Callier Thompson had renovated one of our 2nd floor bathrooms almost a decade earlier. I was more than surprised to hear they would send a foreman out to investigate the source of the leak. Matthew arrived to discover that after years of use a small area in the grout had deteriorated to allow water through. He cane several times to repair the grout, removed and replaced the damaged area of the ceiling re-sanded and repainted.....all done free for us! You don't find that kind of support often these days. The original project consisted of a complete remodel of a full bathroom in our 1920's home, of which we enjoy today as much as when the remodel was done 13 years ago. The second project comprised of a two-story addition with completely remodeled and expanded kitchen and half bath on the first floor, and a new primary suite luxury bath, walk-in closet, laundry closet, and covered porch on the second floor. The job required coordination with the city architectural review board, an architect, engineer, and sub-contractors, all handled by Callier & Thompson in a professional and timely manner. They had people to deliver. We called the person they suggested and he said he didn't deliver that long of vanity. I called Hoods back and the gave me three more people to call. After two more no answers the third one set us up with a delivery. They were very helpful and on time. I guess if you had a truck to transport it and people to lift it, all would have been fine. Not two 70 year olds one being an amputee.

Kelly is very inexperienced when quoting projects and will definitely bait and switch her pricing mid project, not to mention her attempt to nickel and dime you along the way. she agreed to a price and is now not willing to finish the project if we don't agree to her new price. I would not trust this company to build me a dog house, nor would I trust Kelly, the way that she treats those who contract with her is just unbelievable. Unless you want to end up in court with this company please make sure she is quoting you correctly up front. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Not to say I haven't had a few issues each time, however. The first major problem was documented in review 1. I made sure that I was CLEAR this time in the sink mounting. For reference, this piece of black honed granite for a a vanity console top, fabricated from a remnant for pickup (no install or measurement) is $750. Mitered edges are labor intensive and I get that. I was good with the price. My only issue is that one side is slightly longer than the other such that it doesn't sit flat on the console base. The measuring tape and level finally answered this for me. That said, I've gone months without a sink so I'm making this work and it's gorgeous.

I had assumed that it would be too expensive, and that it would not be competitive with Home Depot, Lowes, etc.. I could not have been more wrong. They had gorgeous tiles, huge selection and many items were in stock and on sale. The tile I selected was actually significantly less than similar tiles that I had looked at Home Depot and Menards. What made the experience even better was the excellent customer care. Rhonda was amazing. She was so patient, knowledgeable, and led me to the perfect tile for our project. I am looking forward to working with them again for our next remodel. Incredible selection, great value, and superb staff.
