The spa is insanely beautiful here! The moment you approach the building and see the zen garden out…read morefront you feel relaxed. Going through the automatic doors you can tell they put a lot of thought into the entire design of the spa. My friend and I arrived early for our massage so we could enjoy the pool. It was a beautiful day so we spent time at the outdoor pool. The pool is perfect! They have waiter service so you can get poolside drinks, snacks, and smoothies. When it was time to head in we put our robes and headed to the waiting area. The interior of the spa walking to the treatment room was beautiful. The water features are beautiful. They also have crystals all over the ceiling. My masseuse told me they literally take them down a few times a year and bury them to charge them. I'm not very into crystals, but if you are, I imagine this is something you would certainly appreciate. I really enjoyed every minute of my massage! This was probably one of the more expensive massages I have had, but if you arrive early or stay late and make the most of the spa it feels more worth it. The only room I feel like could have used an upgrade was the spa waiting room. I think some additional snacks and tea options would go far to just making the whole experience. I would certainly head back into the spa again the next time I'm at Nemacolin.

Nemacolin itself is a unique place. A luxury playground with a zoo, airplane hanger, golf course…read moregalore, clay shooting and basically whatever you want to do. However, while the spa was good, there just felt like something was missing. I will give it 4.5 stars if I could on Yelp. Not quite 5 stars. Price: $$$$ massages start at 300+ for 80 min and go upwards. Facials start at 250+ for men and 300+ for women and with add ons the price can climb quickly. Gratuity is added already but you can adjust after your service accordingly. Pros: very friendly staff, locker areas are clean. Showers are cleaned quickly after patrons use them. All the amenities you need to freshen up are provided and the robes are OH so soft. When you book a service, you have access to the pool, saunas and whirlpool. There is also a fireside lounge on the third floor where you can also reserve to relax in. Kim, the aesthetician that gave me my facial took the time to explain everything, was very thorough in evaluation of my skin and took my concerns in mind in her treatment. She didn't rush the appointment and made honest recommendations without trying to sell me any products. She was great! They have biologique recherche products, which provides another type of facial experience. Cons: really not too much. Would be nice to have a common waiting are for men and women, especially a couple waiting for treatments. Men's steam sauna was broken at the time. For the women's, there was a strong smell of chlorine in the Eucalyptus steam sauna. For such a luxury place, felt like these small details add up when you are paying 600+ for experiences. Likelihood of returning: high when at the resort again. However, it's not open to the public if you're not staying on the property.

I'd highly recommend this salon to everyone who needs their nails painted by a pro, or have their hair cut by a pro. It is just a good quality salon to go to. Pros- There is private massaging, tanning, nail salon, and hair salon. In the nail salon, there is gel nail polish, fast drying nail polish, and hand and foot baths. In the hair salon, there is hair products that actually work, soothing shampooing section, and books on hairstyles you want. Cons- It is expensive. And you will need an appointment to get in. There you have it. What's good and not good about Vintage Salon and Spa.

When I walked in, about 10 mins early, I wasn't greeted by anyone. There was one stylist blow drying a client, but no one else to be seen. I took my seat and waited. About 5 minutes later someone walked out from the back and asked what I was there for. She did offer me a drink, which I appreciated, and had me fill out basic new massage client paperwork. After the stylist was finished with her client, there was a lot of chatter (about the client) between the stylists. I thought it was somewhat unprofessional, but I ignored it. The massage therapist emerged from the back about 5 minutes after my appointment time and apologized for running behind. I waited for her last client to come out. And waited, and waited....and waited some more. He finally came out and then chatted with a few of them while I was still sitting there. The stylists/massage therapists were being respectful & friendly, but by this time, it was about 15-20 minutes past my appointment time. Thank God I didn't have any plans afterwards, or I would have had to cut my massage short. The massage was AMAZING and Tara really took the time to address and concerns I had. Even though she was behind, I didn't feel rushed at all. The room and bed were comfortable - heated blankets were on the bed - and the smell of the massage oil was pleasant without being overwhelming. I particularly enjoyed that when she was finished, she placed hot, damp towels on my back. Not only was this relaxing, but it was nice to be able to wipe off some of the excess oil before I got dressed. My only complaint about the room is that it is no where near being soundproof. I was very relaxed about halfway through my massage, when all I could hear was a man's booming voice in the hallway. That'll wake ya up for sure. Overall, I loved my massage and will definitely be back! I am hoping that my first experience here was just an off day.

Started with a back facial, facial, and lash lift and tint all by Louise. I've never gotten a back facial before, it was my favorite thing of the day! Part facial, part massage, it really covers it all. 10/10 Next was a Dazzle Dry manicure and pedicure by Abby. She was super friendly and sweet. I loved the pedicure 7.5/10. The manicure was not the best but still acceptable. 6/10 Lastly was gloss and haircut & style by Kiara. She was up to my "do whatever" challenge and we had fun with it. The two sweet girls that did my relaxation shoulder, scalp, hand massages and washed out and brushed my hair were so great! And I love my haircut! 10/10 Some notes about the facility in general: the driveway is very steep and can be tricky. Also since it's on a very pushy street it was a challenge to turn left. It was a very hot day and the driveway was literally melting! A very nice touch was a welcome gift for first timers that had some trial products. Something I didn't know would be a good thing is that the skin care (massages, facials etc) are in a separate building next door (you just walk across the driveway). What I liked was that it wasn't noisy from sounds of hairdryers and laughter from people getting hair & nail treatments. You could hear the road a bit but was not bad. Overall 10/10 place and I highly recommend!!

Staff spent a lot of time messaging calves (no reason given for this but no foot message which is typically given at other spas during facials).
