Bought four new camper tires, mounted and balanced. Discovered after installation that the tires…read morewere not balanced. Had them taken back off and balanced. At the end of installation I noticed a problem with the lug nut torque and was informed the wrench was set to 140FtLbs. These are 1/2" studs and require 100FtLb per the manufacturer and the sticker on the camper. Had the lug nuts loosened and retorqued to 100FtLbs. At least one lug nut was stripped, hopefully not the stud. I just bought 20 new lug nuts and will be replacing them myself, properly torqued.

Tire Discounters has always been very helpful and saved me money…read more I came in earlier in the week trying to get a tire plugged that had a screw in it only to find that the screw was too close to sidewalk to repair. A few days later Jimmy had the special order tire in and it's being put on now. Special order in that what I had on it was not in stock and had to be pulled from the warehouse. Costly tire. And unfortunately no discounts could be given. Or were available. I appreciate being able to get it done and they guys in the shop were very fast and efficient. Looks like the tire was put on well. Will watch it for the next few days to see if there are issues. I'd recommend this business. Fast, courteous, and responsible.

Don't get me wrong most of the time I come in on Sundays or early in the afternoon so as to miss the rush. But I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. Value for your money depends on your situation. I tend to come when it is cold since I hate to change my own fluids in the cold. I also prefer not to change antifreeze since it is hard to dispose of. I have never had an issue with over 20 different vehicles I have brought in for service over the years. I do recommend this location. I haven't been to the others in the area and I can say staff tends to change a lot but still good overall service.
