To add to my panic, I had to take a flight later that same day. I went to iTech and spoke with the very personable Nick, who was certain they could quickly and professionally accomplish the malware removal, virus removal, and computer security remediation for both my laptop and mobile phone. iTech went to work and within two hours cleaned up my phone and laptop, which was heavily infected. They were courteous, responsive, professional, thorough and efficient. Clearly they knew their stuff. They provided me with a list of infections that had permitted access, which I then could provide to the Wells Fargo Bank fraud investigation unit. A one terabyte hard drive can be purchased on Amazon for $40. And all that's required to replace it is a 5 minute job of removing the cover and plugging in the new drive. So he charged me $100 for turning it on and off. I took the computer to Jacksonville and was charged $130 for the same hard drive he offered to install. My data was retrievable. My desktop was restored. The company reinstalled quick books and Microsoft word for me. Don't waste your money on this company.
