Ok the service is walk to the bar order, and get drinks. They bring your food to the table. It's kind of self serve but a cool vibe. The building is super old and the seating is definitely not ordinary - couches, high tops and assorted groupings. You can even do outside in the garden. Seems to have live music on the weekend evenings, and TVs with music otherwise. Drinks were good, tons of beer option, and unique bar food ( dips, nachos, etc) We had a super flatbread (the Man Meat) Tasty! Drink each and split a flatbread, $42 with tip. We will return.

Spent St Patrick's Day here. Love the house and the decor. Rooms with chairs and couches for relaxed conversation. Outdoor tables, chairs and fire tables very cozy and relaxing. Food is delicious! Many options to choose from. Drinks were great! Staff over the board friendly! Will be back! Highly recommended!!

Found a cute nook under the stairs to enjoy our cocktails and food.

Walking up to this place was a fun surprise. It's a big Victorian style house and very welcoming. The interior was a little frat-ish. The rooms weren't lit very well and the bar in the corner looked makeshift. To say this place was casual is an understatement. The food was delicious, but once again, served in paper and plastic gave the sense it was cutting corners. It seemed to have a house of enthusiastic local supporters. My cosmo was wonderful! No Dewars for my husband. :/

Great spot for having a drink. Lot's of outdoor seating available so you can bring your pets and family. They have a full bar for those who want more than beer. We were there on a Saturday and they had good live music on the porch. Couldn't give it 5 stars because of the food. The food was ok, could be better.

We arrived at 4:45 PM on a Sunday and saw on the door that they close at five. We ran in and I said oh I'm so sorry. Are we still able to have a glass of wine? Crystal, the owner who was still on site, and Kristi, behind the bar were absolutely delightful and said of course! I had a Chardonnay and my husband had a Cabernet. Both were delicious. My Chardonnay needed a little chilling and the owner went in the back and brought out this concoction that instantly chilled my beverage. Brilliant! Not only are they friendly-but the space is beautiful, with elevated furniture & decor fitting of a very high-end wine bar, but with a very friendly and approachable vibe. We can't wait to return! I SO wish there was aclone of this quaint and lovely spot in Cary or Apex!

It was a little more upscale than I expected but I was welcomed with my sweatpants and hoodie on just the same. The staff was very nice. The owner (wife) was cleaning tables and spent some time answering my questions about the menu. The owner (husband) was in the kitchen running service. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. We got several different items to try. I was surprised that the prices were not what I was made to believe. The portions are very good for the price they charge. Now let's talk food: The meatballs were amazing. Surprisingly very juicy. Most places are damp to dry and you need the sauce. These were juicy enough you don't need the sauce, but the sauce was delicious. Not too acidic and not too sweet. That could be a meal itself with a side dish. The risotto was perfectly cooked, the scallops were the best I've had outside of a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. The Alfredo was better than mine that make at home (mine is really good). The Fiorentino is possibly my new favorite dish. Crispy and juicy chicken, great sauce and delicious polenta, and I don't even really eat polenta. We were impressed with all of it. The desserts were really good. The cannolis are awesome and the tiramisu is always a favorite. The chocolate chips in the tiramisu threw off the texture a little bit but it was delicious. I like a heavy espresso flavor in my tiramisu and it could use a bit more for me, but I'd still give it a 9.5/10. When the meal is this good, you nitpick every little detail. Overall, this is our new favorite spot. This meal was outstanding and I highly recommend it! 10/10 and WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I am compelled to remind every resident and every visitor to make this a "must go to and enjoy" place for either brunch on Saturday or Sunday, or for dinner any night of the week. Go for the amazing cuisine, vast wine list, and stay for the outstanding service! Recently, we have found ourselves trying not to enjoy just our go-to favorites that are mainstays on the ever-evolving menu. We have been blown away by the flavors of the large plate option called Chicken Pimientos. Don't let the name throw you, because it's not super spicy, it just has a nice kick to it with delicious potatoes accompanying the very moist and flavorful chicken. The way the kitchen team at Barcelona handles the preparation of the eggplant caponata is impressive and very unique. Other favorites on the tapas section of the menu recently are stuffed piquillos, corn zucchini bunuelos (think fair food turned healthy!), Wagyu carpaccio, lamb kofta, and pulpo gallego. Remember that their tapas offerings rotate in and out, oftentimes based on the season and availability of fresh products. The wine offerings are unparalleled in the city of Raleigh, and when you visit for dinner on a Monday evening, every bottle is half-priced. Can't beat that for a way to jump-start your work week! We tend to sit at the bar on most visits as bartenders Kira and Cameron truly handle their bar with a welcoming vibe and impressive ease. General manager Jed is a visible leader of this great team and makes every guest feel appreciated. Awesome job all the way around!

Classy but chill, the kind of place that feels welcoming whether you're on a solo drink mission or meeting up with friends. The space isn't loud or chaotic, which made it perfect for a relaxed drink and conversation. It felt like a local hidden gem rather than a tourist trap, and that's always a plus when you're exploring a new city. The service was great from start to finish. The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do! They gave recommendations, and took the time to chat and help them pick something perfect. Of course, I had to go with the espresso martini, because if a spot has it on the menu, I'm trying it. And wow, this one was good. Smooth, balanced, and truly the kind of cocktail that makes you forget you're basically drinking dessert. Not too sweet, with that rich coffee flavor front and center. Easily one of the better espresso martinis I've had in a while. Even though it was a quiet afternoon, the energy didn't feel slow or empty, just comfortable. It was obvious this place would be equally great on a livelier night, too. This is definitely a great cocktail bar that's worth a stop if you're in Raleigh. They do this eggplant pizza that will blow your mind. Paper thin lightly breaded and pan fried slices of eggplant atop a pizza with your choice of red or white sauce. I recommend the white sauce with a side of Pomodoro to get the best of both worlds. They've got this sandwich called "the cannon", which is basically a meatball sub on a pizza folded in half.
