The dental assistants are always quick to pull me back for my appointment so I can't even tell you what the waiting room is like lol. The cleanings are done with efficiency and gentleness. I appreciate how they stay on top of my dental health with gum measuring and xrays. Dr Ash has done a couple procedures for me and I have total confidence in him and his advice for my dental needs. Dr. Ash is a fantastic dentist running a great operation. I first contacted his office due to…read moreseveral chipped teeth, needing a few extractions, needing crowns, and fillings due to a preexisting condition. I articulated how sensitive my mouth is to his staff and they handled it as well as I could have hoped. They evaluated the state of my mouth, created a plan to address the issues right then and there (including different options that were available as well as the financial cost of each option), and he was able to plainly and simply explain to me what was happening, what had caused it, and prevention measures in the future (such as Clinpro toothpaste). Throughout the experience Dr. Ash and his staff did everything possible to ensure the comfort of the patient, utilizing several numbing techniques (as well as having the option of using laughing gas at any time for a fixed fee of $75 per use, if memory serves me correctly), and offering ibuprofen if pain is anticipated once the numbing wears off. He also personally went out of his way to ensure that all of the work was done in the most cost efficient manner. Dr. Ash refuses to up-charge and will instead offer discounts depending on the work set to be done. He also has a dental payment plan that is available should you need to pay incrementally. Additionally, he gave me his personal number to contact him in the event that the healing process gave me something unexpected, and he has responded and gone out of his way on the weekend (!!!) to give me his professional advice on varying topics related to my procedures, what to expect, and if what i'm experiencing is 'normal'. He is also willing to prescribe pain medication for the severe pain/procedures (like extractions) where ibuprofen or similar pain killers just aren't enough. His staff is fantastic, warm, and friendly - starting with Jerry who greets me with a smile (or used to, before COVID, now I just assume he's smiling under his mask) upon my arrival. His dental hygienists are friendly and I have had a number of good conversations on a variety of topics that had nothing to do with dentistry. The equipment doesn't appear to be 'state of the art', but he is able to do everything efficiently nonetheless. My only complaint is that Dr. Ash, who is himself a musician, has such a robust playlist of music (from his library, not spotify or radio) that I will routinely hear songs that i've never heard before, instantly like, and want to purchase myself, only to forget it a few songs later when the process inevitably repeats itself. I still have not heard the same song more than once and I'd say i've spent roughly 15 hours in his chair over the past calendar year. All in all, Dr. Ash will be my dentist for as long as I'm within a 100 mile radius of his office. Cannot say enough good things about this practice.

He was clear and concise with the information but it was provided in a way that made me feel like I'd known this provider for years. X-ray technology was fast and efficient and was awesome to see in action. I had two teeth extracted and still left with a smile. He did not explain why I needed so much work, even when questioned he offered nothing. His 1st words to me were somewhat of an insult in indicating that I had had a lot of work done like I had not been to a dentist and taking care of my teeth over the past 6 decades, when in fact I have been going to a dentist at least twice a year for at least the last 25 years. It is not just him however, the wording in the initial paperwork is rather terse in that it threatens to discharge you if you fail to give your entire medical history. I dental assistant had great difficulty placing the device to take x-rays and had to keep repositioning it just to get a single x-ray. When you take the whole mouth, that is way more than one should actually have to have. She also kept blaming the equipment. The hygenist never introduced herself to me. While she was describing each tooth with a number to the dental assistant who was recording it seemed like they were just talking to each other in their lab at school rather than just treat me like a human being. If you want to have an interactive relationship with your dentist this is not the one to see.

Everyone in this office is kind, professional, and always puts you at ease with whatever you're having done. Their office hours are very accommodating, with early morning and evening appointments available if you need them. I've seen them several times over the last couple of years for everything from cleanings, to cavities, and more. Then, yesterday, August 7, 2020, I tripped over a small gate in our backyard, landing face first on our concrete walkway, damaging several front teeth in the process. I called their emergency number, and Dr. Babilonia answered right away. She asked me to text her a picture of my teeth, and upon seeing the picture, decided I needed to be seen by an endodontist, as the injury was more severe than she could care for in her office. Luckily, her husband, Dr. Hochberg, is an endodontist with a practice located near Montgomery and Pennsylvania. Agreeing that immediate treatment was crucial, she and her husband met us (I was in no shape to drive so my boyfriend took me) at his office within 45 minutes. Let me repeat that, just so it's perfectly clear. Dr. Babilonia and her husband came in on a Friday night, in the middle of a pandemic, to help me. Now you may think, well, that's their job, and sure, I wouldn't disagree with you, but they could easily have said, you know what, given the extent of the injury to your teeth and mouth, it's probably better if you go to the ER. That would not have been an unreasonable call to make. But they didn't. They gave up their Friday night to help me instead. Throughout the whole experience they were both calm, calming (I was a little freaked out), consultative, and clearly concerned about my physical, and emotional well-being. I'm going to leave a separate review on the page for Dr. Hochberg's business (Endodontic Associates of Albuquerque) as well, but I want to make sure I say how impressed I have always been with Dr. Babilonia, her staff, and her practice. Last night's emergency just solidified what I already suspected. These are good people, doing a good job, and taking care of their community.
