It is very cozy in there, so just know you might not find seating if you dine in. Customer service was okay. I ordered the small Health AF bowl which was sweet and refreshing. The price was high for the small portion. It came with a variety of toppings: blueberries, banana, toasted coconut, chia seeds, flax seeds, granola, and honey. The frozen acai was the perfect consistency as it was not frozen solid and had a consistency similar to sorbet. It was very sweet and the addition of all the fruits and seeds complimented the flavor well. The honey added an extra sweetness without sugar. The prices for all the items is high considering the small portions. The prices range from $10-$16.50 depending on the size and item. Additional toppings can be added at an extra cost. I come here all the time and the acai is always great. Service was pretty poor today. We came in because of the spin-the-wheel promotion, but there was no greeting, the cashier was chewing gum the entire time, and barely even looked at us while taking the order. When I asked if I could spin the wheel, she seemed visibly annoyed. Wanted to get something sweet after dinner (and support a business I previously attended a Yelp Event at), so I went to Acai Fresh after having dinner in the same area of Downtown Davis. They have three sizes, and the smallest size was more than good enough for me. It's a refreshing treat, but their acai is on the sweeter side. It was my second time back here after a year or so and I once again, really enjoyed it! I ordered the mango bowl since last time I was here, I ordered the berry good bowl. I want to try them all eventually. I love that you can taste the freshness of the fruit and the Acai itself is so refreshing. I really enjoy the flavors of everything that's mixed together. Great Acai spot! So first I've actually never had Acai and this single handily made me love it! They have three different sizes and many different types of bowls with different toppings. My favorite is the mango bowl. The fruit is tasty and fresh. You can add extra toppings like almond butter, flax seed and many other different options. They have a QR code posted at the counter where you can play a wordle game to win some discounts/prizes. Since we were already there, my husband decided to try the Paradise City Bowl, while I took the opportunity to check out the business. The inside is small, offering a limited number of tables. Despite its size, it was clean and well-organized. I noticed fresh fruit stored in the refrigerator, and the staff was nice. Chinyere, in particular, was exceptionally helpful. The bowl itself comprised pineapple, cashews, cacao nibs, bee pollen, toasted coconut, granola, and honey. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Signed up for the Yelp Event and I got a medium Tropic Thunder and my girl got the #43 Hunter Bowl. Both were super yummy and rich in sweet fruit flavor and the acai itself was creamy. Both were very delicious! I just wished that they put more toppings in the bottom to create uniformity throughout the bowl. Otherwise, they were generous with the toppings on the surface, but once they got depleted, it was just straight acai (not a bad thing lol). Our bowls came out after just 5 minutes after ordering which was nice! Inside was pretty small but cozy at the same time, with maybe seating for 10-15 people. Jacob rang my order and made my bowl right after I placed my order. I ordered the Healthy AF bowl(large size)- blueberries, sliced bananas, granola, almond butter, shaved coconut, acai. I added drizzle (almond butter, honey, almond milk) & shaved chocolate on top. Healthy AF gets an A+!!! The presentation and taste was absolutely out of this world. I fell in love first bite. There's no build your own bowl option, only preset topping options but there is an option to add on toppings for an additional 50 cents - $1.50 depending on the topping. Located downtown but a little more central, there's street parking and a small lot next to it. There are many different options and sizes to order. I asked what the most popular bowl was and the worker said it was the yolo bowl which is acai, strawberries, banana, granola, and honey. As well as the full moon bowl which has strawberries, cashews, chocolate, granola, and honey. I opted for a large mango bowl which has mangos, strawberries, kiwi, granola, and honey. I got a large because I knew I wanted to take it home and share with everyone because of how large it is. It is very nice and clean and sleek inside the store. I've visited Acai Fresh a couple times now and I do really enjoy their bowls. I've tried both the Yolo Bowl and the Mango Bowl. The acai tastes very high quality - not too sweet and isn't artificial tasting, and doesn't leave you feeling heavy, which is especially nice during the hot summer Davis days. The fruit also tastes very fresh. However, for the price point, I'm a little hesitant to go back. They've raised their prices by $1 or maybe even a little more since I last visited back in February. I understand that prices are going up all around, but it may be hard for me to justify going back frequently with the cost (~$11-$12 for a small bowl). A few observations about the staff during my most recent visit - it didn't feel like the store was overwhelmed with customers, but yet our bowls took about 15 minutes to be assembled, and I could tell that the customers that ordered right before us were also getting frustrated by the wait. We could see the staff going back and forth from assembling the same bowls to the cash register to take more orders, which got a little frustrating as customers were waiting for their orders that were placed ~20 minutes ago meanwhile new orders were being taken. I was a little worried about our acai melting as it was sitting in the bowl, though it ended up being fine. While we were waiting, I also noticed cans of spray coconut cooking oil on the back shelves which was a little off-putting to me if they're just re-packaging generic spray cooking oil into bottles for their "coconut oil" topping. read more

This is our go to spot in Davis! The staff are always friendly and have great recommendations. The service is quick and the bowls are great! My personal favorite is the YOLO bowl and my spouse gets the Healthy AF and adds peanut butter. The shop is small so there is limited places to sit, would love to see them expand so there could be more places to sit. read more
