Their pistachio-raspberry cinnamon roll and dirty chai latte and house-made syrups are so good, all five stars! But their pumpkin latte scone and empanadas were more four, and the activist-vibe is a little much, though I love the outdoor and back-room seating. Wouldn't come back but glad to try it.

First Village Coffee was a very nice visit. The shop has cool wall art, a quick/ artistic/hard working staff, and a much appreciated and well lit rear sitting area, which is where we sat. Even the restroom has cool wall art. The owner of the shop was dressed in a colorful and fancy hat. He had a great disposition and helped create many beverages...with a smile. If you're looking for more than coffee, you'll find muffins, sweets, and even oatmeal. Their coffee was amazing and were served in impressive mugs. The rear sitting area was relaxing and had large tables. I recommend this very busy coffee shop and enjoy your beverage and/or sweets.

Finally got a chance to get to this fine establishment. So happy I made it to this chic cool fun coffee house. Everyone is so pleasant and happy to work. Great seating area in rear of store Ordered a bunch of different things to eat there and bring home One thing better then the next. Had to try there croissant omg it was soooo crusty light and perfect. One best I ever had Also tried the mushroom cheese quiche wow so fresh and light. Blue berry muffin so moist inside and crusty outside perfect. Thank God this place isn't close to home I may end up 600 pounds. What a hidden gem. Please fine time to make it to this place there's no better bakery around Coffee to die for. Latte are perfect. Regular coffee so smooth and robust.

What a great little place! Excellent quality coffee which is a must that isn't always delivered. Well, First Village pulls it off. Exceptionally well. The food is also yummy. I got a pumpkin cranberry muffin. It was moist and had an excellent flavor. Crisp crumb on top. Moist cake underneath. The service was excellent. Friendly and efficient. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The decor and ambiance are inviting with a cool vibe. Relaxed and unpretentious. Really nice plants. It was a terribly rainy day and First Village was the perfect spot to rest and refresh.

Having just relocated to the area, First Village Coffee is the community hub I have been seeking. Often walking into a coffee shop for the first time can feel daunting, but I received a genuinely warm welcome (and farewell) from multiple staff members, which immediately made we feel like staying for a while. I noticed how the owner engaged with regulars and newcomers with equal interest and regard, which was a pleasant change from places that choose not to focus on building relationships with their clientele. The cro-muffin was delicious, soft in the middle with a crunch from the crystallized sugar on the outside, and my rose-cardamom latte was hand-delivered with care. Thank you for supporting this tired mom in her self care needs!

This was a great find for the area. A great cup of coffee, took the parents and sat in the back to chat. My mother has said this was the best vegan muffin she'd ever ha, and I tend to agree. Just super rich and well constructed. Definitely a chill vibe and a good place to unwind.

Looking for a quick drink and eat ahead of a little Croton tour and First Village satisfied! Cute little cafe, busy but no wait, street presence, all the right ingredients! Can vouch the "compost cookie" is that to a T - chocolate, fruit, nuts, whole grain, the whole package with the right texture and sweetness. We are very fortunate to have FVC in our Village. Their baristas are top notch, and I truly mean that. Today, for example, they were pulling shots of Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, which is a fine bean and I've had this pulled at the IFCR shop in NYC. The shot I had today was outstanding and better than what was made by the roaster themselves. This takes skill, caring and practice and the fine humans at FVC have them all! Home feel type of coffee shop which has me coming for more of... such a friendly and open vibe. Artsy and even their coffee/tea are creative with different flavor lattes to choose from. Vegan and gluten free friendly is a plus, too. If in town visiting, or rushing to catch the train or taking a stroll - stop by for their delicious treat and warm neighborly type ogreetings. read more

Luis has given the community a long needed Shot of delicious coffee and a welcoming place to be. Whether just passing through for a quick take out cup or a relaxing sit down and great conversation. The coffee is prepared with clean filtered water and attention to detail. Even the infused flavors are made from scratch. Pastries range from Balthazar to Baked by Susan as well as homemade local empanadas. Local art adorns the walls and the brick covered walls add a welcoming historic feel. read more

So happy this place opened!! It's my new go-to every weekend morning for lattes and pastries. The coffee is amazing, the pastries delicious (thank you for carrying gluten-free options!!), and the ambiance is really warm. It's the kind of place I used to frequent in Brooklyn, where people sit at the tables and do work, catch up on gossip, or just enjoy the quality coffee - a really nice addition to Ossining. And Luis is wonderful, to boot! He convinced me to stray from my normal plain croissant and try the multi-grain version, and it was so, so good. I'll be there every weekend, no doubt about it! read more

I go out of my way to come to Ossining because First Village Coffee is worth the trip. Their Irving Farm Coffee is delicious. I love the fact that they use paper straws and metal straws: no plastic!! Their single use cups are compostable and they'll offer a discount if you bring your own mug. We need more indy coffee shops like this in Westchester County. read more

The coffee is great here! The chai latte is delicious, one of the best I've ever had. Staff is great! The owner really loves the town and loves that his coffee shop is a community gathering place. Cozy coffee shop right on the way to the train station. I bought an iced coffee and freshly baked muffin (pays to get there at 6:30am) which was still warm. Both were great and prices are reasonable. Worth checking out! Street parking available and plentiful in the morning hours. read more

Great coffee shop with warm staff and awesome coffee drinks to suit any mood. I live in White Plains and have made the trip twice because it's the perfect atmosphere when you're looking to grab a cup of coffee and hang out for a bit. It's small inside, so seating can be limited, but both times I quickly found a spot. Excited to spend lazy weekend afternoons here, especially as the weather gets warmer. read more

This is my go to coffee stop every morning! It's exactly what Ossining needed! Not only is the coffee amazing every single time, but I always look forward to all of the amazing treats they have. They carry Baked by Susan treats, along with these amazing empanadas, croissants, oatmeal, cupcakes, vegan brownies, etc. They have an amazing selection. Hands down, the BEST coffee - not just in Ossining, but the Hudson Valley! Nice ambiance, art, and everyone is friendly. They make my cappuccino just the way I like it, and I'm a snob. It's also great that they have plenty of parking right across from their front door, so I know I don't have to circle around looking for a spot (which means my dose of coffee makes it down the hatch that much quicker!). read more

A home away from home. A welcoming sanctuary with a chill vibe. Love the art exhibits. They serve the best latte with the tastiest treats that are locally sourced. I have food allergies and they have so many gluten free and vegan options and they are always very careful with my order. Check out the open mic nights and enjoy a friendly crowd. read more

Anything is usually better than Starbucks but I was stationed in Italy in the military and this is very close to what you get in Italy...not whatever that ripoff Starbucks is serving up. read more
