    Inedible Avacado
    John M.

Not a good experience. I have been to this location several times in the past and though not one of my favorite places it has always been ok. This morning I ordered the Avacado Toast and it was inedible. The Avacado was not ripe and I could not even chew the pieces. Not sure why the kitchen would send something like that out to the dining room.

OH MY GOSH My and friend where going to first watch as a second option because the all amazing Waffle House was full #lovemesomewafflehouse and we settled for first watch and sat down and glanced at the menu and saw a frightening $12.99 for one buttery biscuit. My friend almost fell out of his chair after the price and how healthy the food was. We kindly left. And went to crackle barrel #lovemeslmecracklebarrel

Met a friend for breakfast. Had the Skillet Hash. Lots of goodies in it, sausage, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes. Hearty slice of bread with fresh made preserves. Good choice. 8

I am so happy that this First Watch was bigger. Most of the first watches I have dined in have been on the smaller side. From entering the restaurant to leaving, everything was nice! The staff opened the door for my family and the server to prompt to greet us at the table. Service was very quick and the food was hot. I like First Watch because they have healthy options that are appetizing. We ordered the egg bowl, egg omelet and kid's oatmeal with a kid's waffle. The bowl and omelet had goat cheese, a green vegetable, tomatoes, and potatoes (bowl). The kid's oatmeal had oats, brown sugar, blueberries, strawberries and banana. The kid's waffle was a plain waffle with sprinkled powdered sugar. Anytime with my family is a meaningful time but I am grateful to spend time with them while eating a healthy, hearty meal!!

We had heard that First Watch is an award-winning restaurant that specializes in both traditional and innovative creations all freshly prepared to order. We visited the one located at Brannon Crossing, we are open from 7am-2:30pm everyday. After many years of business in this community, we found our home. The place had high marks and reviews so we decided to see what all they hype is about. The first thing we noticed is how accessible the location was, accessible entrance, dine-in, takeout and no-contact delivery options are available. The outdoor patio offers a excellent setting option. now what's on the menu. The breakfast option I had was the Sunny Seoul Hash, consisting of shaved seared pork tossed with freshly seasoned potatoes, diced red bell peppers, kimchi, Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Topped with two cage-free eggs cooked any style, scallions, sesame seeds and gochujang aioli. It was amazing! Prepared fresh to order and was served hot. The Gochujanj Aioli is truly the highlight, and I wished the offer it for sale separately. My wife hat the Cinnamon Chip Pancake Breakfast. A excellent option for anyone that loves pancakes. You have the option of Two cage-free eggs cooked any style with a cinnamon chip pancake and your choice of hardwood smoked bacon or chicken, pork or turkey sausage. I also had a side of their Million Dollar Bacon, which is Four slices of our signature hardwood smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle. a excellent side to complete any meal but great on its own. They offer a wide range of sides as well as a traditional breakfast, which consist of Two cage-free eggs any style with your choice of bacon, smoked ham, chicken sausage patties, turkey or pork sausage links. Served with our whole grain artisan toast, all-natural house preserves and fresh, seasoned potatoes. They have daily offerings from their juice bar featuring all natural ingredients, I opt for the Purple Haze, that consist of Lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender. It is beautiful drink and has a flavoral taste. They also have a wide offering of coffees and cocktails such as Bloody Mary to Mimosa. They have countless breakfast options it is hard to decide what to have. They offer sandwich's as well that are served with the soup of the day. Some of their items are seasonal, so have a back up item, but with the wide selection they offer you will be sure to find something. Finally the service was excellent, and timely. I believe her server was Miranda and she was most excellent and accommodating. A very inviting and warm place.

Delicious food waiting for you to coma and eat!

It's not exactly in Lexington... it's more on the outskirts(in my opinion) but it hits extremely hard. They have many things on their menu but I wanted something simple. Breakfast sandwich. I added cheese and ordered an avocado for it too. I should've ordered an extra biscuit. It was light, filling, and equalized me in the most perfect way. My wife ordered the grain bowl and it was so much bigger than we thought it'd be. Plenty for leftovers. If I had any complaints, it'd be that it is a smaller place. Let me rephrase... not so much small but it is busy and cramped. They could easily expand to another location or larger location. We will definitely visit this place again. All the food was perfect!

The breakfast burrito was a great burrito and would recommend to anyone who wants a burrito. Not basic but a higher level breakfast burrito. The dip that accompanied the burrito was also very tasty.Their version of a hash brown was pleasantly very crisp with a mild cheese flavor. The omelette was uncooked. It was a Japanese style omelette that was soft and runny in the middle. Not very appetizing if you were not expecting it. It was accompanied by half a big bag of balsamic salad greens . I'm not sure who actually enjoys this pairing. The hot honey chicken biscuit was nothing to talk about. It was also paired with the other half of the big bag of balsamic salad greens. Would not order again. It's a standard cafe with nothing that made it stand out to us. The prices seemed high for what we got. Places are hit or miss and unfortunately this place was a miss for us.

He's from this general area and recommended this spot, among a few others. I picked it because I liked the vibe, which I stand by in hindsight. Last Thursday was an atrocious weather day, raining for most of the time including the entire morning as we drove up to Lexington from Irvine. Since we'd never been over here, Josie's wasn't necessarily easy to spot apart from the other nearby businesses. It WAS very obviously in this larger strip mall situation (which doesn't seem like exactly the right term, but it's definitely in a building with a bunch of other stores), though we had to walk around almost the entire perimeter from our parking spot on Euclid to find it. Once we did, smooth sailing. Despite the fact that it was a weekday, Josie's was pretty busy when we walked in around 10ish. We WERE heading toward MDW, which could have been a factor, but this seems to be a pretty popular establishment regardless. It feels pretty new - this isn't like an old school greasy spoon diner type of situation - with some interesting artwork on the walls, and booths, regular tables and counter stools potentially available. Our colleague was already there and had secured a booth towards the back closer to the bathrooms, which allowed for some fun viewpoints of most of the restaurant. We were already a few days into our debauchery of a road trip, so I kept it pretty well-behaved - I opted for waffles with strawberries. That's it. The food came very quickly, as did the requested coffee, which might have ultimately been more important than the aforementioned waffles in the grand scheme of things. I honestly don't have a lot to say about them other than that they were perfectly fine waffles. The strawberries were fresh, the waffles themselves were cooked through but not too crispy, and that was that. I think it's a little hard to mess up something this basic, and thankfully all was well. The service was excellent throughout and even though I didn't foot any part of the bill (a thank you to our Kentucky colleague), the prices seemed very reasonable to me - though I also have a completely distorted perspective given that most of my consumerism takes place in the NYC area. No issues here; didn't see a ton of reasons to wander back into Lexington unless somehow Coach Cal comes back to coach the Cats and I miraculously score tickets to something at Rupp, but this was a nice little spot.
