5/18/2026 Ya know when you just need a bite early in the morning before everywhere opens, that's where First Watch comes into play. I always heard great things about this place so I was ready. My sever Jessica was a breath of fresh air, super down to earth and very attentive. I got the B. E. C subbed for that million dollar bacon with potatoes and a morning meditation. Sandwich was huge for me light fluffy eggs, sweet colorful peppers and crispy ciabatta bread it was the perfect combo of salty and sweet. Potatoes side was just enough of a portion. The highlight of my meal was actually the drink the morning meditation was absolutely delicious and refreshing HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I saw some other interesting items on the menu so I know I'll be back. I was excited to try First Watch but the food was underwhelming. The hollandaise was slightly bland and the food was lukewarm. I wish there was more on the benedict. Some red onions or capers could have gone a long way. The service was just okay. It was pretty busy, and the server forgot some things we asked for a few times, but she was nice. First time I blatantly give 1 star and would guide zero, if I could. After 2 decades in the hospitality industry, I was skeptical when I was quoted 45 minutes and saw the lack of movement by those sitting, waiting for a table. Politely, we checked back after 30 minutes, knowing a quoted time is rarely accurate. To my surprise,we had barely moved and were told everyone being sat had signed in online. For those guests inside the door, waiting patiently despite the quoted time, this is inaccurate. So either they skipped around us or lost track. At the one hour mark, no longer breakfast, and the last remaining table waiting in the lobby despite choosing not to sign in online, I removed our name from the list and we left. Complete embarrassment on your part. No customer should feel ignored and disregarded. Shame on you. read more

Great menu and lots of options to pick from. What we ordered was tasty, but nothing that was wow worthy that would make us 'need' to visit again. Basic breakfast/brunch items. They have donut holes, but they were sold out by the time we got there. The sausage gravy and biscuits were good. The millionaire bacon was very much a fantastic choice. I would recommend that. The soup was good, as were the other dishes we had. You will have a good meal, but again nothing spectacular. They do not have a liquor license so no Bloody Mary's or Mimosas, etc. which isn't a dealbreaker, but just be aware in case you were planning on getting a cocktail. Join the waitlist option online before heading there! It is so convenient. Once you do that you then check in with the hostess. There wasn't an actual line and it was a little confusing since she was standing in the middle of the lobby area with an iPad. People came in the door and didn't realize that there were others waiting that were there before them. The lobby area is spacious so that was a great choice in design knowing there would most likely always be a wait due to their limited hours. Check their socials for time. If they didn't have the waitlist option online, it wouldn't be worth waiting 45min to an hour to be seated. Our server, greeter, hostess and the cashier were all very helpful and friendly. Very nice level of service all around. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The wait for food wasn't long at all. They itemize the bill by seat which made paying super convenient. The food was delicious as always, I got the Chimichurri steak and eggs hash which is to die for, and my girlfriend got the trifecta. We ordered the pomegranate sunrises to complete our boozy brunch and they were delectable. Today was my first experience at First Watch and while it wasn't horrible, it wasn't great either. The pros: you can add yourself to the waitlist ahead of time online. The biscuit was nice and flaky, and the turkey sausage gravy was well seasoned with a good consistency. The eggs were cooked to my liking. You can pay at your table by scanning a QR code on the receipt. The cons: our waitress wasn't very attentive. She walked by our table several times when my glass was empty and didn't offer a refill. She also got our orders wrong after we repeated them to her multiple times. She was getting confused so I'm not sure why she didn't write the orders down. The potatoes, while well seasoned, were way too big and undercooked. Overall I'd probably give them another shot, but this was just a mediocre first experience. read more

I was excited to try this place since it opened. When I arrived there was a 45 minute wait, unless you sat at the bar, so we did. Unfortunately they do not serve mimosas and bloody Mary's, which is a big reason people enjoy brunch. Regardless, it was still nice. They have pressed juices and teas and fancy iced coffees. Everything looks lovely, the food looked amazing as well. The waiter we had was so friendly and attentive for how busy it really way. I had the frittata with cheesy grits which was good! When you are done you either pay by a QR code on your phone or at the front. Which is different. Since it was a Thursday morning, I thought it would be the perfect time for a work meetup at the newly opened First Watch. Boy, was I wrong! The place was packed--apparently, I wasn't the only one with that idea, given the limited dining options in Bel Air. I put my name on the list and waited. The process was a bit chaotic, with people paying their tabs and others trying to get on the list, creating some confusion. While waiting, I noticed how the layout of the previous Red Lobster was changed to make the space appear more spacious! Despite the disorganization and the wait, the experience turned out to be worth it. The food was delicious! We started with the Kale Tonic and Morning Meditation juices, both of which were tasty. For our main dishes, we had the Tri-Fecta, Classic Benedict, and Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl. Our waitresses were sweethearts, and the food came out quickly. Stopped in to eat at First Watch on Sunday. It was mine and my sister's first time eating there! Omg! The service was awesome, atmosphere and decor was very nice and the food was delicious! We both got the 1/2 roast beef sandwich with roasted tomatoes and Gruyère cheese and the tomato soup. Was so delicious and will definitely get it again! Then we decided to try the blueberry corn bread with lemon butter. Wow! This was also delicious! Wished I remembered our waitress' name to personally thank her for her knowledge of menu items, friendless, smiles and awesome service! The specialty drinks were delicious also! Very much forgot to take pictures, but I'll put this very positive review up first, and will try to take pics the next time we visit. We've tried to eat here a couple times at noon (I work nearby) but it has been crazy busy with a wait each time we tied. Today there was no wait due to some bad weather and people working from home I imagine. The place is bigger than I thought. There is a small bar section in the back, with garage doors that I imagine open up when the weather is nice. Our waiter was very helpful. Four of us ordered different dishes, from two kinds of omelet, a skillet, and an 2-egg platter. All of us were happy with the food, and prices weren't crazy high as we thought. I have eaten at this location about 4 times this year, and frequently eat at First Watch in various locations, but today I had an experience that was so disrespectful that I won't go back to this one. I already had breakfast this morning but I went there in person to order a kale tonic to go. I paid for my order and waited patiently at first, but after 15 minutes inquired on the status. I was told "a fresh batch is being made." Ten minutes later, same excuse. At 30 minutes I pointed out that it shouldn't take this long to make the drink. This new restaurant offers a comfortable decor and is typically packed on the weekends during breakfast/brunch. Since we moved to the area, this has been our breakfast go-to. We've gone in-person and also had delivery without any issues. The Million Dollar Bacon is a fav of mine - you gotta try it. The Tri-Fecta is delicious - the waffle is light and airy, eggs are fluffy and the bacon is crispy (not too salty). The Multigrain pancakes are quick pick, as well. Let's be honest, this restaurant opened two weeks ago, the diner closed this year, and people are flooding to try it, the wait is horrendous right now, but it is not their fault. But guess what? You can JOIN THE WAITLIST ONLINE! If you join and it says 20-45 minutes, plan on 1-1-5 hours. Come to this restaurant knowing you will wait, but stop rating them poorly because everyone wants to try it. Great atmosphere. Food is good. The Get-In-Line App works well on a Saturday. It's efficient. We arrived at the restaurant and waited for only 5 minutes. Service varies depending on who the wait staff is. My wife was still eating and the waiter dropped off the check and cleared my plate, which I did not appreciate. One thing they must improve on is cleanliness on their water glasses. I watched how the staff rinse the glasses and it's disgusting. We have been to this location at least a dozen times since it has opened with no real issues, but today was a bit ridiculous. We understand that sometimes things get busy, especially on a Sunday afternoon and we are happy to wait patiently for food, a table, etc. There was a bit of a wait upon arrival today, no big deal after about 25-30 minutes we were sat (we checked in online so most people waited longer) but once we were sat at the table, no server greeted us for at least 20 minutes, and once one did she never even brought us drinks, it came out with the food, We sat unattended for 45 minutes before WATER was even given to us, and we only got it because we asked someone passing by for a manager. One of the orders was also incorrect and had to be asked for it to be corrected. The manager was very sweet and apologized and brought us water herself.
