Where things really impressed us however is that upon laundering my wife's pants for the first time a few weeks later (once we were sure we were done skiing for the year), a zipper pull failed on them in such a way that one of the side pockets was pretty much rendered impossible to use. I reached out to the store via email and they offered me a full refund upon shipping the pants back to them, no questions asked. Yes, we were disappointed the pants failed, but at the same time I greatly appreciate the fact that they stood by the quality of their clothes this way. In this day and age you often are literally just screwed if something like this happens. You cannot go wrong shopping here.

I watched one customer pay the $7 service charge and then unknowingly add a $10 tip on top of it. Several others did the same because they had no idea the service charge was already included. What bothered me even more was that the cashier held back the itemized receipt until after customers had already signed and added a tip, and only then asked, "Do you want your receipt?" At that point, customers had no chance to see what they were actually paying for. If people want to tip extra, that's totally fine -- but they should be aware of what's already been added. Watching multiple customers unintentionally double‑tip didn't feel good, and it's something that needs to be addressed.

I quickly realized he was under the influence, dealing with a mental health issue, or both and I wasn't sure how to free myself from him. I didn't even know his name. Once we sat down, I excused myself to the bathroom so I could tell the staff I had no idea who he was, or whether he intended to pay or expected me to. I'm not writing this to demonize the poor man, who at the end of the day was clearly pulling on some unconscious compassion. I'm writing it to thank the staff. Everyone was so kind, asking if I was okay, assuring me they'd split the check, and I think one of them even offered to walk me out the back if I wanted an escape route. We made it through dinner, he paid for himself, and I figured out how to shake him loose afterward. I'm so grateful for all the checking in you did throughout the evening, and for helping me not overreact. I'd wanted an app, a salad, a dessert. I also needed to get out of there.
