What a fantastic place to have breakfast. We come here every Saturday morning after our walk in the park with our 2 dogs. We sit outside with them in a carriage and it is always such a pleasant experience. The Servers always greet us with a smile. The food is excellent and the service is top notch and its very clean. This used to be a great restaurant. Today it was a nightmare beginning to end. After placing our order we waited almost 30 minutes for the first two dishes to come out. One was ice cold. Called the manager over and he took the cold dish away. Minutes later the third dish came out and the food runner had no clue what dish she brought out. A replacement dish was brought out for the cold one. This time it was overcooked. The fourth dish remained missing. It was finally brought out when two people finished eating. On my day off I usually go to Metro Diner but one of my co workers said this was her favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. Well for service if I could give them a minus I would. It was fairly busy but not overly so. Arrived and no one at the hostess stand, over 5 minutes go by and finally someone comes and offers me a table. From there I never had an assigned waiter! First time in my dining experience that has ever happened. People that arrived after I did and having their orders tsken. About 10 minutes later a guy sees me sitting, (maybe manager?) takes my order. Drops off water no straw or silverware. Then another guy appears about 5-10 minutes later with my order. I ate and finished up and then sat again, no waiter. Finally young woman asked I needed my check and brought it for me. I paid left and scratching my head. read more

I've been coming to this First Watch for a couple of months now, since it reopened, and I friggin love it. I always struggle with what to get and the servers are always super helpful in making suggestions. The million dollar bacon is always a must and I love that the servers even know me well enough now to bring my iced coffee without having to ask. Christian the manager is always really nice and recognizes me and my friends and greets us as if he were one of the gang. This has become our weekend tradition and I love it! read more

I had the breakfast tacos which were really good, and the am super foods bowl was absolutely amazing. But the service was some of the worst service I've ever received in my life. The server took our order and never checked back on us. My tacos were missing ingredients (avocado on top which makes the taco) and my boyfriend never got his bacon or fruit. After sitting for 5 minutes we had to flag down a different server for our missing items, and then after another 5 minutes I had to walk inside (we sat outside) to ask the host for our missing items because we still didn't receive them. My boyfriend finished his entire omelette before I could begin to eat my tacos due to the missing avocado. A different server brought the bacon, fruit and avocado. We were just about done with our food before our server ever came back to check on us. I don't remember her name but if I was ever sat in her section again I would ask to be moved. read more

I like this place the food was pretty good and my server was awesome. I give it only three stars due to the fact that it took a whole hour to receive our food and this was before it got busy. We ordered the Avacado toast which was pretty good except for not having any seasoning, and a side of biscuits with gravy. The biscuits themselves were good and soft but the gravy was just a weird texture and flavor for me personally. I guess I expected more of a southern gravy but it was nowhere near that. This is the newest of the First Watch locations in Broward County. The inside layout is exceptionally nice and bright, with a lot of windows and therefore natural light. There's actually a few nice outdoor tables too, underneath shade umbrellas. So far the service is helpful and friendly, just like the Plantation locations. The food, reliably good as always. Someone else below said that First Watch doesn't have much vegan or vegetarian options. But that isn't accurate. There are some vegetarian options for sure and some can definitely be veganized if you just ask. The First Watch menu is much better for that than 99% of breakfast restaurants around. Veg menu examples at First Watch: fruit with coconut milk chia pudding, avocado toast (with or without eggs) potatoes on the side, veggie burger, grilled veggie sandwich. It would be nice however if First Watch would, in the near future, (1) add scrambled tofu as a breakfast option and (2) start marking items that are definitely vegan on the menu. Meanwhile, I highly recommend visiting this First Watch location. But remember to check in ahead on Yelp because the wait for tables on weekends is always long, best to get on the waiting list before you leave your house or even earlier. read more

This a chain restaurant so the atmosphere is the shape at all locations. Nice clean layout . I got here as soon as they opened at 7. I ordered my usual and had a problem with my order . This was not my first time at this location and a woman so happen to come by and ask us how was everything . I hesitated and told her things were great and she was so nice and professional and just really trying to pull the truth out of my experience bc I hesitated when I answered bc I didn't want to complain . I figured today was just a bad day . She listened to my problem of my meal being over cooked and Told me she would handle it. She was not even our waiter! Talk about AMAZING customer service . Last time I saw her she had the same aim to please personality my last two visits ago. Today out topped it all! Every time I come I have alterations to my meal so its bound to be a mistake and this woman was so nice and clam about rectifying all issues . This company should be very proud to have employees like her. This is what drives guest loyalty . Even if I wanted to visit the location in sawgrass her persistence and since of genuine care definitely wants me to come back to this location and ask for her ! First Watch is my favorite place for breakfast brunch and lunch. Have to say that everyone is so friendly and courteous and anything that I have ordered has come out perfectly. Luv all the servers there but my favorite is Lisa. She knows most of my orders and always brings out my Kale drink when I am seated. I used the app and was on the waitlist when all of a sudden my wait place disappeared I went to the hostess and she said she was sending notifications which I never received. I have no idea what the food here is like. We arrived about 1PM on a weekday. The restaurant was half full. The manager was preoccupied with cashing guests out at the front register. We and three other parties gathered helplessly at the front door, staring at our shoes, un-greeted, for ten minutes. Wait staff circulated here and there with plates of pancakes.
