Came here for the 1st time, but I have always driven by this place for years since I was a kid. This day happened to be the time I needed to get my car serviced and my bf switched cars with me (so nice!) Upon getting here, I loved that the owner listened to my car service needs and ensured they were met. (Ex: no cleaning dashboard with any cleaners. Soap and water only, interior detail with not too oily products). All my needs were met and the clay and wax were done perfectly. Very disappointing experience, They have more employees shining the tires on the cars (before the cars are being dried, from my past experiences cars are first dried and cleaned and the final step is to shine those tires and wheels). than drying them. Cars are just sitting in the sun waiting to be worked on. It sure has definitely changed from before.. Bad management, they have plenty of bodies to move cars along but they rather have more people to work on the tires and wheels. Wont be coming back. read more

The last few times I've visited, the car washes haven't been thorough, and the overall service has been disappointing. I brought my car in yesterday (Sunday) before closing time. After the wash, I noticed my window visors were placed on the back seat, but none of the employees mentioned anything about them. I assumed they had simply fallen off. However, today when I went to reattach them, I discovered that one of the visors was actually damaged. It's frustrating that the staff noticed the issue but chose not to notify me--instead, they hid the damaged pieces inside my car. It's also concerning that they removed the other visor to make it seem as though they had both fallen off. Additionally, I've noticed the employees drying cars often use rags that have fallen on the ground, which can easily scratch the paint. If you visit this location, I strongly recommend doing a full walk-around inspection of your vehicle before leaving to ensure there's no damage or missing parts. read more

Well, first we arrived and no one was here to greet us. We waited 5-10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. A guy finally came by and although he did apologize it wasn't fun waiting around. My car was finally put through to get washed but it just sat there for 20 until before anyone would dry the car. I think not enough staff to do the job. read more

My IT department decided to remotely work on my computer and transfer files. This happens about once every couple of months, so it was no big deal. However, they wanted to archive some old email files and the estimated time was over 1.5 hours!! Since I couldn't do much without my computer, I decided to get the new truck washed. My receptionist told me this was her go to, but since it was Friday afternoon, I'd probably have along wait and I'd pay over $20.00 since I had a truck. The line was long, both the drying and pick up line and the drop off line. I thought this was a good sign. However, my first impression was that this place was an accident waiting to happen. After you drop off your car, you have to cross in front of the car wash exit. I kid you not. In surprised no one has slipped and fallen and sued this place. Next, they run way too many cars through the wash. The poor guys working there don't have enough time to dry the cars already baking in the sun and getting water spots before the next set of cars come out. So, they use what looks like Windex to clean the spots on the paint, the windows, heck, even the interior door panels. I power folded the mirrors on my truck so they wouldn't be hit in the wash. When my truck was pulled out, I noticed the driver side mirror was out, but the passenger was still in. Oh no! He manually moved the mirror. When I tried to operate it, it didn't work. Then I heard a crunching noise (probably the gears getting back in alignment) then both mirrors worked again. That little slip up could have cost a couple of hundred dollars. For the most part, the truck came out pretty clean, especially the tires and rims. However, for the danger of the layout of the property and the lack of knowledge on how to work mirrors and such, only 3 stars. If you have a beater, go for it. But if your car costs anywhere north or $40,000.00, look elsewhere. read more

NOT a hand wash. They have spinning brushes. They dry by hand and dress the car by hand but it is NOT hand wash as advertised. False advertising. Not only that, someone working here hit my car with what seems to be sometime of white plastic bottle because there was a white mark. I asked the employee to clean it off to see if it was just a smudge and it was not. It scratched the clear coat. Employees and manager (even the employee I asked the clean it off) tried to lie and say it was there before. It was a new scratch that resembled white plastic hitting the side. Horrible establishment, horrible customer service. Call a mobile wash and save money time and know you're actually taken care of. Buyer beware I was offered a $200 detail on my car seats,dash,rug everything .... I said it was too pricey so they dropped it to $150 I said okay great ..... 2 hrs later I'm told my car is ready... I get my car back washed yes not even waxed ...and detailed absolutely not... for $200 the original price you would expect a great job... I didn't even get my back seats vacuumed I got in my car and the dash screen was still dirty with dust and water marks I would have been better off at a do it your self wash... they vacuumed the backseats again then handed me the keys yet again and as I drive off I see they dash is still dirty... if I would have got the $20 wash I get it ... but I did pay the one for $200 wash .... I went back and asked if the dash screen is not part of the $200 wash and was yelled at saying "well didn't you have to leave" ..mind you this is the 2nd time they give me my keys saying they are done with the wash...I asked for a rag and did it myself.... I know South Gate doesn't have a lot of hand wash places but I was told after talking to a friend that in bell off Otis and Florence they do a way better job and so much cheaper than the $200 price ... they gave me a "free wash" of $30 value...some how I feel that this $200 wash is the same as that $30 one .... For once in my life I could not find a spot they missed. There was no dirt found on the carpets as well. When the carwash drys your car off. I got my car washed and cleaned went in super early on Sunday at 8am. Not too many cars. Paid a good amount and got my seats cleaned. I got my car back and trunk was not vacuumed at all. They vacuumed it, I let the seats dry at home and they looked worse than when I brought them in, and now had spots when dried. Went back and they fixed it but looking at the vacuum there's still a lot of crumbs in all the front and back seats and trunk. I get that it's not a detailing place but damn that was still expensive for me and for an okay job. I don't know man, I always want to support South Gate businesses but this one is not as good as it used to be. Maybe I just came on a wrong day. read more

I brought my car in today, payed $26, and the job they did was mediocre. The interior was barely cleaned with stains still left everywhere. There was sugar in the back passenger seat where my son sits and it wasn't vacuumed or wiped off. I understand I'm not paying for a full detail but the basics include a wash, vacuum and interior clean which they failed to do properly. According to the owner, and his policy is posted on the wall. According to the policy, what are they responsible for. The manager knew they scratched it, and refused to deal with it.
