My first time here and I tried the lamb chops. I did a to-go order because I was honestly just passing through the area and decided to go in and try it out and I'm sooo HAPPY that I did. The lamb chops were meaty, and seasoned just right. The lamb chops came with a salad and I ordered rice as well. The ambiance was beautiful, the upholstery on the chairs were so pretty and the styling of the restaurant in general was very pretty. The service was amazing ! I'll definitely be returning to dive-in.

Never disappoints and never skimps on the freshness!! Fresh herbs and spices beautifully garnished in all the buffet offerings. Wish I had a bigger stomach. Relaxed to background indian music and enjoyed some Champions League Soccer too! A+

Absolute best Indian food I've had. NOT JUST in Maryland. In the USA. Got the goat curry. My coworker got the chicken Vindaloo. Both were absolutely cooked authentically. No shortcuts here. Had cardamom seeds and whole star anise in the stewed sauce. Tasmania rice with turmeric ever so slightly accented. 6/5 would return.

Great food and drink on a cold snowy day. I've been eyeing this place for a while for the buffet style line up advertised online but I ended up trying a few dishes. I enjoyed the wide array of drinks including a mocktail list. I tried the blueberry sparkler which had the perfect amount of sweet with a few gummy worms to garnish the top lol. My server ( it says mani on the receipt but I'm sure it was another name) was funny and attentive, checking on me every so often to see if I needed anything. Starting with an appetizer of Panni poori/ Golgapappa I've been seeing on my fyp I just had to give em a try. The crispy shells you fill up with a cold mixture the raw onion and spices gave it a full flavor with a mixture to pour over gave it a refreshing kick. My main dish garlic naan (nice full pieces for one serving)and the curry goat that was delicious and fell right off the bone! I love that you have the option to pick a spice level (mines was 8 and I loved it). Overall everything was great clean bathrooms and family style seating for big groups. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of what this restaurant has to offer

Came here a last week and was thoroughly impressed by the Mint Room. I thought the dining room was really cute. We came in for dinner, I will say they keep the buffet containers set up all day even though the buffet is only offered during lunch time. We ordered drinks: I got a regular lemonade while my husband got the spicy special lemonade drink (can't remember the name). My lemonade was good but his drink was .... interesting. He liked it but he is more adventurous than me...it was too spiced like gingery. We ordered the samosa, they were okay nothing to write home about. They tasted freshly made. Then we got our entrees and the bread basket. For $15 they give you A LOT of naan and bread. I think this is only worth it if you have 3+ people. I ordered the paneer tikka masala. It was absolutely delicious. A little sweet and at a 4 spicy I could have done a little spicier. They give you a generous portion of rice with your entree which I also appreciate. I really like this place but I took a star off cause I felt like at the end I got hounded to do a review. I really dislike when restaurants do that. It just makes me feel uncomfortable. I think saying it once is enough.

I cannot believe how INCREDIBLE absolutely EVERYTHING was! My husband and I were not familiar with Indian food at all, and we had the best service who was able to recommend perfect dishes. We started with the sampler appetizer. Loved everything on the plate and getting to try multiple things. Then for our entrees, we split three between the four of us and it was the perfect amount. We got the king shrimp - suggested by our server and it was amazing and slightly sweet. We also got a lamb dish I don't remember the name of, and butter chicken. This is the perfect place for people who love Indian food, and also the people who have never tried it and are willing to try something new. Tell your server if you aren't sure what to get and they can make suggestions. Oh, and get the garlic naan!

Complimentary birthday cake. It was moist, dense, chocolatey, and rich! Perfect end to an amazing dining experience

Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 5 out of 5 Food quality - 5 out of 5 Last year I mentioned to my wife that I wanted to eat here for my birthday, but she wasn't interested so she picked a different place. Eventually, and by eventually I mean one year later, she felt bad about not taking me to the place I chose for my special day (as she should, lol). Happy wife, happy life, right? All jokes aside, this dining experience was incredible!! As amazing as the food was, the customer service is what really won me over. I cannot express how wonderful the staff was, from the time we arrived, until the time we left. They took their time explaining the menu to us, they took our sons allergies very seriously, and they even brought us a few items we didn't order, just out of generosity! What a pleasant surprise! The restaurant was not crowded so we were sat immediately. Appetizers arrived quickly, and the main entrees also did not take a long time. We were excited to try our food because the smell throughout the restaurant alone was satisfying. Atmosphere was great. Restaurant was quiet, clean, and had well lighting. The quality of the food was phenomenal! Very flavorful, aromatic, colorful, and refreshing. The prices are noticeably higher than other Indian restaurants, so just take that into consideration if you decide to dine here. I personally think that the prices are worth it. The dining experience here is a lot better then other Indian restaurants. Newer building, better lighting, better smell, and better overall feel. With a perfect score of 25 out of 25 stars, I give this restaurant an A+ I will definitely return soon

For your pleasure and satisfaction, go to The Mint Room. I had the Samosa Chaat and the Punjab Curry Goat. The Samosa Chaat WAS AWESOME!!! Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the Samosa because I couldn't wait to dig in. The Mango Lassi was our drink of choice and met our expectations. The service was great; the host was patient with us in making up our minds and helpful in shedding light on our selections. A great experience overall. We will be going back.

Back for another Sunday lunch buffet, sensational food as always and very friendly staff! We happened to pop in when there was a birthday party, fun time!

Large naan selection. I had it with ground lamb. It came with 2 dipling sauces, green and brown, both good

The server asked if we wanted to order from the menu or the lunch buffet. I had no idea what was being served at the lunch buffet, but I knew for sure I wanted to taste the curry goat. The curry goat as an entree was $19.99, and the lunch buffet was $17.99. The server suggested that my husband and I try the buffet so we could taste everything, and that we order from the menu next time I visit. I'm so happy she suggested that. The menu itself was big and it had so many things to chose from . Now lets talk about this lunch buffet, but before I do that, let me share that, I shared with the server that I didn't want to go look at the buffet options because I didn't want to look at the food and others get the wrong idea, so she took the liberty of walking me to the buffet and showing me each item, detailing what it was and the flavor it encompassed, I can't express how much I appreciate her doing that. The buffet menu had so many great options, including chicken masala, curry goat, and so much more. The curry goat was my favorite, the meat was so tender and the flavors were infused perfectly. The rice, the noodles and every single item that I tasted, was absolutely delicious! The service was awesome, our server was attentive, courteous and very pleasant. The restaurant was well-kept and tidy.

My order was for chicken tiki masala, basmati rice, garlic naan, cheese naan, and a side of tiki masala sauce. The order came as quick as it would allow - with my ordering right at open. I must say - this food was very good. The chicken tiki masala I ordered at a 3/10 heat level and it had just that - a nice spice to it without burning my face off. The chicken chunks were nice and tender - and the extra side of the sauce was perfect for dipping. The naan. I think I could eat naan everyday of my life. Fluffy flatbread that hugs the chicken and extra sauce, and the garlic and cheese variants were so damn good. Wow. The basmati rice was standard - which is a good thing and paired nicely with the tiki masala. Overall - damn good. Must have - whether you're a first timer or a seasoned Indian food person.

Im not a buffet kind of person but I have taken part in this buffet previously when the doors open as I can see patrons visiting such. This has been my favorite AUTHENTIC HALAL Indian restaurant. Unfortunate for me its across town and with traffic could be almost 2 hour travel round trip. I ordered the tandoori chicken (mild) with spinach and an order of the vegetable samosas. While waiting I spoke about the items on the buffet menu to someone I was speaking with and to my surprise I was given a bowl of curry chickpea (I enjoyed in the past). The service and attentiveness has always been great. Today was no different. During my wait for my order to be prepared I was offered a beverage and my selection was cold water. My order came out within reasonable time and hot. The vegetable samosas did not stand a chance once I got into the car. They were with thw right crisp, authentic spices and mix of tasty potatoes and peas dipped into the "green" sauce. I then indulged in the curry chickpeas and as one could imagine they didnt stand a chance beyond the car. Most delish. Once I got home, my tandoori chicken after travelling in the mad ttaffic across town; food was still hot. The portion size is always enough for 2 meals for me. I plated my meal on to anotger plate and enjoyed every bite of the authentic dish with juicy tender grilled chicken and fresh sliced cucumbers, onions and carrots. Over rice. Prices, like everywhere else, has taken a hike. I use to pay $16-$18 for the tandoori meal and its $22 now. The samosas use to be $5 and I think they are $7. I knew in the past the lamb meal took a drastic jump increase in price and that strayed me from purchasing but the portions of would can be justified for some of the cost. I dont remember a bad experiece here. I definitely will continue visiting this establishment for my Indian cuisine fix.

The name "Sangam," which means "meeting and getting along," evokes the spirit of mutual trust inspired by a classic Indian film of the same name. This romantic notion sets the stage for a delightful culinary experience. Upon entering, you might not find opulence, but the restaurant exudes a cool, neat vibe. The ambiance is unpretentious, with two diligent South Indian girls serving food with a warm smile, creating a welcoming environment. The menu is a treasure trove of South Indian dishes, many of which may seem unfamiliar, especially for those from a Punjabi or Pakistani background. Though the choices can be overwhelming, the restaurant is particularly renowned for its Masala Dosa--a must-try for any visitor. Here are some of our favorite selections: Sukha Goshat: A flavorful dish reminiscent of bhuna meat, prepared with an array of spices, served alongside naan or paratha--perfect for a satisfying meal. Biryani: Their biryanis are noteworthy, bursting with rich flavors that stand out. Appetizers: We often start with Chicken 65 or Fish Chilli. The tangy, spicy Chicken 65 has a unique flavor that distinguishes it from typical offerings at Indian restaurants. If you ever plan to visit Sangam, I'd love to join you for this delightful culinary adventure!
