Came in for a flat repair/rotation and balance on 6/13/26. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I dropped my vehicle off, I specifically asked the technician to NOT go under the hood or do anything with my fluids.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] About 30 minutes after I left, I got a phone call from the store telling me that my tire couldn't be repaired and had to be replaced.. which I somewhat expected due to the location of the object in my tire. Of course, they don't have Toyo tires in stock. The ONLY tire they could get for me was a Bridgestone, which was double the amount of the original tire I purchased. Reluctantly, I agreed as I've got a trip coming up. Then, the tech tells me that I need an oil change because my "oil is black". Very concerning for two reasons. First, I asked him NOT to go under my hood and to just do the tires. Second, I manage a quick lube in the next town over. I know for a fact that my oil rated for 10,000 miles only has a little over 3,000 miles on it. Additionally, it's known in the industry that you absolutely do not recommend fluids based on color. Pretty much for this exact reason. Of course, I declined the oil change. Went to pick up the vehicle a few hours later and decided to open my hood before leaving the lot. Whoever worked on my car left my air intake tubes slightly disconnected from the air box lid. Both sides are broken and need to be seated a certain way, and not wrenched down, which I know were NOT disconnected and were seated properly before I came in as I just changed both of my air filters a few days ago. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After calling the tech back out, instead of just fixing it, he stood there trying to deny doing it. I had to physically show him how unclipping the lids would cause this to happen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Again, I asked why they would even go under my hood if I asked them not to. Their response? It's a courtesy, even if a guest asks you NOT to open their hood, they will do it anyway. I told them I've heard every excuse in the book, so that's not gonna work for me because I run a shop in the next town over, and in a smart tone he says, "oh.. so you couldn't do this??" pointing at my tires. No bub, we're a quick lube, we don't do tires or suspension or any of that stuff. Any time I've asked this store or the Fairfield store NOT to do anything under the hood, they've been happy to accommodate. These guys were purely hunting for sales and it's terrible for the industry. Makes it so people don't trust shops at all. Very disappointed in the service I received today. Update: Store manager Abdul reached out regarding my concerns. I do appreciate him taking responsibility for his team and hopefully using it as a constructive moment of training to better serve their guests. ZERO STARS. AVOID THIS BUSINESS. This is the worst of the worst in Vacaville. They are liars and swindlers. They charged me hundreds of a dollars for a repair and the problem persisted, they wouldn't fix it. Took it to another mechanic and he confirmed that the parts Firestone claimed to have replaced were old and it seems they didn't actually perform any service on my vehicle. The same thing happened to my daughters car the same day (we had appointments at different times the same day). They claimed to have fixed her car and charged her $1200 only to find out that nothing was fixed and we had to take it to another shop. Again the second opinion confirmed that there didn't appear to be any new parts where they should be (the second shop completed the actual repair without any problem for only $450). They came out and told a young man that his lug nuts were rusted and needed to be changed. He asked how long they typically last, and they gave him a vague answer. They charged him over $100. His car is a nice Camry. Thankfully, they left the lug nuts on the counter, and my skeptical self couldn't help but take a look. The lugs had only minor surface rust where the sleeve meets the wheel--nothing on the cap or the threads, which seemed normal. I explained to him that even if they did need replacing, which seemed unlikely, they're $19 on Amazon. He mentioned he didn't know how to change them himself. I tried to leave it at that, but the price seemed so inflated, I had to show him the actual condition of the nuts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The person at the counter seemed surprised.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The young man said he'd "try" to cancel the order. I hope he does.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The most surprising part was overhearing someone else mention, "I can't believe it, all three cars need new lug nuts." All the vehicles were late models, and the odds of that seemed low. You go in for an oil change and end up with a charge for new lug nuts. I'm going to escalate this to the better Business bureau and a couple local Vacaville sites that I belong to I believe I'm entitled to a full refund and I don't want these guys touching my car ever again I personally do not trust them to touch my car after this experience. read more

I took my car in to get my headlights and taillights replaced and to address a sensor light that would not turn off, even though I had recently gotten all new tires. I told them that I had already taken my car to Walmart the weekend before and they told me that there was nothing wrong with my car and that my sensors would just need to be replaced. Firestone told me that they didn't know what was causing the light to stay on and that they could hook it up to see what may be the cause and go from there. After 400 dollars later, they replaced 3 of my headlight/taillights and claimed that all that was needed for the sensor light to turn off, was getting my tires rotated. Well now the door to my suvs trunk will not stay open and the sensor light is on again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I brought my car back and they accused me of being a liar and denied damaging my car.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also brought out a tire from the back and claimed that it was my tire and presented it to me with a nail in it. I explained that if my tire has had a nail in it for all of this time, then my tire would've deflated weeks ago. But to get out of there I told them that I'd pay the 30 dollars to fix the "hole". When the man at the front returned my keys to me, he told me that my sensor light was still on and that 2 batteries for my sensors were low. He also claimed that the mechanic that worked on my car the last time, documented at the initial inspection that my trunk would not stay open when he replaced my taillights. I've been reading some of these reviews and just don't understand what is going on. Most of them are bad, but what I experienced was far from that. On July 12, 2022 I went in for a simple tire repair, but instead I made an appointment to have 4 new tires installed on my 2005 Chrysler. Not only were they on time but very friendly. They actually took time to explain some of the options I had and what would be best for my type of driving and my budget. I had been to this shop once or twice in the distant past, and even then I didn't have an issue of any type. I expect to be going back again when needed. read more

Never go here for any work on your vehicle. I bought tires from them 2 years ago only put 25,000 miles on them and they have to be replaced. So I asked about the manufacturer warranty (which covers 50,000 miles) they told me they can give me a prorated cost for new tires. They wanted to charge me $380 for 2 new tires they didn't even last 50,000 miles. I tried talking to them more to discuss why the warranty isn't covering more and they couldn't give me an answer. Walked up saw three mechanics in garage just talking to each other, not working. This place sucks. First I came in here the other day to get an oil change and get my tires rotated and balanced. I was told that my alignment was off and they couldn't rotate the tires because of it. Okay I get it. It's all wheel drive so because of of wear on the front tires due to the alignment being off it is unsafe. No biggie. Can you guys fix the alignment? Oh no! You can't adjust a subarus alligment without ordering after market parts and installing plates and chamber bolts and blah blah blah. Bullshit. Both the techs I spoke to apparently had no idea what they were talking about. Brought it into les schwab the next morning and got all four wheel alignment done in 40 minutes. I even told the tech at les schwab what they said at Firestone and he said they were either lying or just ignorant. Unfortunately I had to get two new tires and one of the few shops the website would deliver them to for install was the same Firestone. So I made an appointment for Saturday morning 7am so I could be in and out. Only two tires? No biggie right? Well here I sit after 45 minutes of being here and all they have managed to do is get it on the lift. The tech and the girl working at the counter are busy talking and talking in the back. Over 20 minutes now just about bitching about work, schedule, etc. I can see and hear them, and no work is getting done. I am supposed to be at work. I am in my work uniform and mentioned I was heading straight to work after this but no shits given here. I will never come back to this place. I waited another 15 minutes and still my car hadn't been touched nor had I been addressed for the fact that they had neglected my car and it was now past 5pm. I was super frustrated by the lack of service and around 5:15pm I asked them to just put my tires back on which they did instantly and not a single apology was given for how they handled the situation. As someone that has worked in costumer service my whole life, never would I ever treat customers the way I was treated today, I was super understanding without explanation but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the mechanics and especially the receptionist Marisa acted like they did not care that I waited that whole time and was now leaving with the same tires I came in with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly do not recommend this place, it's bad enough the pricing is ridiculous, but the service is even worse. Anyways they did a full inspection, and found the exact cause of the leak, ordered and installed the OEM part all within a few days. They didn't have my tire brand in stock so I bought a less expensive one and I'm going to use that as my new spare. And then go back to a different Firestone and use my insurance to get a new better quality tire. German walked me across the street so I could get a used rim so I can have an actual spare tire (for the next time I get a flat). He went above and beyond! Great service!! I want to thank Marisa and the mechanic(s) that worked on my car! I was driving through Vacaville, on Saturday morning, when I ran into car problems. I stopped at Firestone and they were able to quickly diagnose the issue (bad water pump). The labor would have been 13 hours which would have cost $2500 (not including parts), but the mechanic was able to do it in 8 hours for a cost of $1400. Huge savings for me! They worked on it the rest of the day and I picked it up on Sunday morning. My total cost was under $2000 (was able to get financing on the spot). I still had to drive to southern California, 400+ miles of driving to go. Marisa was so kind and patient while I waited in their waiting area, with a dog and cat, until I could check into a hotel for the night. They worked on my car for me to safely make it home. Using the online tire size lookup feature on the firestone website, I got a quote for the cheapest out-the-door price for 2 generic tires for my Honda Civic: $122. Not bad, so I called the Vacaville location to confirm the price was accurate and type of tires were in stock. The woman on the phone asked my tire size, and I read her the size from the Firestone site's tire size lookup. Only one size option comes up for a 2000 Honda Civic EX, and I took for granted that Firestone, of all places, would not have the wrong tire size for my vehicle. Over the phone, the saleswoman attempted to convince me to go with more expensive tires (of course) and even tried to get me to open a Firestone credit card in order to afford them. I declined and set up an appointment to have the tires from my online quote installed the following afternoon. When I arrived for the appointment, I was immediately told by the same woman that the size of tire we discussed was incorrect for my car, and given a new quote of $239............ But wait. I could still save money if I opened a Firestone credit card! After trying to explain to the saleswoman that I should not pay twice as much as my original quote for Firestone's own error and showing her that the same tires in my size were only $5 more each according to the Firestone website, she still refused to honor any lower price and did not offer ANY solution, discount, or even an apology for the inconvenience. It was obvious to me by her actions and attitude that this type of false advertisement is a part of Firestone's business model. Came in for the monthly the air pressure check on my Firestone tires and after a while, someone pumps all 4 up a bit. Seemed like he knew what he was doing so I left believing all was well. Few weeks have gone by and I've noticed that ride comfort had gone down and had been a little harsh. For Black Friday, I got a cool deal on amazon for a digital tire pressure reader and tested it out on my car. I couldn't believe what I saw. ALL 4 tires were around 60 PSI! They're supposed to be at 32!!! No wonder every bump on the road hit with a thud and my gas mileage decreased! All my tires were over inflated to almost double!! I usually go to the fairfield location for tire pressure checks but I was near the Vacaville location but never again! DON'T get any services done here. If they can't even get the tire air pressure right, how off will they be with anything more complicated?? read more

For daaaaaaaaaays. Seriously. So when the time finally came to strap a new set of ridiculous rubber onto my S2000, I brought her back to the same place I got my last set of ridiculous rubber. These tires are far from common & are likely special order anywhere. When I called asking about availability, they said they could have the tires next day. They even took a chance on me & waived a deposit despite the $$$$ pricetag for a set of 4. I went in the next day & the tires were there. It took 2 hours to mount & balance those 4 tires. I'd gripe about that, but I know removing & installing large contact patch/ low profile/ stiff sidewall tires like that is a pain in the butt. I also know that job isn't rated 2 hours labor, so I appreciate the effort. The car drives like a dream. For lateral G's, these tires defy physics. On windy roads, I got more smiles per mile than anyone else. When the time comes again to strap more ridiculous rubber onto my curve carving roadster, I will be back. read more

Want to pay an extra 40-100 dollars than any other mechanic will charge you? This is the spot! If the technician says that the 65 dollar diagnosis fee will be dropped if you use their services, you'd expect them to mean it right? Well, sadly, when we went to pay the woman said that she still has to pay for the tech's work and therefore we're being charged...which is fine, give the man his money, but don't claim it'll be dropped and then NOT drop it from our bill. I wouldn't be upset over 65 dollars if it wasn't nicely wrapped up like a scam. Also, if you fix one thing, but immediately afterwards something from that exact part of the car breaks most people would think something fishy just happened right?
