The only barbershop I take my sons to! La Esquina Barbershop (The Corner), formerly known as First Class Barbershop, has transformed itself into a smooth, bold and classy establishment. They moved and rebuilt after a fire next door took them out for months (good for you guys!) and the new digs are better than ever! The new location features rustic finishes and top notch facilities with the same friendly faces, good attitudes and superb barbering skills. They also have a relaxing outdoor space where clients can hang out while they wait for a cut, or in my case, wait for my sons while they get their full barbershop experience! It's evident La Esquina Barbershop (The Corner Barbershop) put a lot of effort into making this more than a haircut, but rather a 30 minute experience for their clients and it doesn't go unnoticed. Though Carlos is my go-to barber, all of the guys have phenomenal skills. Also, all of the guys are dads so they work great with kids! You can't go wrong. If I had the option to put 0 start that's what I was putting . I was desperate to get haircut today , thanks giving day so I called around to ask who is open this place was the only place who's open but they said in advance that they charge double - instead of $25 they asked $50 , I was ok with that and I went to take the haircut. When I got there after the let me seat because I wanted to do my beard so he asked another $20 Regular haircut for $70 ! Like $50 is not enough for them. Above all that the way that they talk 0 customer service . I felt super uncomfortable and declined the service . Place with this kind of customer service don't deserve business! read more

This barbershop is a not fair with its prices and they nickel and dime you. I had my son get a line up, price said $15. My son paid the barber $20 with tip. My son left his seat for 60 seconds and he decided he wanted a full haircut which says $25 on the sign. The barber spent another 10 minutes on his head and said we owed him another $25. The barber said once you get off the seat it's a different cut. Wow. We ended up paying the money and will never come back. Not very good business to keep customers happy read more

The front of the building doesn't look much until you walk inside. This was my first visit (today actually) and the inside did a 360 on me. I didn't expect it to look like much but it was quite nice inside. It has a atmosphere that i like. I didn't have an appointment but they were able to take care of me as soon as they saw me. J.D. took me in. I felt he had a professional manner. Shook my hand, introduce himself, asked me how i wanted it, clarifying and verifying. He took his time with me which i do appreciate. Instructed me what to do so he may get to certain angles and sides. What i enjoyed most is the conversation the black barber (sorry man, i didnt get your name) had with the many people inside. Mondo has been my go to barber for these 2 years and his attention to detail and time he takes on my hair makes the 40 minute drive worth it every time. Walked in... Guy across the room asked if I had an appointment, which I didn't have, and I was instantly sat since he was free... Look like I was the only one that wasn't a regular but I could easily see why they were all so busy. Seems like every barber was conversing with their customer in their chair but really into their craft and took a lot of time to do the cut right. I left with a perfect fade and lined up as one should expect. I've been to many barbers and even had one at my stereo shop for about 6 months. A lot of them yap away as part of their job which is all good, but these guys seemed more focused on their customers haircuts. No over bearing attitudes or flamboyance... I just gotta remember to show respect to each barber on the way out as I see all the regulars do... It ain't always about big tips... I highly recommend FCB! read more

it's really difficult to find a good barber. It's even more difficult to find a good barber to replace your once was a good barber. I was referred to these guys by my cousin, he said they'll do a good job so I went with him to check it out. the staff there (some really young, some older) seem to take a long time to finish a cut or trim. While I can see some people calling this a lack of skill, I see it as once total attention to details. I went there a few times after my first, all with different barbers, and I could say they all do a pretty decent job. However, I'm still on the hunt for that perfect barber :-D read more

I'm not one with extra time on my hands. Ryan is my sons barber and he is prompt and quick with out making us feel rushed. The shop it's self is clean and well maintained. If I forget my cash there's an ATM right inside. It babysit so I take a few younger children with me and I don't feel like they are unwelcome. When I get my nephews hair cut there Ryan or Carlos are very patient. I recommend any barber in the shop. But prefer prefer Ryan and Carlos. I always call for an appointment because it an be pretty busy depending on the day and time. Ryan always is accommodating with my hectic schedule. Got hooked up by a guy named Juan, came in early on a Friday morning didn't need a appointment. He hooked me up with a beard trim and got me looking fresh. I've come here 3 times and got cut by three different guys each time it's been a good experience. They're pretty busy in the evenings and afternoon so you probably do need to make an appointment but it's well worth it. The insides pretty cool they got sports stuff all over the wall. read more
