Wanted to get something sweet after dinner (and support a business I previously attended a Yelp Event at), so I went to Acai Fresh after having dinner in the same area of Downtown Davis. They have three sizes, and the smallest size was more than good enough for me. It's a refreshing treat, but their acai is on the sweeter side. Service was just so-so; it definitely didn't compare to the friendly service I received on my first visit. It's a small interior, just a few tables inside and a couple tables outside. I'd say their price point is probably a buck or two higher than what it should be, but it's nice to have an acai place to go to in the area!
It was my second time back here after a year or so and I once again, really enjoyed it! I ordered the mango bowl since last time I was here, I ordered the berry good bowl. I want to try them all eventually. I love that you can taste the freshness of the fruit and the Acai itself is so refreshing. I really enjoy the flavors of everything that's mixed together. I also find it super interesting that they offer catering services. I would recommend stopping by if you're in the area and are in need of a cool down. It'll be the perfect treat to leave you satisfied.

Visited 4/2/26, I've been to Acai Fresh quite a few times -- their bowls have been perfect for the warm weather and are extremely refreshing with their cut fruits and beautifully blended smoothie mix. I always order the Moon bowl, which they make within a couple minutes. It's topped with strawberries, cashews, honey, granola and shaved chocolate, it's honestly been my comfort food for the past weeks ... *_* Service is always quick and friendly, interior is clean and casual. They also have outdoor seating, albeit a little limited, I like to take my bowl to go anyways. Honestly, my go-to dessert place in Davis. You must visit here if you're craving a sweet, refreshing treat! ^o^
I came here at exactly 10:20 AM on 7/31/2026 and my experience was awesome sauce. The worker greeted me and offered to answer any questions and was efficient. Im eating the bowl right now and it is so amazing sauce. I would definitely come back here

They also give a stamp card. For every 10 bowls, you get one free. There are some outside tables as well. The bowls are fully loaded and just taste sooooooo good. Have to try it to know what I mean! I've had this like 3x in the last two weeks. Also a much healthier option than other desserts.

Despite its size, it was clean and well-organized. I noticed fresh fruit stored in the refrigerator, and the staff was nice. Chinyere, in particular, was exceptionally helpful. The bowl itself comprised pineapple, cashews, cacao nibs, bee pollen, toasted coconut, granola, and honey. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Overall, we'd come here again, I just think we'd get it to go.
Signed up for the Yelp Event and I got a medium Tropic Thunder and my girl got the #43 Hunter Bowl. Both were super yummy and rich in sweet fruit flavor and the acai itself was creamy. Both were very delicious! I just wished that they put more toppings in the bottom to create uniformity throughout the bowl. Otherwise, they were generous with the toppings on the surface, but once they got depleted, it was just straight acai (not a bad thing lol). Our bowls came out after just 5 minutes after ordering which was nice! Inside was pretty small but cozy at the same time, with maybe seating for 10-15 people. Would def come back again during a hotter day!
Straight forward menu with options to customize makes it easy to decide! Lively ambience with music playing. Staff friendly and warm! Ordered the Healthy AF Bowl (added fresh mango) delicious! Large is perfect for sharing! Would come back. :)

I believe the largest size is about $19 but I shared it with two friends and we devoured it. The fruits are sweet depending on the season and the açaí base is perfectly sweet and not over powering. There are some seatings indoors and outdoors so it is pet friendly. The place is relatively small so it can get kind of cramped. I am definitely coming here whenever I have a craving for açaí!
They are usually crowded but I found a quiet time. Service was friendly and fast. I had the Yolo bowl and it was great. The fruit was fresh. No over ripe bananas here! The small size was just right. There are a few tables inside and some counter seating. Perfection! I'll be back.

The ingredients (like granola and coconut shavings) are fresh, the açaí smooth, and the portions are great! The staff are always super sweet and friendly and work fast! Location wise, it's at the edge of downtown but is still located near some primo eats in DT Davis. Also, sign up with your phone number bc they ALWAYS send $3 coupons!

Ever since I had the Hunter bowl here last time from the Yelp event, I knew I wanted to eat it again. After we attended another Yelp event at crazy D's, down the street, we decided to walk over here for dessert. I ordered the Hunter bowl again and shared it. It still taste good, just like the first time. It was a nice change of pace from the craziness of crazy D. There was a steady stream of customers coming here while we ate our bowl. It is very cozy in there, so just know you might not find seating if you dine in. Customer service was okay. It looked like they just wanted to take orders and not answer additional questions about the menu. read more

Ohhh my! If on my way to visit friends, I have this NEED to stop here like midway from my home, then YES, this place is that good for me. I love that this açaí store has almond butter and lemon zest that I can add to my açaí bowl. I get a small bowl and it's perfect for me and my hubs. read more

I tried the lemon zest bowl and it was super super yummy i loved it with the lemon flavor and almond slices. Would take out golden raisins personally since they make it too sweet but otherwise it was sooo good. Workers were sweet and fast, giving me and my friend a little bigger portion. The inside is clean and quiet but not the most well decorated and seated. read more
A great place to go when you're in need of a sweet treat that doesn't leave you feeling guilty. I came back to visit Davis for nostalgia and we ate so much. Of course we had to end with dessert and we found this little gem. I ordered the Yolo Bowl, which was topped with strawberries, banana, granola, chocolate shavings, and honey. The girl helping at the counter was super friendly and didn't rush me when I was squinting at the menu board (Their fonts are fine, it's my eyesight that isn't). The shop is a bit small, but you can't expect too many seatings there. We luckily were able to get the small table outside to eat on, which I wish there were more of, but obviously can't do it due to the space. The Yolo bowl was refreshing and I loved that they were super generous with the toppings amount. I actually appreciate the yogurt to topping ratio. I'm not a big fan of the yogurt, I usually like having lots of toppings with just a bit of yogurt for better texture. Great for a dessert or breakfast if you want some sugar and not feel guilty. read more
As someone who's a self-proclaimed açaí bowl connoisseur and makes a point to try them everywhere I go, Açaí Fresh truly stands out as the best of the best. What sets them apart is the quality of the açaí base--smooth, evenly blended, and perfectly chilled. It holds its texture all the way through the bowl, unlike many places where you're left with watery açaí soup halfway through. At AF, every bite stays delicious to the end. Even more impressive is their consistency--I've ordered over a dozen bowls, and every single one has been just as fresh, delicious, and well-made as the last. That kind of reliability is hard to find. The toppings are fresh, generous, and thoughtfully arranged, making for a bowl that's as beautiful as it is satisfying. On top of that, the customer service is fantastic--Noah at the register was super friendly and welcoming, and Joseph, who made my bowl, was just as polite and personable. I finally got to try Acai Fresh today! After a few days of rain, I took advantage of the drier weather to head to Davis. I was warmly welcome by Lee & Jacob(co owners). Lee was very passionate about making wholesome, fresh, and healthy acai bowls. He explained how the fruit are all fresh and hand sliced! He also explained how most places blend and add corn syrup to the acai (explains why a lot of times it's watery).... not the case here! No acai sees a blender! All acai is dispensed out of a soft serve looking high tech device. They have the purest acai out there!No watery, soupy mess. Same texture and taste throughout the bowl! Jacob rang my order and made my bowl right after I placed my order. I ordered the Healthy AF bowl(large size)- blueberries, sliced bananas, granola, almond butter, shaved coconut, acai. I added drizzle (almond butter, honey, almond milk) & shaved chocolate on top. Healthy AF gets an A+!!! The presentation and taste was absolutely out of this world. I fell in love first bite. I truly could taste the acai! When I got half way through, it was still in its creamy form... no watery mess! I ate it the entire way home. I was so happy! I definitely would get this bowl again! In fact, I'm ready for another one LOL The place was packed with customers when I arrived...Mind you it's December and cloudy today, not an acai bowl type of weather. I thought it said a lot about the service and the bowls! I can see why this place is so popular. It's definitely not hype...it's the real deal here! Acai Fresh is a small, locally owned shop. It's right on the corner of G Street and 5th Street. The walls are all decorated in bright, exciting pops of color and art, with bright lighting,. It was so fun to just be there! I'm already excited to come back and try another satisfying bowl. :D I am so glad I have finally made it to Acai Fresh!! The drive over was so worth it! I didn't used to think I like Acai a lot till I tried Acai Fresh~ I've visited a third time in a month already haha. I've only tried two different bowls so far, mango bowl and berry good bowl. Both are absolutely delicious and special in their own ways but I went back to the mango bowl for my third visit. What can I say, I love my mango, strawberry and kiwi~ Their Acai is sweet but not too sweet. I can honestly just eat that Acai swirl on its own. But their granola adds that little crunch and really levels it up! I also love that the Acai is not watery and melty. I can take my time to enjoy it. You can really taste the high quality! The place is clean and bright with a lot of natural sunlight. The service is super fast. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating of dietary preferences/restrictions. For the portion and quality I think the prices are really reasonable. A regular bowl is really a whole meal haha. I can definitely see myself coming here often! read more
Acai Fresh is the newest shop in Davis that serves acai bowls...They have been open only a few weeks. I came on a Friday evening and the place was not busy. The menu offered a variety of acai bowls which come with different types of fruit, granola, and honey. There were a few bowls that offered coconut oil instead of honey. You can also add additional toppings for extra cost. I ordered the small Mango Bowl, which had strawberry, kiwi, mango, granola, and honey. The small size was good for one (or two) person(s), but they also had two larger sizes. The mango bowl was so good! The acai soft serve tasted great and all of the toppings were great additions. The service was excellent and the shop was clean. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but not a lot of seating as it's a small shop. Acai Fresh has great tasting acai bowls. read more
This place has been consistently good the couple times I've been here the past week. I like to order their paradise city bowl, highly recommend if you like crunch from granola and nuts, and the pineapple reminds me of dole whip. I also get it with an almond butter drizzle. Honestly this place tastes better than Acai places I've had in the Bay. The staff is also always super friendly. Must visit for a breakfast/brunch (and in my case, lunch). read more
Nice to have a dedicated acai bowl spot in Davis! It's acai soft serve with your typical fruit and breakfast toppings. Full moon bowl: A Strawberry, cashew, honey, chocolate, and granola. I really like the shaved chocolate to add some richness to the bowl. Their granola tastes homemade and has some nice puff crunch bits. A regular size one was actually large enough to split between two people. read more

I absolutely loved my experience at Acai Fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed 05 Paradise Bowl. This delicious, fresh Acai bowl was topped with pineapple, cashews, cacao nibs, be pollen, toasted coconut, granola and honey. I ate every last bite. I noticed that customer service was excellent. I was well taken care of and the customers in front of me were able to substitute their cashews for toasted coconut. There's plenty of parking on the street. I walked and it was easy to get to. Once you are inside, you'll enjoy the decor. I loved all the surfboards. I felt I was closer to the ocean. I will definitely be back. I need to try 01 Yolo Bowl, 02 Healthy AF Bowl and 04 Mango Bowl. Please check this place out for a healthy and yummy option when you are in Davis. read more

This açaí specialty shop is new in Davis & it came just in time for spring / summer. Their bowls are pretty decently priced. There's no build your own bowl option, only preset topping options but there is an option to add on toppings for an additional 50 cents - $1.50 depending on the topping. I really like the açaí base & they are pretty generous with their portion & toppings!! read more

I ordered the Yolo bowl which had strawberries, bananas, granola and honey on top. All the fruit was fresh and tasted really good. The service was excellent. I was greeted immediately and as soon as my bowl was complete it was brought right to me. Cute little store with pretty limited seating but was not busy so not a problem. I would definitely return to try a different bowl. read more

I love a good smoothie bowl and was excited to checking this spot out! It's great that Davis has more options for smoothie/acai bowls now and convenient that it's in the downtown area. My mango bowl was delicious! Even the small size was enough to fill me up too. There seemed to be only one person working at the time, but service was super fast. I don't think I even waited 5min for it to come out. Only complaint would be that it's a bit expensive. I'd be more enticed to return regularly if they offered student discounts or had a punch card or something. read more

Excited to see an acai place in Vegas amongst all of the different fro yo places. I believe Acai Fresh is owned by the same owners as Yoloberry. Located downtown but a little more central, there's street parking and a small lot next to it. There are many different options and sizes to order. I asked what the most popular bowl was and the worker said it was the yolo bowl which is acai, strawberries, banana, granola, and honey. As well as the full moon bowl which has strawberries, cashews, chocolate, granola, and honey. I opted for a large mango bowl which has mangos, strawberries, kiwi, granola, and honey. I got a large because I knew I wanted to take it home and share with everyone because of how large it is. It is very nice and clean and sleek inside the store. I will definitely be back in the future to try out another bowl! read more
