This is the first Yelp review I plan to submit regarding First Coast Home Pros and the various excellent services this exceptional company offers. My initial major contact with FCHPs, other than some past incidental scheduling for some minor pressure washing of a lanai floor, and vent cleaning for a dryer, was with Tanya [Ross], preliminarily and primarily, and later, Jessica. Tanya did the substantial amount of the first batch of scheduling for me. Both ladies were extremely attentive, listened patiently, and did their best to accommodate both my needs and my crowded calendar. My first significant request for services was for a detail cleaning of my townhouse following some major, insidious-dust-generating renovations. The cleanup required was extensive, and needed to be done fairly quickly so the townhouse's HVAC system could be re-started. Bonnie [Baker] was the estimator for this detail house cleaning, and certain other cleaning and maintenance services I needed. Bonnie is engaging, personable, knowledgeable, interesting, and very helpful. Actually, the list of positive adjectives describing her and her professionalism could be much even (embarrassingly I suspect for her) longer. The next shout-out is to the extremely careful and competent house cleaning team who performed the detail cleaning of my townhouse. My townhouse is not easy to clean. But, Mlan, the team leader, and the other members of the team, Amanda, Celine and Keishe, all did a superb job. They were thorough, and surprisingly quick and very efficient. They did their absolute best to both competently clean my townhouse, and inconvenience me as little as possible (as I work from home). I could elaborate more on my positive and extremely favorable impression of all these representatives of First Coast Home Pros, and the company who employs them, but I don't want this review to be so excessively long, it discourages others from reading it completely. In the future, I will have other FCHP's services on which to report (i.e. garage floor epoxy treatment, lanai floor and general painting (through The Painting Craftsmen, a sister company of FCHP), window cleaning, pressure washing, and window and lanai screen replacement). You can tell from these future scheduled services my positive experience with FCHPs has prompted me to commission a large number of additional services from this fine and responsible company. I'm not your ordinary reviewer. I'm a Charter Observer. I met Josh, the Founder of this (these) companies, when, quite literally he was a one (two) man band. It was Josh Kennedy up there, washing my exterior windows. For you see, he was just beginning. Perhaps he left a flyer on my door knob. I can't remember. Lucky me. He impressed me with his manners, his professional tone, his wisdom beyond his young age (I have boys). His work ethic, the reasonable price, the delivery, and the followup. It was not that long ago, and how he has grown. And over the years, relatively short, he has maintained that ethic, and devotion to the client. And he has diversified twelve fold into sister companies. So now it is my turn, to follow up. I would never call another company on the First Coast. And you shouldn't either. First Coast Home Pros completed the second job for us and once again we are very pleased. Andrew and James both came to the front door to introduce themselves which made communication with either one less awkward. All debris (leaves and shingle particles) was cleaned up from the paver patio and walkway and inside the screened lanai. At the end of the job Andrew reviewed what they found, i.e. a squirrel's nest and a badly clogged downspout); no damage was reported. The cost was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the work and the quality of the employees. Will hire First Coast Home Pros again. Have recommended First Coast Home Pros to neighbors who have also used them with great satisfaction. read more

I was looking to have some screens repaired/replaced on the roof of my patio that were damaged by a tree cutter who had attempted to repair them twice (unsuccessfully, because he had damaged the frame). FCHP responded quickly to my inquiry, came out, did a thorough inspection and provided affordable estimates for both replacing the screen panels that needed replacement and the portions of damaged frame. The installer was able to come early, was friendly and was able to fix the frame with fewer pieces than estimated. I'd already paid but was issued a refund by the next day. read more

I have an older dog who unfortunately pees on my tile flooring. Additionally, I have a dog door and my two dogs - one of which is a long hair - bring in dirt and grime, leaving the floors badly in need of a deep cleaning. I'd tried Stanley Steemer in the past, and have nothing bad to say about them. However, I was greatly impressed with Home Pros. The technician was on time, courteous, professional, and thorough. All in all, a great job. I plan to use them again, and for other of their services as well. read more

I was ripped off. I was charged $155.00 to replace an anchor bolt for a screened enclosure cable wire. This took all of 10 minutes. The bottom anchor was still in tact and only the bolt at the top of the screen needed to be replaced. I was told that they thought that more material was needed so they purchased it and could not take it back. I feel the estimator should have known what needed to be done and the charge for his mistake should not have been passed to the customer. read more

We had an old, weathered wooden fence which partially collapsed in a wind storm. We wanted to repair not replace. Joe from First Coast Home Pros came out, surveyed the fence, listened to what we wanted and gave a reasonable estimate. We accepted and the work was scheduled. Joe showed up on time, worked efficiently and professionally to complete the work and exceeded our expectations. We would gladly use them again for handy man work. read more

I have been using First Coast Home Pros for many years. There quality of work is excellent, they have a very professional staff and they work hard to get the job done. I would recommend this company -Use their cleaning services, monthly Window cleaning and power washing twice a year and now I have them replacing a damaged screen on the pool patio enclosure.
