Abington was desperately in need of a new breakfast location and First Watch more than answers the need. The menu has something for everyone and the food is very good. The best part of this restaurant is the staff. From the host to the servers to management everyone is engaged in the service experience and seems genuinely happy to be working there. We go to first watch every weekend and we have never been disappointed. The only things I would add is a bloody mary bar and more GF options. read more

Guys, come on, First Watch, oh ya!!! If you are tired of the same old breakfast menu, this is not what you will find at First Watch. On top of this, their food is out of this world. Try the million-dollar bacon; wow!!!! The only complaint I have is the wait to get in, but that says it all with how good it is, everyone wants to eat there and therefore the lines are long. I went with my friend to visit my sister who goes to Villanova and we decided to go to brunch here. The food took almost an hour to come out and when it finally did, all of our meals were cold. TBH for the longest time I thought this place was a sports bar. The name is kind of weird for the type of place it is. When my friend suggested we go here, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not the biggest breakfast person but I really enjoyed the variety of options they had! They even had healthy chia pudding and oatmeal which are things you don't see often. They make homemade juices too which was super cool. I've gone a few times and also have gotten eggs benny and eggs w veggies. Everything has been great. The only complaint is that the portions are small for the price when you can go to a diner and get double the portions for half the price. But for more of a nicer place, it's a good experience. I met up with my buddy a week ago for breakfast. It was my first time here. Our waitress was Bella. She was great!! Super friendly, always with a smile and knowledgeable. The portions are huge. I had a pancake which was the size of a large dinner plate and the Parma Hash. Both were great. I couldn't even finish it. The place was clean, service was fast and everyone seemed really friendly. We eat here often. Avocado toast with over easy eggs is my fave. Plenty of healthy meal options. Coffee is great! Pancakes are humongous!.. I don't order them anymore, can't even get half way through before I'm stuffed. Family friendly, we always take our toddler. Only downfall, a little pricey. I've never experienced WORSE customer service in my life. Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you because they definitely don't treat everyone the same. I waited over 2 hours for a pickup order and as I was waiting I double checked it was the right location, under the right name etc and everything was correct but after over an hour of waiting the staff started coming up with excuses saying they couldn't find the order then when they found the order they said the kitchen is now going to put it in then I was told multiple times " your order will be out in 15 minutes" until finally, a manager came out to say " someone else picked up your order ". That was a lie, I arrived right after I placed my order and waited inside. My order was never made and I never received it. I was never offered anything, any other professional establishment would've eventually brought my food out even if it took longer but I waited all that time just to never receive my food. I was never offered anything at all for the inconvenience either. They were so rude, weren't apologetic & were completely ignorant about wasting hours of my time. Had a great experience!! After awkwardly waiting to be sat while some idiot was screaming at the employees about a to go order that she had to wait for (on a Sunday morning in a DINER) we were sat and had a lovely meal. Our server Ryan was amazing, he greeted us promptly and kept coming to our table to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. He was very humorous when he was at our table which made us very comfortable. Horrible service on Mother's Day. The app didn't work for call ahead seating. I checked in with the hostess like the text message said and she said ok we will text you when your table is ready. I came back 30 minutes later to see how much longer and they didn't have my name on the list then said it would be 40 minutes. Instead of being accommodating and try to fix their mistake they put me on the bottom of the list. Instead I got the excuse if they are new and don't know what they are doing. Finally had a chance to try First Watch, and it was great! I went at 10:30 on a Saturday morning and although it was crowded, the staff was attentive and efficient. The menu has a great variety, and I was super pleased to learn many items can be made gluten-free ( they should make this more well known!!!). I had a traditional breakfast which was hearty and flavorful, despite being a "simple" item of eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. I am eager to come back again so I can try more menu items! read more

Came here for brunch couple of times. The service was always friendly and the food was a bit overpriced but tasted very pleasant.

I was excited to try this place because I've heard such good things from family and friends. First we reserved our table so when we got there we were seated right away. They have cucumber water and coffee while you waited in the front. Our waitress Sofia was very attentive. The coffee was hot and fresh and I tried the Summer Blush, which I didn't think I would like but it was so delicious. Then our meal came. It was a little slow service but it was a holiday so it was no big deal. The food was so yummy. Everything was cooked to perfection. I would say the best thing about First Watch is that they split the bill for you. This is extremely helpful when you're out with a large group and everybody is trying to figure out what they owe. Ordered takeout and called to specifically say one of the orders is for someone with gluten allergy. Great place to eat! Breakfast mainly we eat here. All of their choices are wonderful. I especially love the mediterranean eggs. I also like that they have side salads with their entrees. I was visiting the area for a wedding and needed a breakfast place that had gluten free options for my sister, vegan options for me, and a diner-like atmosphere to keep my parents happy. First Watch was great for all of us, and we ended up coming here everyday we were in town. They have Silk Vanilla Dairy-Free creamer for coffee and coffee available if you have to wait for a table on a busy Saturday morning. My family loved the summer specials! The Summer Crab Omelet was a fan favorite. The Summer Blush drink was gorgeous and tasty. Looking for vegan options? I personally recommend the Triple Berry Açaí Bowl or the AM Superfoods Bowl if you are looking for something refreshing and relatively healthy. If you actually have a dairy allergy, I recommend swapping the toast for breakfast potatoes. They are willing to swap gluten free toast for no upcharge. We will for sure be back!
