Wow!!! I was thoroughly impressed with First Watch. We had a 25 minute to 30 minute wait. It was ok since I had errands. When I was seated the waitress was nice and made suggestions on how to get everything I wanted, but keep the cost down. My only disappointment was the potatoes. They were not crispy at all. They were very unevenly cooked. I'm a huge potato fan so this was unfortunate. I ordered the trifecta and my boyfriend ordered the turkey sausage and gravy. I'm not a fan of biscuits and gravy, but the flavor was amazing. They initially burnt the biscuits, they remade it and we definitely enjoyed the meal. I had the French toast and it was ok. We also ordered the salted caramel donut holes. Not my favorite. I'm glad it's seasonal. Overall, good experience. I will definitely be back, but I will know what to order next time. read more

I went here to take advantage of a BOGO offer like I do every year. This time I ordered the Farmhouse Hash and the Parma Hash. When I had shown my coupon, the gal at the register had asked if I could zoom in on the barcode (which I could not). The new way the email generates coupons is to put it in this print preview which cannot be zoomed in via cell phone. Weirdly enough, the barcode contained 6 alphanumeric items. She, for whatever reason, could not use this and instead, used a generic bogo birthday coupon for the purchase. I get why they have these emails and codes and it is so that way someone does not go in there multiple times during their birthday month and get the deal. This chain though has an issue with when they send an email with a coupon. I remember in the past, they did not have a barcode. So the individuals at the register had to take my phone and literally type in this 13 digit code in by hand. Now they have a code and they cannot use the 6 alphanumeric code. Like why is it so hard to do this? Are the machine outdated? Are they not trained at this location to know that? With all the chains that have apps and kiosks, it is never an issue if a customer needs to use a coupon code. But First Watch, it is almost like archaic. Shouldn't the register be updated to a kiosk type screen where it would have the ability to put in this 6 digit code, rather than scan or have to use a generic bogo offer? Just odd. Anyway, the food was great like always. Customer service was lacking on this experience because it seemed like no one knew how to put in a coupon offer. read more

Very fancy smancy for breakfast and kinda a big budget buster, with a breakfast meal for three for 60.00$ = ouch, but tasty. Service was quick and attentive. This is a chain with a nice decor and dining area is very loud when busy. They offer a seasonal menu and we opted in for items on the special menu and some sides. Eating at first watch is one of my most favorite places to eat. I have never had anything bad on their menu and never had bad service or any issues. Today I tried the new barbacoa breakfast burrito. It was delicious! Just a tad bit of spice. I personally didn't think my coffee complimented well with the spice of the dish. Not as breakfast-y as I was hoping for. More brunch-y. But still was so good! We also tried the gingerbread spice donut holes. Sooo delicious and perfect with coffee! I couldn't tell the "gingerbread" flavor or what the sauces were. But yummy nonetheless! First watch is always a win in my book! read more

A very kind co-worker once gave me a gift certificate to First Watch because she knew I loved to eat local, healthy foods. For some reason, it took me almost two years to finally get myself to First Watch for a delicious lunch. Eager to try different things, I ordered a 2 For You, which consists of your choice of two of the following: half sandwich, half salad, or cup of soup. I had a Superfood Kale Salad and a Monterey Club sandwich. I also ordered a cup of Morning Meditation juice. The juice was divine. The salad was pure comfort. The sandwich was amazing. I was blown away as I had somewhat expected this place not to meet my expectations (ha). It was all just the perfect amount of food for me, too. The total bill was about $12. Whoa. For all that I ordered and ate, that was a great deal. My $25 gift card could easily stretch for two solo meals. I was also in and out of the restaurant in less than 45 minutes, which was perfect for the hour-long lunch time I had. I also had no idea First Watch was a chain until I read more on their menu. Definitely does not feel like a chain restaurant. So thankful for that gift card and all the veggies!! read more

(Although in one drawback, I realized I don't prefer chicken sausage, over pork sausage.) Anyway, I brought my wife, and we had a terrific breakfast experience, this great Fall day. She enjoyed the Pumpkin pancake plate! Your annual generosity afforded me a chance to go and enjoy my favorite meal, the Works Omelet plate, and I even tried the Morning Meditation Juice this time - a splurge for me! This is my go to breakfast spot for a few months now, Everything here is delicious my two favorite breakfast meals is either the Healthy Turkey or the Farmhouse Hash. The coffee here was good at first but the past few visits it seems very water downed and not great but I always order the Morning Meditation as my main drink anyway so the coffee being bad doesn't bother me as much. My wife and I had breakfast here this morning. We got a table right away however it was on the back wall where the tables are. Not the booths. There's approximately 2 feet from one table to the next table. We might as well have been sitting with the people next to us that we didn't know. When the waitress was taking the order for the table next to us, her butt was touching our table. That's how close these tables are. I couldn't pickup my drink while she was standing there for concern that I might've touched her and that would've been bad. To get in and out of the seat that's up against the wall you had to scoot over and touch the person at the other table to get out. First Watch needs to remove one of the tables on that wall and space the tables out more. Right now their packing customers in like sardines. It's like COVID never happened when you go there. Other places have left the dividers up between tables. If I go back I'll wait for a booth to open up before I sit at a table on the back wall again. read more

This First Watch, just off I-75 in Lexington, KY (Hamburg), is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast two days in a row, on a Saturday and Sunday, and the staff did not let us down at all. You sort of know when you pull into a breakfast place on a Saturday or Sunday morning, things might get dicey when it comes to being sated and served. Au Contraire, my friends, nothing of such happening at this location. From parking to placing our order took under five minutes in a moderately crowded moment. The wait staff seems to have no more than four tables each. A major plus for us! As for the quality and cleanliness, rest assured this location has its cleanliness process perfectly honed; and the place is clean. The restrooms are immaculate, and their tables, staff, parking lot, exterior, and everything. The food was excellent. Everyone with me was satisfied. The price was excellent. I felt like I had a healthy meal upon finishing my breakfast. I am looking forward to visiting this First Watch the next time I am in Lexington, Ky. read more

On my drive home from red river gorge, my tummy was rumbling and breakfast was calling my name. First watch popped up on my Yelp search list and my friend and I decided to stop. There was ample parking and COVID precautions are in full effect. We were promptly seated and our waiter quickly took our drink orders. From start to finish he was very attentive and made some great recommendations as far as breakfast goes. There is a large specials board which lists new items to try and are usually pretty tasty. My friend and I started off with the million dollar bacon. For entrees the cinnamon chip pancake breakfast and carnitas burrito were the winners. Both meals came out hot and fresh and equally delicious. The cinnamon chip tasted like Christmas morning, while the burrito was flavorful, delicious, and filling. Great spot for brunch and lunch. Went to First Watch in Hamburg for the first time today. I will absolutely be back. My wife and I were seated immediately, and were offered coffee while we were looking over the menu. The coffee was great--I added some of the creamer available on the table. The menu had plenty of options, and there were also seasonal/limited options available. I went with the breakfast tacos, while my wife chose the farmhouse hash. We also ordered the Million Dollar Bacon, which was amazing. The tacos were great--the chorizo in the eggs was flavorful without being overpowering, and the chicken was well-seasoned. I loved having the black beans on the side, as they could make the tacos messy and soggy as a topping. I also tried some of the potatoes in the farmhouse hash and loved them. With great service, great food, and a quiet environment, this place is hard to top for a breakfast/brunch spot. Just make sure you get there before they close in the afternoon. read more
