But, if I did, I might go to Hibbett like the dads and grandpas I saw there on my first visit. I was looking for stadium seats (the kind you put on bleachers) for grandparents, and found some of the best I've ever seen, steel and heavy-duty canvas construction. I made two trips, and each time a member of the staff (all of whom appear college-aged) greeted me at the entry and pointed me in the right direction. The second visit, I signed up for the rewards card, which I probably should have done my first visit, and discovered I could have saved some $. P.S.: When I added the business listing, I neglected to move the map pin while I had the chance, so know that Hibbett is in the strip mall just south of Sears Hardware.

I was called three times by someone named Morgan but she couldn't ever leave a voicemail so it was constant phone tag to even set up a phone interview. Anyway when I showed up to the interview I have a guy's name, but I'm a woman. When I showed up, the interviewer immediately said, "Sorry, you weren't what I expected," and flat-out told me she had been expecting a man. She then went on to say that I probably wouldn't even be considered for the position I applied for, but we could "talk about a different position" instead. On top of that, she made horrible eye contact throughout the entire interview. Honestly, thanks for wasting my time--this could have been cleared up over the phone if I wasn't qualified or wasn't going to be given a fair chance. Offering $15 an hour is already a joke for a college student, but now I'm left wondering: I guess a kinesiology student isn't qualified to work in the shoe department, or maybe she just only hires men.‍ She didn't even walk me out from the back room. Most awkward interview ever. Regardless, I would have liked to be given a fair interview before it was decided I wasn't qualified within in the first 2 seconds of meeting. Caving to ideological pressures may win short-term headlines, but it erodes the trust and loyalty of long-standing customers who came to Dick's specifically because it was a one-stop shop for all sporting needs--including firearms. This decision is not only disappointing, it's a clear departure from what your brand originally stood for. I bought a set of golf clubs from Play It Again and after doing some research I realized that the clubs were so old that they weren't even in production anymore. Nevermind the fact that there was an additional charge at the register that was not told to me until I looked at the itemized receipt....the clubs were still too expensive for what they were. I went on marketplace and found a way, way better golf club set for less than half the price. I returned the clubs and I am in better shape because of it.
