Great food, good service and nice, clean ambiance. Some interesting twists on traditional breakfast. Well worth the visit.

Stopped in for breakfast...tried a different menu offering - "The Trifecta and "Morning Meditation juice. My entree was hot and delicious. I really like the chicken apple sausage. The juice was made perfectly. I could tell the wait person was inexperienced, I'm sure she will get better over time. I will visit again to try their other menu offerings.

Wow!!! I was thoroughly impressed with First Watch. We had a 25 minute to 30 minute wait. It was ok since I had errands. When I was seated the waitress was nice and made suggestions on how to get everything I wanted, but keep the cost down. My only disappointment was the potatoes. They were not crispy at all. They were very unevenly cooked. I'm a huge potato fan so this was unfortunate. I ordered the trifecta and my boyfriend ordered the turkey sausage and gravy. I'm not a fan of biscuits and gravy, but the flavor was amazing. They initially burnt the biscuits, they remade it and we definitely enjoyed the meal. I had the French toast and it was ok. We also ordered the salted caramel donut holes. Not my favorite. I'm glad it's seasonal. Overall, good experience. I will definitely be back, but I will know what to order next time.

Very fancy smancy for breakfast and kinda a big budget buster, with a breakfast meal for three for 60.00$ = ouch, but tasty. Service was quick and attentive. This is a chain with a nice decor and dining area is very loud when busy. They offer a seasonal menu and we opted in for items on the special menu and some sides. Grits are great, eggs are eggs and the seasonal items fresh and filling.

Stumbled upon on this place when passing through the area. It did not disappoint. It was fresh ingredients, friendly staff and a very chic farmhouse ambiance. My omelette was incredible, my green juice was so tasty. All around a good experience. Would highly recommend if your looking for an great breakfast/ brunch spot!

This is a nice low key spot to get brunch. We were in and out within about 25-30 minutes. Service was prompt and friendly. The food and drinks were great as well. I appreciate the great hospitality

Eating at first watch is one of my most favorite places to eat. I have never had anything bad on their menu and never had bad service or any issues. Today I tried the new barbacoa breakfast burrito. It was delicious! Just a tad bit of spice. I personally didn't think my coffee complimented well with the spice of the dish. Not as breakfast-y as I was hoping for. More brunch-y. But still was so good! We also tried the gingerbread spice donut holes. Sooo delicious and perfect with coffee! I couldn't tell the "gingerbread" flavor or what the sauces were. But yummy nonetheless! First watch is always a win in my book!

A very kind co-worker once gave me a gift certificate to First Watch because she knew I loved to eat local, healthy foods. For some reason, it took me almost two years to finally get myself to First Watch for a delicious lunch. Eager to try different things, I ordered a 2 For You, which consists of your choice of two of the following: half sandwich, half salad, or cup of soup. I had a Superfood Kale Salad and a Monterey Club sandwich. I also ordered a cup of Morning Meditation juice. The juice was divine. The salad was pure comfort. The sandwich was amazing. I was blown away as I had somewhat expected this place not to meet my expectations (ha). It was all just the perfect amount of food for me, too. The total bill was about $12. Whoa. For all that I ordered and ate, that was a great deal. My $25 gift card could easily stretch for two solo meals. I was also in and out of the restaurant in less than 45 minutes, which was perfect for the hour-long lunch time I had. I also had no idea First Watch was a chain until I read more on their menu. Definitely does not feel like a chain restaurant. So thankful for that gift card and all the veggies!!

fresh, flavorful, fun I really like First Watch - it reminds me of my home, the Bay Area in CA. Yes, some menu items are a little "crunchy" but they are so good for you, and here, they TASTE good, too!

He's from this general area and recommended this spot, among a few others. I picked it because I liked the vibe, which I stand by in hindsight. Last Thursday was an atrocious weather day, raining for most of the time including the entire morning as we drove up to Lexington from Irvine. Since we'd never been over here, Josie's wasn't necessarily easy to spot apart from the other nearby businesses. It WAS very obviously in this larger strip mall situation (which doesn't seem like exactly the right term, but it's definitely in a building with a bunch of other stores), though we had to walk around almost the entire perimeter from our parking spot on Euclid to find it. Once we did, smooth sailing. Despite the fact that it was a weekday, Josie's was pretty busy when we walked in around 10ish. We WERE heading toward MDW, which could have been a factor, but this seems to be a pretty popular establishment regardless. It feels pretty new - this isn't like an old school greasy spoon diner type of situation - with some interesting artwork on the walls, and booths, regular tables and counter stools potentially available. Our colleague was already there and had secured a booth towards the back closer to the bathrooms, which allowed for some fun viewpoints of most of the restaurant. We were already a few days into our debauchery of a road trip, so I kept it pretty well-behaved - I opted for waffles with strawberries. That's it. The food came very quickly, as did the requested coffee, which might have ultimately been more important than the aforementioned waffles in the grand scheme of things. I honestly don't have a lot to say about them other than that they were perfectly fine waffles. The strawberries were fresh, the waffles themselves were cooked through but not too crispy, and that was that. I think it's a little hard to mess up something this basic, and thankfully all was well. The service was excellent throughout and even though I didn't foot any part of the bill (a thank you to our Kentucky colleague), the prices seemed very reasonable to me - though I also have a completely distorted perspective given that most of my consumerism takes place in the NYC area. No issues here; didn't see a ton of reasons to wander back into Lexington unless somehow Coach Cal comes back to coach the Cats and I miraculously score tickets to something at Rupp, but this was a nice little spot.

I must admit when I saw the size of her donuts I laughed because they were so big. Long story short what she got was a cronut not the traditional cake donut. I could be wrong. I liked my donut although it was a little messy to eat . My friend on the other hand didn't care for the cronut. The coffee though is always on point and it didn't disappoint.
