After wrecking and repairs I was told to take it for an alignment. I immediately called Firestone as we purchased the lifetime alignment. Was told to bring it in at 7 am the following day. I took it in, they told me it would take a couple of hours. I sat and read the newspaper, in no time at all it was completed. It's running like a champ. Their business is clean and well organized. Brought a 2004 jaguar in for them to look over because of a leak. mechanic showed me the crack in coolant reservoir and said there are other smaller leaks but coolant res is main issue. said installed it should only be $150. waited an hour for front desk to give written estimate, which was $600. now I've called around to 4 other mechanics and they all say it's nearly impossible to get parts for these jags even from dealer. knowledge is important! I've been a long time customer at this location. I stopped by the shop this morning to ask if someone could replace the high mount brake bulb for me. Mgr. reiterated that they were booked solid for the day. They could possibly get to it but the service would have to be scheduled as a ''wait" appointment. No appointments were available for the immediate future. I was undecided about scheduling an appointment, but when he stated that the service/labor charge to replace the bulb would be $124, I left. Went home, Googled a tutorial and replaced the bulb ($8 for a 2-pack) myself in less than a minute. I will never again book any service at Firestone. read more

I am not one to complain, but after reading other reviews of the manager, or employee, Jeff, I have taken the initiative to write this review. His bad reviews date back a few years and its obvious firestone does not care about firing him. In the past, I have taken my vehicle to this location on multiple occasions. Every single time I have come in, Jeff has been a completely not-nice person. Basically, an a-hole. It is glaringly obvious he lacks the social skills to continue functioning as a normal person in society. If anything, he is ungrateful to even have employment and obviously needs a bout of hunger to remind him of what it's like to be grateful to put food on his plate. He seems fed up with life and is the kind of personality that would dictate an active shooter-- emotionally labile. I would highly recommend anti-depressants for this guy, for starters, if not immediate termination. read more

Made appointment 3 weeks prior, checked in with service desk at 10:50 am for an 11:00 appointment, I have lifetime alignment and balance which I paid for when I purchased the tires, 2:05 pm the vehicle was still sitting in the space I had parked it over two hours prior, they knew I was waiting in the shop for it and I was told it would be two hours. . I was sitting waiting by the check in desk and three customers that had appointments after me had their vehicles put in the shop within 30 minutes, while mine was not touched. I am speculating but I believe they intentionally kept stalling my vehicle because I had the lifetime alinement and balance which had to be completed at no charge and they had customers who were spending money who they prioritized above me. What is the point of making an appointment if it's not going to be honored? I wasted over two hours of my time, no "sorry" no "how can we make it up to you", nothing. I have had nothing but the best experiences at this location. The last time I was here my family and I were taken care of by this woman who worked at the front desk, she was great! Also had great customer service. Now we're here and taken care of by John from the front desk, and I must say that his service is nothing but exceptional! He goes above and beyond for his customers, and makes sure his customers know what they're getting into. He provided us also great customer service and outstanding conversation while we waiting for our vehicle to finish. They also have a nice waiting area with 5 different seats, television, and a nice keurig with K-cups for customers! I made an appointment online to have my car inspected- tires, fluids, etc. the online appt was for 11am and it told me to call to confirm. I did that and they said to bring it in at 11. At that time I was told they would have it done by 4pm that day. I called at 3:30 and they said by closing (5pm). At 4:30 they called and told me that they had started but weren't finished and wanted keep it overnight and finish first thing in the morning (9am). I asked if the car would be kept in the garage and I was assured that it would be (absolutely maam). I called at 11:30 the following day and was told that the car would be done by 3:30. I went to pick it up at 3:30 and not only had it not been looked at, they confirmed that it had been in the parking lot all night (right where I had parked it when I dropped it off). At no time did they say they too busy, they just lied and strung me along for 28 hours. Then when I said that I was told it would be in the garage, they told me it was "just a car". read more

Went in with a coolant leak they said nothing was found, they wanted to sell me some tires I said no. Then they found a leak in the radiator , I had that replaced. The manager or who ever he is said we would not make it back to Washington! Guess what we are here with no problem The invoice also said we had a bad battery? Had the front desk girl named Kendra try and tell me that tires warranty's do not in fact work via mileage. I was extra cautious to always get balance, rotation and alignments done on schedule so when she had the nerve to tell me that my 60k mileage tires had no warranty left after only 30k of usage i was astonished. Never wanted to make time for me even when I go in early to drop it off or even if I make an appointment. Telling me he's book all week until next week. Which I call bull on that. But when I went further that is out of my way to the Cottonwood location. They always have the best customer service and always takes my vehicle in with an appointment or no appointment for just an alignment recheck. I gave southern multiple attempts to service my vehicle for an alignment recheck and to give him the benefit of doubt. And no improvement. So I went to Cottonwood location and big difference. my vehicle get done in a timely manner and calls you letting you know your vehicle is done every single time compared to the other location (southern) were it's late when it's about to be closing and they hardly ever call you letting you know when your car is done. I came in for a tire at 2:30pm by 8oclock at night I was still there. This was a 15min job at best the manager on duty kept making excuses and finally admitted to me he put people infront of me because he thought in his mind my 15 minute job wasn't as important as a lady who came in and needed 4 new tires after I been sitting there for 2 hours. I'll never go back unless I'm forced to and the Firestone in Enchanted Hills is even worse they all want to charge you stupid money to do anything and give you crap service. Places like Firestone and some of the other corporate nonesense has forced me to do this stuff myself I do my own oil changes down to cutting my own hair I even ordered a tire machine to put in my garage so I don't have to torment myself with this nonesense any more. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. This all started with a rental vehicle that I had with a local rental company. My rental truck got a flat and I replaced the tire with the spare. I made an appointment with fire stone via the car rental company for the next day. When I arrived the manager told my son that they did not have the capacity to change the tire and did not see an appointment to do so. Today I called and spoke with the manager and was told I could take truck and he would put it in the rotation to repair. We took the truck to drop off and the manager again told my son that he would only take the tire. I called and spoke with the manager and was then given the runaround. He said he never told me he would get the truck on the rotation to repair today and inferred that rotation could mean as late as tomorrow. he also said that I never asked him to mount the original tire back onto the truck. He told me he would call me by closing time. a call at 5:30 PM and was told that they were not able to make the repair today. I told him I was not surprised based on the local yelp reviews that his shop has and would pick up the tire tomorrow once I spoke with his corporate office and the car rental company. Disconnected the call. He immediately called me back and told me that we must have lost connection and began talking over me. I told him that I would be speaking with corporate. He continued speaking over me and wanted to know when I would pick up the tire. This manager is very rude and condescending. I will never take my business with them and suggest others never do so either. I am very disappointed with this lack of service and customer service. A friend and I were on on road trip to Utah and had radiator issues in Rio Rancho. Firestone was the only place open on Sunday and being from out of town was our only option. I debated on writing this review (I'm really not one who enjoys complaining), but Looking back at it now a few weeks later, it seems like they took full advantage of me and my situation and a bad review was necessary. After hearing that my radiator had a small hole and would need to be replaced along with a new thermostat and hoses I knew it was going to be an expensive job. $1500 was the price they tagged me with and because I was from out of town and on a road trip I had no other option but to pay it. What makes the $1500 price hurt even more now is that my dad just had the exact same job done last week in Texas for just under $500. Did they take advantage of me and my situation? I sure feel that way. It was a big job and took the mechanic all day to complete it (understandably), but they got it done. Or so I thought. After paying my $1500 bill, we went out to the truck to leave and it was running rough! It was idling extremely hard and even shut off on us! And, this was after the mechanic had test driven it. I went back in and rightfully so they took it back into the shop to get the idling corrected. After another hour of work and lots of research (the mechanic apparently wasn't sure how to correct the issue on her own), it was finally fixed. I wish I could say that was the end of the story, but there is more. More that even the store is unaware of. After leaving rio Rancho, we were about 30 min. down the road and my truck lost power. We pull over, pop the hood, and sure enough there is a battery cable that was unconnected. It took me a while to figure it out, because it wasn't a main cable it was a smaller one that connected near my fuse box. The Firestone mechanics must have forgotten to bolt it back in (it wasn't that way before I took it in to them). Thankfully a Good Samaritan in the small town nearby helped us rig it until we got to Farmington, NM 2 hours down the road to get the correct bolt put on. I feel I was overcharged for shotty services. They may be fine for small jobs, but I would recommend taking your business else where. You can get better service and better prices. read more

It wasn't leaking, but needed to be checked Leslie was working the desk and looked at my tire a d said because of where the nail was, I probably needed a new tire. We agreed on a price and after the nail was removed, the tire did not leak so nothing was done. Had them swap new two tires on two new wheels and they scratched in multiple places putting it on their machine on a wheel that costs $550 each, and charged me $65 for the work. Went to Discount across the street for my other car with no issues on the same wheel since firestone couldn't balance them properly either. read more

I had to have my jeep towed somewhere within 3 miles and the only shop around was Firestone. I was a bit skeptical going to a auto chain since they have always been known to rip people off. Well I was wrong. Firestone did a full check on my jeep and let me know what needed to be replaced in order to get my jeep running again as well as what needs to be replaced soon they also gave me prices for everything. When I searched around it looks like they were competitively priced. What I really liked was they were able to get all the parts for my jeep and get it fixed within only a few hours and they warranty there work. read more

This Firestone charged me $89 for a diagnostic, which I accepted. When the rep called me to tell me what they found on my car, he told me that they found other codes and if I wanted the results of those codes I would need to pay another $89 + tax. This was extremely offensive. When you pay for a diagnostic they should give you all the info, not try to get you to pay the same amount multiple times to get the info. To top it off, the guy gave me a little hand written note w the codes instead of a print out of the codes. I really didn't want to go here, because when they did my breaks a few months ago they said it would be done that day, and then kept my car until the end of the next day. The only reason I went back is because my breaks weren't working right. I give them one star, but if I could give them none I would! read more

Quoted me almost $1,000 for a brake job. Granted, it was for all rotors and pads, but a brake job should never cost $1,000. I'm getting it done with OEM replacement parts for just over $400 elsewhere. I'd avoid these guys like the plague. I took in my vehicle for new tire mounting and an alignment. They stripped the alignment bolts on my vehicle and charged me $70 for two new arm control bolts. I had to wait a week for the new bolts to come in. When I called to check if the alignment bolts had come in they said they were not showing they were ever ordered. Because I had already paid for the alignment I told them I was going back and wanted a refund. I then got a call back within the hour that the bolts I was waiting on had just been delivered. So I returned to have the alignment done on my vehicle. The first time they did the alignment my steering wheel was shifted to the left and my car pulled to the right. I took it in again and they straightened the steering wheel but it still pulls to the right. They said that the new tires that I bought must be defective. I then took my vehicle to a different reputable place. I found out that they placed two different alignment arm bolts on my vehicle and damaged the control arm. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! read more

In the spring of 2015 I went to this Firestone place to have the air conditioner system in my Jeep serviced for the summer and to evaluate why the windshield washer fluid was not spraying on the rear window. They said to leave the Jeep with them for the day. When I asked for a ride to my house which is one mile away the manager said that he did not have anyone there to do that and that one mechanic was out sick. I ended up walking home in 96 degree sunshine and felt like I had heat sickness when I got into my house (I was 71). Near the end of the day they called and told me they had completed the work. When I arrived there the manager tried to sell me a completely new AC system; I declined because the present one was working. When I asked about the windshield washer problem on the rear window he said "Oh we totally forgot about that! Oh well, bring it in another day and we'll check it". After that I did not go back there until June 28, 2016 to have the AC system evaluated for their $9.99 special, because it was blowing warm air only. On that day I was told that I needed a completely new AC system because the compressor was shot. They also performed a courtesy check and filled my windshield washer fluid reservoir; however, when I drove off their lot I noticed that all the fluid was on the ground under the front of the Jeep. At home I checked and the reservoir was empty. After considering the cost of a new A.C. system I decided to have Firestone install it. I went to the shop and made an appointment to bring the Jeep in. I reminded them that the present system was installed 3 years after I bought the Jeep. It was manufactured without an A.C. system. I also informed them about the washer fluid reservoir and the rear window washer that does not spray. The mechanic assured me that they would diagnose the problems and repair as needed. On July 8, as scheduled, I brought the Jeep in at 9: AM for the above service. I asked for a ride home (same place as last year) as it was too hot to walk there. The same manager as last year said exactly the same thing: "I don't have anyone to drive you home and I have one mechanic out sick". WOW! So much for customer service! I told him: "You told me exactly the same excuse a year ago". I called a friend and got a ride home. Firestone had my Jeep for 11 hours that day! They called me at 6:00 PM and said to come and get it but "unfortunately we could not find any parts for your Jeep so we just put everything back together the way it was before". I was stunned, to put it mildly. Then I asked about the washer fluid reservoir etc., and she acted surprised and said "What about it?" I explained the problems that they were going to diagnose and fix and she (Leslie) said "Oh, they didn't do that. I'll have them check it now". She called me back at 7:00 pm and told me that the reservoir is cracked and I need a new one and that they will call me when they get all the parts for that and the A.C. system.---------It is now July 15, 2016 and I haven't heard a word from them. Meanwhile, I went to Brake Masters and they showed me the reservoir, which is not cracked or leaking. The seal broke and the pump fell down and broke. They got the parts and fixed the problem in one hour! The same reservoir is in the Jeep holding the fluid. I AM DONE WITH FIRESTONE ! read more

I called this morning about an oil change and they told me when to come in, I showed up just a few minutes early and was told 45 minutes or less they'd get on it. I walked to donate blood and as I walked back to the shop I saw my car sitting outside thinking sweet it's ready to go at this point it had been an hour and 20 minutes. I go inside and wait about 5 minutes for someone to help me even tho there's no customers, when asked I said I'm here for my car and was told oh ok there getting ready to start on it shortly. I wasted 2 hrs of my precious day before I have to go to work and I didn't get the oil change I NEEDED. I've only been to firestone 1 other time in my lifetime and now I know why, I will not return, I will gladly pay more $ to a competent shop that treats customers like their time is important. We are on a trip from Oklahoma and our oil change light came on. We wanted to get it changed before we headed back so we took it to Firestone on southern in Rio Rancho, NM. They were pretty busy and asked if we could drop it off for a few hours, but we were trying to get headed out and Justin told me that they would get right on it and get it done as soon as possible. I appreciate not having to wait 2 hours because we had nowhere to go and there are 9 of us including a 5 month old baby. So thank you Justin and thank you Firestone!
