I never had an auto loan with SchoolsFirst. I took out a $1,000 Classroom Supplies loan in 2023. Paid it off. Done, or so I thought. SchoolsFirst then reported a 30-day late payment to credit bureaus that their own internal records contradict. When I disputed it with documentation, they responded with boilerplate and declared in writing that they would "no longer communicate" with me on the matter. Here's where it gets worse: all three credit bureaus report this account completely differently from each other. One bureau is still reporting the entire account as past due, three years later, for a loan that was paid in full and closed in 2023. Same loan. Same furnisher. Three different stories. That is not a dispute. That is a data integrity failure. Then they mailed me a formal payment history letter, their own document on their letterhead, that described my Classroom Supplies loan as an "auto loan." I have never had an auto loan with SchoolsFirst. That is not a typo. That is a fabricated loan type in an official dispute response, which tells you everything about the reliability of their record-keeping.
