Small little store with several fun menu items! Honey puff pastry was delicious - cream cheese, honey, flaky pastry (and even better warmed). The iced blackberry jam latte was quite sweet, not a lot of blackberry flavor, but still good given the weather. The curried chicken sandwich sounded really good, and so do some of the other menu items, so I'll have to check it out again. The staff was quite nice and my order came together quite quickly. Biggest issue was finding parking - a lot of the property nearby is reserved for Asbury, but they do have a handicap park space right in front! read more

I love Solomon's food like the CS lewis and coffee, but I no longer hang out here. The place is super run down and outdated and even being there for 2 mins the smell of the place lingers on my clothes. Plus, the Wi-Fi does not work. I know they have to be making a decent amount of money to at least spruce up the place a little. read more

What a nice little hidden gem!! Service was fast and food was good! We loved all the little additions that make this place great like comfy chairs, coffee mugs, and book shelf! Decent burgers that are locally sourced. For a small town joint they have some decent food for lunch. They have limited hours so be sure to check before showing up. Also they don't accept AMEX. read more

I had to get the young lady's attention behind the counter to place an order. She didn't describe how the process works, but that's OK. After 20 to 25 minutes I still did not have my order which I found surprising for such a small establishment. It looked like the people in the back were prepping for lunch. I had to go so I asked for my order to go and it still took another 5 to 10 minutes to get it, which in my mind means they actually just had to cook the order at that time. Probably won't go back as the wait time seemed vastly out of proportion to the amount of staff and customers in the café. What a find! I loved the small cafe feel and the crazy mismatch chairs and decor. However, the wrap I ordered was Solomon's temple and the classic club my wife ordered were two of the best sandwiches I've had in a longtime. I and my wife each had half of each other's sandwiches. What's great: There is a coffee shop in Wilmore and you can stay as long as you want! If you live in Wilmore (especially if you're a student), you'll see several people you know. What's good: Coffee, tea, sandwiches, quiche, sweets. The Appian Way is a great sandwich that uses a crescent roll with good pesto sauce. The beef franks here are of high quality, even the Kids Frank. Also tried the Garden Burger, was hoping it would have more feta cheese, but the patty had a bold beefy taste, suggesting they use fresh meat here. The food is usually pretty good, the coffee is almost always excellent. However, the speed of service is unpredictable, you might get your food in 5-10 minutes or you might get it in 30-45 minutes. If I am pressed for time I do not take the chance. read more

I got the CS Lewis (all sandwiches are religious themed since Asbury Seminary is nearby). It was turkey and Swiss on a fresh roll. Staff was friendly. It did take a few minutes to get my food delivered to my table because so many college students were there. They seemed to just hang around taking up valuable seating.
