I've been going here ever since my Hyundai Elantra and Ford fusion around 2019... recently my AC went out in my Jeep, and Midas Vacaville was unhelpful, so I brought it to Aaron's automotive and they went above and beyond. I told that my situation and Marlene and Stephanie have been the upmost helpful since then.. I was getting charged almost $7000 at Midas and aarons quote was 3,500 with insurance I'm only paying my 300$ deductible. I highly recommend this place. Aarons automotive keeps you updated and are very reasonably priced for the work they do. They go above and beyond. I had a couple of reasons to visit Aaron's Automotive, yet again. My car is a 2006 Ford Explorer, and SUPER reliable. I have relied on Aaron for about 16 years, for any automotive issues, and I don't have any complaints! Very bad experience: I asked if they could reset the SRS Unit because I had to reset it after the accident so the SRS light would turn off. She said yes, $39. However, the tech spent several minutes and did not reset it successfully. She said that my airbag might have other problems so further inspection was needed, $139. I agreed, and on the appointment day, I sent the car in and she printed out the service fee, but it was $189, $50 more, which I accepted. The car was sitting there for 6 hours, and the tech called and said they could not reset it, so I went to pick my car up. Because they did not find any other problems with my car, they just found that they still could not complete the reset. I thought they would not charge for this. But they insisted that I pay, saying it was for the diagnosis fee. Did they diagnose that they could not reset it themselves and I have to pay for it? But I paid it anyway. I feel stupid for being lured by her with a non-existent problem, and she seemed to have done nothing wrong. Is this how business should be done? Let others pay for their stupidity and her intelligence? They made money, my problem was not solved, and I lost money and time. Didn't you know you didn't have the ability to reset Srs units? I have went to Aaron Automotive for several years - the last 2 years so many time the courtesy driver know were I live - in and out serval time with check engine light always one more thing. Last straw 8-22 I took my Jeep in because Air Condition wasn't working repair lasted less than 3 week. More $$$ told me know credit for last repair because I guess I was suppose to take it back for them to check dye? But the straw the broke the camel back was - when I call asked when vehicle would be done at 5 pm. young lady that work afternoon now said yes I asked about Courtesy shuttle she told me it wasn't a service they provide- I had to tell her I have been their so many time shuttle drive know who i am and were I live new her story changed to that person wasn't available to pick me up. when I went in to pick up jeep. I told her the reason many people return is because of service. she went and got Aaron the owner - he told me shuttle wasn't available at time - and if I raise my voice I could get The F___ out. Owner F'd me over . Came in for cyl 3 misfire. Charged 2k , pulled it apart told me I need new Camshaft. Saud I couldn't afford it. He had sum ¡||£g4| mexican do the work couldn't speak English. They put it back together and got down street , all lights on dash light up, smoking, LIMP MODE all kinds of that never happend b4. He towed it back using his personal pickup truck , got back next day he said it was the belt n replaced it. Check engine light came back on, 3cyl still. I am sadden to have to put this bad experience out there but want others to be aware.. My previous experiences with Aaron's have been pleasurable, however my latest encounter not so much..We needed some services done and made an appt on Monday for an opening that coming Thursday. We brought the car in first thing and by Friday afternoon the car still never had been touched. Was told they'd need it until the first part of the next week. So my car would have sat untouched for approx 4-5 days for a job that doesn't take more than a day. What is the point of having an appt? What makes it even worse is the rude customer service given by Nick. I could have worked with them on keeping my car for longer than needed but bad customer service is a deal breaker. I ended up cancelling the work and picking up my car. I hope someone who has any authority for making things right at Aaron's reads this and makes necessary changes. 2 starts because I'm giving the owner the benefit of the doubt. I came here to have a coil replaced. Charged me very fair pricing and I was very happy with the service. I then go to get a smog check and the guy tells me that someone pulled out the hose in my car that can cause the engine light to go on. He mentioned that this is something a mechanic would definitely have noticed. So Aaron's Automotive is the best in town and that is why I drive a good 40 minutes to take my trucks here anytime I have a issue. When you know something just isn't right with your vehicle it's hard to find mechanics you can trust who won't charge you hundreds just for a basic evaluation. Aaron's team went above and beyond to check the issue with my truck, I've had a popping noise in the front of my Chevy which Patrillos another company in Vacaville said they didn't notice and also Big O tires. Only reason I went to these places is because Aaron's place gets booked quick that's how good they are. Well I was able to get in a Friday evening appointment and sure enough they drove it around even with me in the truck and found the issue. On top of that they were able to fix my break light and found one of my cables to my spark plugs rubbing which damaged the cable so they replaced that. (They were NOT changed by Aaron's) It turned out that a bolt had come loose. They checked it out, and replaced the bolt. Then went through and tightened the rest. All at no charge!! Another time, I went for an oil change. I dropped off my car, and walked down to the pool hall in the strip mall next door. Man, this place has really gone down in service! I'm writing this a few months late. I took my car in because of a few issues. My a/c wasn't blowing cool air anymore. My front end was squealing when I reversed. My rpm's were idiling very low. And it was misfiring. To make a long story short, I was able to get my a/c fixed for free (parts were still under warranty). The guy that was working on my car said he fixed the squealing and all it was, was something that was rubbing against the wheel and it just needed to be bent into place. Regarding the idiling and the misfiring, all he said was that it didn't do it for him so he didn't know what I was talking about. He couldn't even give me an idea. Also, they had my car for the entire day even though I was told it would only take 4 hours. Also the guy that works in the front, young guy - looks like he gets his eyebrows waxed was demeaning when he was talking to me and he doesn't listen. So, I ended up taking my car to the dealership and it turns out that 2 major things needed to be replaced - a valve and my front brakes! I originally took it to Aaron's because I had good service in the past and thought I was saving myself money going to a small business but now I'll just pay the extra money and go to the dealership. read more

The wait was not long for an oil change.I received no phone calls or notices during my visit to inform me that I needed an air filter ,oil pan plug gasket or something additional. They didnt top off the other fluid levels but the oil looked as if it was changed & so did the filter.The price was decent. I've been debating whether or not to write a review. I liked all of the people that worked there had saw them several times over the month of July, but I will not be a returning customer. I made an appointment for the morning because my car AC was not working. At the end of the day they said they were unable to look at my car and that I would need to come back the next day. That night when I was parking my car I noticed the gas pedal not working quite right. My car was lurching when in a turn or the gas pedal was sticking. I called and let them know that on top of the AC repair this weird thing was happening (I had never had problems with my car before and just had the $100,000 mile maintenance performed two months prior at a different shop). They said they can look at it while they fix my AC They pinched some wires and said my AC was fixed-I would only be charged the diagnostic fee (over $120). They diagnosed my pedal issue as a throttle body problem and that I would need a new throttle body (and new diagnostic fee $). They also said my car was now turning off when in a sharp turn. So they order the throttle body (later I learned the price was over the dealership price). I come back to have it replaced and to have an oil change and transmission fluid flush and my AC fixed again because it stopped working. A check engine light comes on after having the throttle body replaced, they say it could be my fuel rail system and they'll replace the filter (new diagnostic fee $). The AC was not fixed during this visit because they said they weren't aware that I wanted it done in the same visit. (Side note: while there they noticed I had a bad tire and showed it to me and how to tell if my tires are good, I went to les schwab the next day to change it) Light comes on again that weekend and my car is leaking something. So they order a new fuel rail sensor because my check engine light came on and as it turns out my transmission fluid cap was not sealed right and I had been leaking transmission fluid for a full weekend. They work on my AC, but I need to come back for a new part. They say there is no damage done to my car and I am good to go. They take out my rotor and check it over and fix the wires and put it back in. My AC is now good to go. They said if my check engine light comes on in the next few days to call them. I didn't drive much the next few days. A week later my check engine light comes on for system too lean, a hose had been left off and tucked to the side during an oil change. My pedal was also sticking again just like before and lurching my car. I took my car to a mechanic in Davis and had them fix it because at this point I no longer trusted going back to Aarons Automotive or that my car would make the drive. I called Aarons Automotive and let them know my car was out again and they said to bring it back if it's the same problem they'd take care of it, but after my experience I felt they would just say it was a new problem and I'd be out even more money and a new diagnostic fee (about $2500 at this point). The new mechanic fixed the throttle pedal assembly, spark plugs, and intake gasket set. ($740) In the mean time I had to buy a new used car (out even more money now) So like I said, I like the people at Aarons Automotive. I think if I had brought my husband or someone who knows more about cars my experience would have been different. Since I did not and based on my experience with them, I would not be a returning customer. I only came back as many times as I did to fix the original problem because I did not want to be charged a new diagnostic fee at another mechanic (which as I later learned some mechanics waive the diagnostic fee if you choose to use them for services). read more

So This is my 1st time coming to Aaron's for something besides an oil change or some small maintenance issue. I needed my motor replaced on my Commercial work van. I first got quotes from all surrounding auto repair shops and after getting quotes reading each agreement I could instantly see that Aaron's automotive was going to be doing the work. They got the work done on time and in the most professional manor I believe possible. One of the team members would call me every time a new decision had to be made. The mechanics and front desk associates and Aaron's Auto are simply the best at what they do I want to shout out to Allison for answering all my questions concerning the van and the work being done. Front desk manager (Marlena) was truly amazing. Excellent customer service, communication and knowledge. She provided me with constant updates on all of the agreed upon repairs/unanticipated repairs and was very transparent with the cost to stay within my budget and repairs that could wait. 5/5 The owner (Aaron) is also a great person once he opens up and additionally provided great service, except, he cannot do everything or be everywhere which affects overall quality control. I returned multiple times for repairs that were done incorrectly and/or totally missed. On day one my request was to have a safe vehicle that would survive a 1,700 mile trip, a major oil leak that was supposed to be fixed almost caused me a major engine failure (5qts low) mid-trip. So, Quality control is the obvious issue but where do you place the blame? Training? Owner? Inexperience? Certification? Or ALL the above? A Business seeks to ensure that product quality is maintained or improved. I asked for a safe vehicle and was willing/paid close to $5K to eventually be disappointed. After so many chances given and the frequent mistakes I no longer trust the work would get done right and wouldn't go back unless I was 100% sure Aaron did or checked every repair. Unless he corrects the issue, he will lose customers and his reputation. Overall 2/5 Mildly recommended. Other Pros: warranty, you can bring your own parts, Prices are fair, military discount and the comfortable environment. Other Cons: my trip was delayed by 3 days! Rear Bumper was dented in while in there possession. Don't wait for a repairs, diagnostics is also slow. Get a rental car for for major repairs, they will last a few days/weeks. Closed on the weekends. No cars accepted that are older than 2000. read more

I took the day off to bring my 2007 Honda Suv to get the oil changed and air conditioning checked and serviced. I had an apt for 10:00, brought my car in at 9:30, checked in and told the service lady that I needed the car at noon to pick up kids at school. When I arrived at 11:45, to pick up my car, they informed me that my car had not been touched! I asked them what the apt was for? They did not apologize or offer me anything for their screw up. I really hate to do this but Arron the owner/manager screw me over big time from the moment I called the lady up front about having my brakes In I which I told them they needed to be flipped over as in bleeder needs to be on top only reason I flipped them is because we had no pressure from the brakes even in correct position anyhow so I Aslo found my front end had a ton of play in which friend and I suggested the most play was coming from the pitman arm and asked the lady at front if they could verify it she said no problem we will call and let you know if we find anything else ok cool. Get the call from the lady at the front saying wrong brakes installed and I told her they where on the wrong sides and needed to be flipped ok we will call you back. So got the call and said truck was ready and I was like really nothing else which I kinda knew wasn't right from the get go but I was like ok I guess I will pick it up and recheck it out later so come to pick it up and find both front tires cambered in 40 degrees and cockeyed I was like really!!!!?? And was just like I will call in the morning too tired to deal with it and when I tried to drive it down the street the front end was all over the place and would not drive straight worth a damn and ended up going over the sidewalk so when that happened I called for a tow and took a police report in case it was going to be a take them to court situation well after I cooled down after spending 1200 for a brake bleed, door actuator replacement (350 dollars!!! For a 80.00 at cost part way over priced again just for part and pretty much already knew Arron was already screwing me over so he asked in which I honestly wasn't going to say yes if he could make it right about my truck getting towed home because they didn't bother to actually test drive the truck. So he tows it in to his shop and informs me it's the upper control arm bolt was the problem which it was verified by Chevy and red label to not have been the problem so I said well at this point man just get it to the point I can drive it safe and will be taking it to another shop to fix your sloppy work so hey shakes down the front end and fix's the idler arm (not replacing the idler arm bracket like he should have) but anyways not the problem and with how the front end was their would have been no point in fixing it if I had known how bad it was. So he tells me directly over the phone the place that does my alignments for me only charges in house price of 65.00 so that's all I'm going to charge you and what do I find next? Charges me 100.00 dollars just to be a dick even though he only charged me 89.99 for the inital alignment that my lawyer and the bearu of automotive repair says should have never been done without rebuilding the front end I took a class on this so I already knew the violations he was commuting. So took it to red label and spent 4,500 to fix this liers work and replaced parts that he already did. Complete lack of trust, professionalism, quality of work/automotive industry standard 20 years of experience or not it's this bs that can get you a nice lawsuit and revocation of your business license. If you want to be overcharged and receive the worst service you possibly can get suggest going to the dealer over this place as they will still be cheaper and have better quality of work and won't lie their ass's off to protect themselves. Better yet see Cody at red label even he says do not come here as well as four other shops within the area I was like damn that bad huh but again my truck is a fine example of that. Oh what was icing on the cake was my struts where absolutely shoot to hell too like zero bushings left which Aslo was part of why the truck was walking all over the place on the highway so I didn't even hesitate to have red label to replace the shocks read more
