Management sent a new crew the next day, rescheduled 3 times and showed over an hour late from final reschedule. Left in 50 minutes without addressing dirty floors, dirty sink, no window cleaning or dirty shower. Call a different service. read more

We're selling our house and needed it deep cleaned for the showing. We got two women who arrived on time and were here for about four hours. Overall, they did a good job and were reasonably nice. Here are the problems we encountered: On the way out of our house, they realized they forgot to clean a fan, and when they dusted it the dust went everywhere and we're still dealing with that now because they didn't pick it up and it went all over the couch. Everytime we think we got all the dust bunnies there's one more. They needed to do a window that they couldn't reach, and we gave them a step stool when they arrived but they still just stood on my couch cushions to clean the window instead. Lastly, we asked them to wear masks when they got here because there's a pandemic going on and according to CDC guidelines everyone should wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. We're in close quarters even if they're vaccinated after all. On arrival one housekeeper had a mask and we didn't mind having to provide a mask for the other one, but the entire time- until we called management about it- they kept the masks under their nose or chin, usually chin. When we talked to management they said something about how the chemicals were burning from the oven cleaner and they needed to take their masks off to breathe. But: 1) They didn't use any real oven cleaner, I have the NO FUME oven cleaner here.. And two- They hadn't actually started on the oven yet. On top of that, wearing a mask is a normal thing housekeepers do to protect their own lungs from chemicals even before the pandemic. They honestly just weren't concerned about their safety or mine even after showing up and seeing me on a feeding tube. After we called the front office they actually kept their masks on, but if masks are important to you you might want a different company. They did an overall good job cleaning the house, and I *might* have overlooked the mask issue since this was a one-time clean- but standing on the furniture and the fan making a huge mess made us want to go elsewhere in future. read more

Housekeeping was punctual, thorough, reliable and of course professional. This is like having your house cleaned by Hotel staff! The attention to detail is remarkable, things they clean you would not do yourself. Dog hair on furniture, dusting everything, spotless bathrooms, even clean the creases in the Patio doors. Awful costumer service, awful. They've screwed up on the schedule multiple times with out apology. The last cleaning we had scheduled they called to ask to change the day because they didn't realize it was a holiday, which was Memorial Day- never heard of a Housekeeping service having that off. But either way, after a week of having it in the books they canceled and changed to a few days later and then the day they were suppose to come originally they texted me and asked if I wanted them to come, I was out of town so didn't have a way to let them in and said to keep to the scheduled appointment and they said okay. Then on the scheduled day (the one they made me switch it to) they never showed up! And then when I called them they never got back to me. I have never experienced such disrespect for a persons time. We had people coming over and I worked all day and didn't have time to clean myself, nor did I know I would have to. And to not even give me a call or send me a message to let me know they had to cancel, or a call to apology, or a call back, I wouldn't trust this company at all. This is definitely the worst experience I've had, but they have screwed up before and I've kept going to them because I think the cleaning girls are nice. read more

Two very nice woman cleaned our apartment from top to bottom getting every nook and cranny! You don't even realize what needs to be dusted until they start doing it. They did a wonderful job cleaning and despite my original dismay, I would use them again. I wish that I could give it zero stars because I received zero service. I made an appointment for a Sunday at noon, and when they did not show up or call by 12:30, I called and left a message saying I had to leave. No return call. When I got back to my apartment that evening, I found they had never come to clean and hadn't tried to call me all day. So I called and left another message. These wonderful ladies rescued me in a serious time of need. I'd just finished packing up our entire apartment and overseeing our movers when our previously scheduled cleaning service backed out on the last minute. After days of packing, there was no way I wanted to give our apartment the deposit-returning clean it needed. Plus, my cleaning supplies had been packed. Stacy and her staff came in only one day after giving me an estimate, brought their own cleaning supplies and went to town on our empty place. I have to start by saying I just moved to the area and needed someone to do a deep, deep cleaning of the house I bought. I found this company because of YELP. First crew came on a Tuesday around 10 a.m. and they were a little early...which was a good thing. It took them all day to clean my house, but by the time they were finished I was really, really disappointed. The house didn't feel clean at all and I had to redo a lot of things. A lot of cabinets weren't even wiped down. Needless to say they didn't even have to vacuum or mop because I was having the carpets/tiled professionally cleaned that same day. It still took them over 6 hours. Fast forward a few days later and someone from the company called to follow with the cleaning. I was honest with him and told him I wasn't happy at all and was going to have to hire someone else to come and clean up the house. He called me right back and said they were sending another crew out to my house to clean it again over the weekend. The girls that came a second time were A-MAZING! They did a wonderful job. They were incredibly hard workers and the best crew the company had. They did get all of the grim off everywhere. The place even smelled clean, something that didn't happen with the first cleaning crew. I am so happy this company did the right thing and sent another crew over to clean. Poor customer service. They cleaned my house twice and did a decent job with the cleaning; although, I never saw them change sheets or leave flowers on the counter. They also did not dust the tops of shelves/cabinets or clean furntiure. Unfortunately, they charged by the hour and frequently were talking on the phone or to each other rather than cleaning. As a result the cleaning took more time than estimated and they charged me more than I was quoted. When I attempted to contact the company regarding the overcharge, I was ignored. I have contacted them three times and not heard anything back. I also was supposed to have a monthly cleaning and have not heard anything about that either. Be careful if you use them and be prepared to pay much more than you were quoted. Also prepare to have your concerns ignored. Like others have said, there were some minor communication issues, one was they were 20 minutes over the hour window they give you, without any notice, and the other was they went over the quoted time without checking in with me first. They took care of both of these issues, and the two girls that came worked their butts off! I had a deep clean, and it took them almost 5 hours. After reading several yelp reviews and getting a quote from this business I decided to use them for a move out clean. The home was empty and I had already cleaned it a few weeks ago it just needed some touching up. The two cleaning ladies arrived yesterday at 11:50 a.m. but waited till 12 p.m. to come inside and clean. I walked through the house with them and explained I really needed the base boards clean and everything else had been cleaned a few weeks before so everything else would be light cleaning. They agreed and said they would be there for 4 hours. I left and ran some errands. At 2 p.m. I came back to check the progress of the house. They were on the top level which is the level they started on when I left. They had made zero progress in the two hours I was gone. I was very nervous that they would probably go over the 4 hours but figured they would speed up knowing it had been 2 hours already. At 4:00 p.m. I returned to check and see if they had finished like we agreed for in the 4 hour time frame. Like I had predicted they were not done. They told me 40 more minutes so I left and came back 40 minutes later. I came back and they were still not done. I decided to just wait at the home till they finished. By the time they were finally done it was 5:30 p.m. I asked them about how the billing worked because I was very upset with the job and how long it took them to do it and they said I would get a call from the company before any billing happened. Today I wake up and check my bank account to find the company has charged my account for the cleaning service and never called me to discuss the cleaning before they charged me like I was told they would do. I was charged for the extra hour and a half it took them to finish cleaning. I called the company to discuss this matter and they had to call the owner. The owner only agreed to not charge for the extra half hour. So I ended up paying for an extra hour when I was told by the cleaning ladies it would only be 4 hours. I then check my bank account and they now have charged me again for the new amount but no sign of a reversal transaction is in my account. I called the bank which luckily they are monitoring the transaction for me but I am very upset. I don't feel like I should have been charged for their slowness and the fact that I spent my day checking in on them to make sure they were doing their job. Every time I checked in they were talking and moving at a very slow pace. I would never refer this business to anyone and I am very unhappy with the customer service I have received from them in the last two days. read more

I've been using several maid services for over the course of 3 years. I can honestly say won't use anyone but this company ever again. They are prompt, exceptionally respectful of belongings, and nothing ever comes up "missing" as I've had that issue in the past with other house cleaning services. I loved them so much I had them clean my mothers home for the summer as she prepared to move out of state to keep up to tidiness with showings of her home. Anyone you call in the office is always so friendly and helpful. I love coming home to a clean house with chocolates on my bed, fresh linens, and flowers left for me to feel as if a friend came and left a gift to let me know they care. Unfortunately, after nearly two years of having this company clean our home, we are terminating the relationship. The teams do not arrive on time consistently, they leave early, and they do not complete tasks as requested. More often than not, they do not vacuum/mop the back stairway (I've actually had to go to their car and get them back I side to clean it after they disagreed with me) and do not vacuum the sofa. Granted we have 3 dogs, which adds to the mess, but there have been issues with the quality of service throughout the time we have been customers. The reason for my post is this: two weeks ago the team was four hours late. The on call manager had said they would be two hours late (which was late, but acceptable because they had called). However, two additional hours late was unacceptable!!! I called and the manager was great and gave us a discount saying this would not happen again. The team then left 15 minutes early and did not finish the list. The next morning I called and informed the company that if this happens again, we'd find a different cleaning service. Fast forward to today... The cleaning crew never showed up. This is beyond unacceptable for a company and they have lost a long term customer. read more

First time using them. We have a vacant rental property. When I called to schedule a standard cleaning, I was quoted for no more than 3 hours worth since the house was newly painted, new carpets, and new appliances. I also made specifications as to what needs cleaning. I left several messages to call me if there were any issues with cleaning (in case more time or extra cleaning had to be done). No call or message back. Finally called to make payments and they charged me 4 hours of DEEP cleaning, which I wasn't quoted for, instead of STANDARD cleaning which I specified. Therefore, I had to pay more than what I was expecting to pay. According to our maintenance guy, they did a real good job. I don't mind paying, as long as they do a good job. However, they could do better with communication, replying to messages, and making sure they're doing what the client asked for. I may use them again since they did a good job. But, I need to make sure there's better communication. read more

Around 10:30 I called to make sure they were coming and no answer. The company bailed with not even a courtesy call and left us hanging trying to find a last minute cleaning on a Sunday ( hardly anyone was even open). If I could give 0 stars I would. Stacy and her crew are awesome! Just like the previous reviewer, Adrienne, they were 100% there for me during a very difficult move! With the way the closing dates worked out on my new home, I only had one weekend to clear out and have the previous home cleaned AND move into my new home! And to top it all off, my movers (avoid Father and Son Moving Co. at all costs!!) never showed, so I was forced to rent a UHaul at the last minute on Halloween night! But First Class Housekeeping was unbelievably accommodating and even came out on a Sunday (typically their only day off) to finish the cleaning of the two spaces! They did an amazing job cleaning the home I was moving out of as well as cleaning my new home that I was moving into! The move-out clean honestly left the home in WAY better condition than before I moved in! And it was sooooo amazing to walk into my new home that not only smelled amazing, but was SPOTLESS! I have also just recently used First Class for my first regular cleaning since the move and not only did they do a beautiful job, but I also was welcomed home with fresh flowers in my kitchen and master bath and a box of chocolates in honor of the upcoming Valentine's holiday! We've been using First Class Housekeeping & Maid Service for years without a problem until last November, the cleaners allowed cleaning solution from the oven to drip onto my hardwood floors. This completed strippedand discolored the floor. I am still- 4 months later- trying to get them to pay for someone to fix my floor. I email and then a week+ goes by and then have to email again. We have already gotten a quote to have the floor repaired in Dec and now they want to get another quote after waiting this long. Please if you care about the quality of your home, do not allow these people in to clean it as they will ruin it in the process. read more

I'm continually impressed each time they clean with the thorough job they do, as well as the small touches that really show they care. Our beds are remade and turned down, flowers are left in the bathroom and kitchen, soothing music is left playing on the radio. Stacy even turned on Animal Planet for our puppy. Our home always feels and smells clean after they've cleaned, something that means a lot to us after working all day. There's nothing like coming home to a clean house... Rates are reasonable - the first time cleaning is more (obviously), and then we have them come every other week. It's well worth the expense. I am super impressed with First Class. I have tried two other housekeeping services before. The first company did a nice job, but they were really hard to communicate with. They weren't set-up to handle emails, and texting back and forth sometimes got to be a hassle. The second company just did lousy work. They weren't worth the money. First Class has been awesome from day one. I have found them very easy to communicate and schedule appointments with, they are very flexible if I need to change my cleaning dates, they have been incredibly reliable (like when you have family visiting and you NEED the house to be clean when you get home), and they do a tremendous job. Seriously, they add that extra-special "wow-factor" that makes you really proud of your digs. I would recommend this service to my friends. A+ in my book. read more

The entire experience was a pleasure from start to finish. I had to make a last minute (day before) appointment but they were totally able to accommodate me. AWFUL! I called these amatuers for a cleaning over a month and a half ago, the cleaning was anything but first class, there was still dust on the floors and on the granite tops, not satisfied at all. And today, over 45 days from the original service, they decided to charge my credit card! I called up there and asked to speak to a supervisor and the lady on the phone said, we don't have any supervisors here, then she put me on hold and magically a supervisor came on the phone by the name of Stacy and she was very rude and did nothing to remedy this situation, or fix the problem, very unprofessional. This is a great story for how to NOT run a business. It's actually laughable. So, I scheduled a cleaning with this company 3 weeks in advance so I could have them clean my condo before a dinner party. They gave me the rate and I agreed it was acceptable. Fast forward to the day that it was supposed to be cleaned. I am waiting for them to arrive at 3:00. I receive an email from the company 10 minutes before 3:00 to call them. When I call they say that the crew cannot find my apartment which is unclear to me how that is possible in todays age of google maps and cell phones. Anyhow, I get a call back from them 30 minutes later and this is what they tell me, "Hi sir, soooo, it doesn't look like we are going to be able to clean your house today, does tomorrow work for you? Also, I spoke with the manager and it's actually going to cost more than we originally quoted you" ........I was flabbergasted and then repeated back to the woman what she just said, i said, "Let's just repeat what just happened so I can be clear", "I schedule a cleaning with you 3 weeks in advance, you then call me the day of the cleaning and tell me that not only are you not going to come clean but that if you do come clean your are going to charge me more for some arbitrary reason????".........I could hear the girl on the other end of the phone realize how wrong they were and then she backpedaled and said that she would talk to her manager . Long story short... I will never ever attempt to use this service again. It's ironic that I am writing this review because this is the first time I have ever reviewed something on Yelp and only did so because this company sent me a link to tell them how they did.... First Class Housekeeping and Maid Service is a wonderful service! I just started using a cleaning company. I am a mom of 2 young babies and work full time. I have no time to clean! I signed up for monthly cleanings, then noticed that I need bi-weekly cleanings! Stacy is the owner. She is great. She comes in and does an inspection of all of the houses that are cleaned to make sure nothing is missed. And she doesn't charge more for it either! They also bring their own cleaning supplies. Their cleaning supplies are kid and pet friendly. That's great because for some reason, my son will lick the floor! Her prices are great too. If you want a great housekeeper - try Stacy! read more

I'm super bummed that my last experience with First Class wasn't very good. They estimated it would take a group of two women three hours to clean my house, at $65 an hour. I was out of the house for a little under two hours, and when I came back they were already done. They managed to knock one of my blind opener wands off and twist up several of my other blinds without bothering to straighten them out. The house was moderately clean, but not amazing by any stretch. I was charged more than $200 for the cleaning and when I called to say that they were only at my house for 2 hours, I was told that the cleaners filled out their time sheets for 3 hours+, so that's what they were charging me for. They did say that if I wanted to talk to the owner about it I could, so there is that at least. I'm sticking with two stars rather than one because I've had positive experiences in the past. I doubt I'll use them again, which is unfortunate because I've been looking for a good housecleaning service. read more

We originally used First Class w/ a Yelp deal and they did a long, 4 hour, very thorough cleaning of our house. I was pleased with the results but disappointed with how long it took, considering we were paying by the hour and I felt the women were just gabbing away and talking on their cell phones the bulk of the time. Regardless, I decided to set up ongoing, bi-weekly cleanings w/ First Class. They come every other Friday and take about 2 hours for a basic cleaning and do a decent job. My biggest issue originally was that the women never came on time and continued to talk loudly to each other and on their cell phones while I tried to work from home, which I managed through. I have been using First Class for about a year now and I would have to say these days my largest issue is their home office and its inability to get scheduling right. They'll send girls at the wrong time or not at all and getting a hold of them is usually pretty difficult, which can be frustrating. If you're willing to work through these types of issues for a mostly reasonable house-cleaning service then you'll be set with First Class! read more

They took 4 hours to clean, and did a good job but because there was so much to do a few things were missed. I called and they came back and took care of it. Superior service in every way! I have worked with Stacy and her crew of extraordinary housekeepers for a few years now, and since the business opened. I have to express that the skills and dedication her crew of housekeepers is excellent. I have asked them to come on a bi-weekly basis, then a huge task of cleaning the house we purchased before the moving trucks came. I witnessed workers that covered every inch of our new house (it is actually 12 years old, new to us) and it made the move all that much better. Initially, they did in fact bring a flower and chocolate, but per my request, I asked them to stop, no need, we were good. Stacy and her housekeepers have a background in the hotel industry which serves them very well. Sorry to hear that a few reviewers have not shared this experience yet, I can only say, occasionally, as an employer, some work harder and better than others. I applaud Stacy for creating such a business that provides cleaning services which are excellent, and attempt to design a uniform standard for all of her housekeepers.
