Great food. Parking is free and surrounds 3/4 of the restaurant. We were told it was a 20 min wait to be seated. Lucky us, it was only 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and had a "play" area with checkers and tic tac toe. As an appetizer, we shared the cheddar scones and loved them. We moved on to the Spanish Potato Omelette and the Daily Grind. The Spanish omelet was a bit smaller than expected. The Daily Grind was delicious. We will be back to try other items. Our friends invited us here when we came in town and we had such a great time. Staff was so friendly and gave us such great service and recommendations. All the food was fresh and came our really quick. The restaurant was clean and everyone was professional!

Decent brunch spot with a large menu and variety of different items to choose from. The food didn't wow me though. Something was missing from the taste profile. Great location and customer service, but definitely overhyped in my opinion.

I fell in love with the menu, which featured Christmas beverages / desserts and elevated brunch dishes. The interior was lovely with a welcome ambiance. My group and I were given cozy booth seating. For my drink, I just had to get the Ferrerro Rocher Latte, which was hazelnut praline flavor with a candied hazelnut rim and an actual Ferrerro Rocher chocolate on the side. This was comforting, warm and creamy, with strong hazelnut taste. The hazelnut rim added to the richness of the coffee. It was difficult to decide what to order, but finally went with Skillet Potatoes with pulled pork, and egg with tomato based sauce. The egg was fried over hard and well made. The pulled pork was tender, slightly sweet, juicy, and well seasoned. Potatoes were hearty and cooked perfectly. Service was solid. Our waitress was friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. We all enjoyed a wonderful meal here.

If you want a spot that feels like you've stepped away from the chaos of running around town, this is it. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, almost like being out in the countryside. Everyone was incredibly friendly, from the hostess, to our waitress, to the gentleman who cleared our table. The food was delicious, and we can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. Just a heads up: Yelp's prices didn't fully reflect what we saw in person. It was actually better when showing up. Definitely give this place a try, you won't regret it.

Went to brunch with my mom on a Friday. The establishment was large & clean with both indoor & outdoor dining. Our server was pleasant & attentive. Everything came out fast and hot. The appetizer that guaranteed that I'll be back is their Leek-Mushroom Croquetas. Talk about flavor town! The combination of crispy exterior with soft fluffy interior was mind blowing. Mom ordered a hot matcha latte while I ordered a hot chai. The matcha was bright, light, & airy while the chai felt like a warm hug. My mom decided to be adventurous & try their burrata burger with arugula & pesto. The burger patty is a great size & cooked to order. I tried their Omelette Basqaise, which is a manchego cheese omelette with a sweet pepper onion & tomato sauce. Unfortunately I was a bit underwhelmed; it lacked flavor & for $16 I was disappointed that the spinach & mushrooms were an additional $2 each (if not added, which I chose to do, it would just be a cheese omelette with tomato sauce.) I switched the toast for a biscuit & I should've just stuck with the toast. The biscuit was underbaked in the center. 20% gratuity is included in the bill. I am looking forward to exploring the rest of their menu.

My family and I went to the establishment at the last minute for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and we were seated within 15 minutes. Judging by the crowd that was there, I could tell it was a hidden gem. The ambiance was nice and the seating was spacious. The food didn't take long at all to start coming out. For the appetizer, we ordered the canelas, which are essentially 4 pieces of deep fried mini cinnamon rolls. They were delicious! 10/10 Less than five minutes later, our main courses were brought out. I ordered the Sweet Holiday Waffle that was topped with fruit and the shrimp and grits that came with eggs and a spicy reddish sauce that perfectly aligned the outer rim around the circumference of the grits. Between the taste and the generous portion I received I have to rate it a 10/10. The rest of my family ordered the Huevos Rotos Bravos (eggs, ham and potatoes) and Croissant French Toast with eggs and bacon. The service was terrific and the staff was nice and accommodating. All in all this was a wonderful experience and we'll definitely be back.

Want a breakfast spot that never disappoints. From the fair they opened i have been impressed. With their seasonal menús for food and drinks, exceptional service from the staff and all the holiday decorations. I have tried a good portion of their breakfast options but i was excited for the holiday drinks but i couldn't try them all. Tried the carmel espresso and it was really good. The shrimp and grits were good and filling grits may have been a bit too grainy for my taste but the flavors were there. The chocolate chip pancakes was good as well with our without syrup. And my son had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy and just the right amount for the waffles. What's the next holiday si i can see the next menu change

    Ferrero rocher latte

I'm always excited to try a new breakfast spot and this restaurant was next on the list. The have a pretty wide variety of options on their menu ranging from savory to sweet. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes- which were delicious but needed more of the sauce than it came with. The ferrero roche latte was great and it wasn't too overwhelmingly sweet. The service was great. Our waitress was super fast and despite it being busy she was able to get everything to us quickly. This feels like a family breakfast spot. It was a bit loud. In the future I would try to eat outside to avoid all the noise

In short: Cracker Barrel feel with a modern vibe. Came here on a Sunday and they were slammed . I called and put my name on the waitlist. The good thing is that once you are notified of your table being available , you have a 15 minute grace period to claim it. They have a cute little holiday menu with drinks and dishes. I was feeling festive so I got the eggnog latte. It was so delicious ! My server was nice enough to bring me a little gingerbread cookie on the side. Appetizers: mini cheddar biscuits. Flaky , warm and just the right amount of cheddar. This little guy's are divine . Main: I had the omelette Basquaise and added spinach. It was flavorful and just what I needed after a hard workout session in the morning . My friend had the Burrata burger and she said it was absolutely delicious . Decor : open style dining with a cute, modern farmhouse feel. The service was excellent and my server was so accommodating considering my companion was about 40 mins late ( long story). I would highly recommend coming here for their delicious brunch !

Great food, service was a bit slow that day but food was great. Got the breakfast sandwich and it was good loved the coffee too. Ambiance is nice, would come back again

    Eggs Sardou
    Michelle P.

This place is super cute and our server was really friendly. I thought the food was just OK. The eggs sardou was not what I was used to or what I expected. The sauce was completely covering the plate and was kind of bland, honestly with all the liquid it made me a bit nauseas. The omelette my partner ordered was pretty good, although it didn't have all the ingredients he requested- the server offered to remake but we were in a little bit of a hurry. The cappuccino was good but the large was HUGE, so I recommend the smaller size. The cheddar mini bites were yummy, kind of like Brazilian cheese bread.

However, when I got home, I realized that both tuna platters were missing the bagel chips--so essentially I paid $17 each for just two scoops of tuna. A quick call, or even mentioning it at pickup, would have gone a long way. I would have happily substituted for a bagel or chosen something else. Instead, I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. By that point, I was understandably frustrated, and the response at the counter didn't help--the staff seemed indifferent. They did replace the missing items with bagels, which I appreciate, but the overall experience was disappointing. I used to really enjoy Marian's under the previous ownership and was a regular customer. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the quality of service seems to have declined. Ally's Comfort Cafe - 136th and State Road 84 in Davie…read more I really did not want to leave this review. I tried with all of my might to do everything I could to not leave this review. Ally's comfort Café has been a staple in Northwest Davie forever. *Now, Ally, moved away a little while ago and new owners took over. They kept the same recipes which made us hopeful that things would pretty much remain the same. But little by little all of the staff that had been there for years started leaving. I think there's only a couple of the longtime staff left. We'll get back to the staff in a moment. My wife and I go to Ally's every Saturday morning. We go there have a great breakfast and then go to the Publix next-door to do our weekly shopping. There's obviously going to be hiccups when new owners take over a restaurant. We totally understand this. But some things are just not improving. They open at 8 AM on Saturdays. But, between 8 and 9 AM there's only one waitress and one bus boy this didn't always used to be the case. They used to have the full staff and someone at the door to take names. He would also help out by getting you drinks or more coffee if you needed it. It worked really well for the small family restaurant. The new owners took over and at some point they decided they only needed limited staff between 8 and 9 AM on Saturdays. And of course, every Saturday my wife and I go in there. It gets packed and the waitress is running around like her head is cut off and the busboy is overwhelmed. This isn't a one time thing it has been constant since they made the staffing change. It's completely unfair to the waitress and busboy and it's also a complete turn off to patrons who have to wait sometimes up to 10 or 15 minutes just for the poor waitress to come and take their order this morning. A couple waited 20 minutes before their order was taken. Also, the owner/manager doesn't get there until almost 9 herself, which means there's no management in the restaurant to help with the register or put out "fires." It. Is. Not. Working. Ally's has been known for their specials for years. They always have amazing special pancakes and special French toast. It's one of the main reasons we still go there. It's our little weekly treat. Lately the specials have been very monotonous. Some sort of jelly put on some French toast or some sort of cream put on a pancake. Not real imaginative for instance, today was banana cream and chocolate pancakes. It was a dollop of banana cream on a chocolate pancake that had little taste. One could've added some fresh bananas, or maybe some whipped cream on top of that. Meanwhile, the special pancakes and special French toast are often made wrong by the staff. This happened this morning. It took them twice to get the pancakes right and three times to get the French toast, right. Again, this is not a one time occur occurrence. We never complain. But we were surprised to still see those items on the bill and not discounted at all, but that's OK. The thing that really drove me to write this review, is that I waited for more than 10 minutes to speak to the owner/manager on our way out. I thought the best way to handle our dissatisfaction would be to speak to her personally. She disappeared into the kitchen, and even after the waitress went to tell her we were waiting to speak with her, she was nowhere to be found. No I understand things come up in the kitchen, but she could've at least came out and said hey I know you're here, I'm dealing with a problem, I'll be right back. But we waited and waited and waited and nothing despite all of the above, that's what irked me the most. I will say this. The food is still very good. And the waitresses and buses are amazing. None of this is their fault. They should all be paid more in dealing with a kitchen that can't get right and an owner that can't seem to figure out good customer service. We will certainly give them another chance, it's part of our routine. But after biting my tongue, I had to let everyone know what was happening at one of our favorite spots in Broward County.
