I thought this MLM front went out of business? Please, I would frequent a legit smoothie shop but I don't want Herbalife in my drinks.

If I could give this store six stars, I would! I've only…read morerecently discovered the Woodland location. I shopped in Davis for years. I love Woodland even more. First, it is rarely crowded. And if it is, they tend to have enough people working. I rarely have to wait in line. Second, it's clean. As in immaculate! This matters to me so much. The people who work there are extremely helpful. Employees will ask you if you need anything, even before you can ask them. The deli and Butcher area is wonderful. The food is fantastic and they are very fast and efficient. The bakery! Need a cake? Need anything? They can help you. The store is larger than the Mace Boulevard store but smaller than the Covell store. Honestly, it's the perfect size. I don't get lost and I can find everything I need. It's also oriented slightly differently-- it's not square-- which for some reason seems to help me find things This is my go to place for groceries!

I'm so disappointed. I guess it's my fault for not asking the price, but I paid $12 for a sandwich…read morethat was nothing but sliced sourdough, mustard, 2 or 3 slices of cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Twelve dollars. This same sandwich at Sprouts is 5.99 and has more cheese on it. I get that Nugget is a local specialty store, but this is outrageous. I also had the red potato salad and couldn't eat it. It was just not good, barely any flavor except dill. I don't know how you can make such flavorless potato salad. I'm sad and still hungry.

Monday had a completely different dynamic. From the very beginning, the staff was huddled by the juice press complaining about the music playlist and debating how & who was going to address the problem of the music playlist (or lack thereof - not sure which). Eventually, one of them acknowledged us and took our order. We sat down to wait and that's when the cashier walked over to the staff that was standing by the juice press and they continued complaining about the "playlist" or creating a playlist or something *I dunno* All I know is that one person was standing at the juice press and waiting for something and the other employee just stood there talking to her about the music playlist and who is "going to tell him". It was a full 6 minutes of us just sitting there. Nobody was even attempting to start my coffee order. My husband finally got up and told them that we are on a timeline. That's when the employee standing next to the employee staring at the juice press walked over to the Expresso machine and started to make my drink. Then they made it incorrectly, giving me only 2 shots not the 3 that I paid for. Then she proceeded to dump some of the liquid from the cup out and simply added another shot. This is wrong on so many levels. The coffee is delicious, the cold pressed juices are fresh and perfectly balanced. The customer service is hit/miss. Oh, and the tip jar is back front and center. Ironic that is is the last thing I was willing to do after the crappy service. PS Not sure what all the fuss is about the music playlist, BUT it's a BIG F*ing Deal for Mondays staff. Please address it so that they can focus on making coffee. Thanks.
