My 8 year old loves baseball and wants to play so bad, but we can't commit to the 4 day practice/game commitment of Little League, and it's hard to find any other baseball programs around this area for elementary aged kids. My 8 year old was a little old for the 5-7 program, but Coach allowed him to still participate since there were other 7 year olds in it. He had such a great time! It was a very positive environment, Coach gave good tips to improve technique, and his assistant coaches were kind and talented; I think they were high school kids who play on teams. It's always great to see older kids investing time in the younger generation. I highly recommend this program!

I spoke with Coach Donald Duck (Doug), and he was incredibly kind and willing to come out to our neighborhood to host a class. Unlike other programs we have tried that required a minimum number of participants, Coach Doug's main focus was simply teaching and coaching the kids. His passion really shines through. He is wonderful with the children. He is friendly, kind, and even a little silly to keep them engaged, while still having the right balance of discipline. He teaches the kids to listen, follow directions, and be kind to one another. Best of all, he actually teaches them real skills for the sport. It is not just running around. He designs fun games that incorporate the skills they are learning, which keeps the kids excited and motivated. Overall, Phoenix Sports has been such a positive experience for our family. We are definitely planning to continue with them and cannot wait to try out the other sports they offer.

The lady Debbie told me "can you take your obnoxious child out of here because this is getting out of hand". My daughter was just overly tired and didn't need to be treated like that. Sally who taught the class seemed very overwhelmed with her and hardly had any enthusiasm. When I walked out to the car, Sally approached me and she told me not to come back which I wasn't planning on anyway. She was the one who just had a hard time dealing with an energetic kid. My son wasn't even diagnosed at the time. Told me that my son wasn't "normal" and even asked me if he was different after vaccines. This is how the conversation went. wife: we know an autistic kid when we see one, we've been in the business for over 27 years... you know? he's not acting normal... me: How does a "normal" 2 year old act anyways.. the wife: You want to know what a normal 2 year old is like, well he wouldn't be running all over the place playing with toys (we were in a classroom filled with toys) and he would be holding your hand right on your hip and scared because he was in a new environment. instant tears Told me they wouldn't be able to accommodate him in anyway and the wife asked multiple questions in a snarky way such as "can he follow simple directions?" "can he even wash his hands" "can he understand commands" "well we know an autistic kid when we see one" "what size shirt is he in" and then followed with telling me to take him off all sugars and put him on a diet.. left me in TEARS. The whole time the wife and husband (owners) were talking to me in the 2 year old class there was a teacher who was trying her best not to intervene but i can tell she was extremely uncomfortable as i stood there crying. After leaving and calling my sons case manager with early start there are multiple violations due to being understaffed and having too many children to teacher ratios. This happened August of 2021 and I finally got the courage to speak up after hearing about the incident that happened at the Rancho Cucamonga kiddie academy.
