I lined people up to help at home, someone to plow, and snow blow in case of snow. Extra I have to pay for because my husband does that & we got 14 inches of snow. I asked about this very scenario and was assured by one of the owners that it would not happen. We bought 3 tickets used all my extra for travel tickets. I called Friday before they left for the airport where pick up would be and asked did we still have tickets. Of course I was reassured our tickets were there. The rest is like everyone else stated not until 2:00 the day of the game do they admit no tickets. This left all of us with no other options. I heard how hard it was to watch on tv but you could hear the crowd. Devastating for them and they tried to put on a happy face for me because stress is really bad for my disease. It can bring on a flare up. I feel so terrible. There are no words. Run from these professional con men. I can't believe that I could sell someone something that I don't have but charge you for it and not deliver. Many broken dreams froom this company.

We, as everyone else, bout our tickets and were assured "guaranteed" even that we would have tickets to the big game just 3 days before kickoff. The day before the game we were told that we probably would not have tickets and that we would be notified by 3pm. Shortly after 3pm we were notified that we might get out me tickets by 2pm on game day and that pickup would be at the stadium. We came to the realization that morning that we would not have tickets and had to pay $1200 to get into a bar to watch the game. I received an email on Monday saying that they had processed my refund and that it would post in 2-3 days. As I write this, it is Tuesday February 10th and I have yet to receive my refund. We've been to the Paramount many times since my last review, which I can't believe was so long ago!…read more Sebastian Maniscalco has come a long way since then, and he did play MSG. Unfortunately, he has gotten so popular we couldn't afford the tickets, so I'm glad we saw him here. This venue really is great, and since my last review we learned where the best seating is for comedy shows. We saw Jim Breuer for the second time here and had the best time ever! A friend got us on the list for the founders room which we went into before the show. This place is awesome! It's a really cool speak-easy with hidden rooms and unique antiques. The staff was really friendly both in here and inside the venue itself. There was a mix-up on our part about the meet and greet, but they took care of it for us and made it happen. It's unusual for such a large venue to have such great personal service, but that is how they treat everyone. The staff seems to have a really great time working there, meeting the audience, and enjoying the show along with us. This is one of our favorite venues on Long Island. Looking forward to going back for more great shows!

My friends and I had mezzanine seats which included waitstaff service, a nice feature. The sound quality was great and the theater is small enough that you have a good view even from an upper level. It was a pleasant experience, and I would attend a future show at this theater.

There are TVs above the lanes, which adds to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful overall. One thing to note is that food ordering is done through a tablet at your lane, and they bring everything directly to you. We didn't realize this at first and spent some time looking for a server, so a quick heads-up from staff would've made the experience smoother. Overall, a fun and well-equipped place to bowl and hang out.

I grew up in this town and really miss the days when this place was Melville Bowl. Back then you…read morecould walk in, get a normal bowling lane, grab an easy pitcher of beer, and actually enjoy a relaxed night out. Those days seem long gone. Now the entire place feels geared almost exclusively toward kids and parties. They only keep the black lights on, which might be fun for children for a while, but not everyone wants to bowl in a dark neon environment the entire time. As a parent myself, I completely understand wanting a family-friendly atmosphere, and I'm all for it. But this place has 20+ lanes across both sides of the building. Why not dedicate some lanes to traditional bowling with regular lighting? Getting a server was nearly impossible, and the drink situation was equally frustrating. The pitchers are absurdly overpriced and the overall experience just feels like style over substance. If you live in Melville and want a more traditional bowling experience, you're basically driving to Syosset or Farmingdale now. It's unfortunate because this place has so much potential, but it feels like it's operating way below what it could be.

"Oh, oh, talk to me some more You don't have to go…read more'Cause you're the poetry man You make things all right" (Phoebe Snow) I wonder how many people are most familiar with Walt Whitman because of the crucial impact his "Leaves of Grass" book of poems played in advancing the plot in Breaking Bad? Well, besides helping the DEA solve the identity of who Heisenberg really was, Walt Whitman was a pioneering figure in American literature--a poet, essayist, and journalist, best known for his iconic "Leaves of Grass". He grew up on Long Island, left school at eleven, and became a teacher and journalist. He served in the Union army as a nurse during the Civil War. His poetry innovated the way people wrote poems, using a free verse "conversational" style. Th Walt Whitman Birthplace complex has two buildings - a museum and the house where he was born. The museum has a wonderful timeline display that takes you through his lifetime with photos and text. There is a gift shop and a small theater on site, and you can take photos of everything. The photography policy is different inside the house, where photos are limited to just one room -the kitchen. Outside photography has no restrictions. What a nice slice of Americana hiding in plain sight on Long Island.
