hundreds of dollars and hours of aggravation. FAIL. read more

I've visited this location twice within the last few years. Both times were for a leaky tire (not the same tire or wheel). Both times they told me the tire was irreparable due to tread depth. The problem with this is...the 1st time the tires were only about 6 months old. When I went this morning, it was the same story and these tires are only a year or so old and have like new tread. Both times all the other tires were fine, the only one that needed to be replaced was the one needing repairs...go figure! I took my car to another tire repair shop and had the tire repaired for less than $20. Firestone had quoted their rate to be almost $47 and added "if we can repair it"! An hour wasted but a lesson learned not to be repeated. read more

Went in to get my tires rotated. It was quick, literally not more than 40 minutes. Cheap. They even gave me recommendations on what maintenance I may need to get next. Repeat customer. read more
