    The "Simon the Zealot" dog

This little shop has it all! Great food, solid service and a HUGE side of creativity make it a must-visit every time I'm in the area!

Solomon's Porch has a good atmosphere with a friendly staff. They also offer all their items on their menu as to go meals. Their muffins and unique hotdogs are particularly good.

This a super neat little coffee house nestled in the quiet town of Wilmore KY. I love it I was pleased with my coffee selection, ( Fall in a Cup)! It was delicious! My breakfast sandwich was perfect! I also bought a piece of art that was on display and to my surprise the artist walked in! I had an opportunity to discuss the piece with her and to hear her process! Amazing time and I will return when I visit the area again!

Solomon's Porch is killing the summer salad game, this Cranberry Chicken Salad sandwich is the best cranberry chicken salad sandwich I've had in years. If you're not making the trip to Wilmore for Solomon's porch then you just don't like good food.

    Burnt pancake

Waited 45 minutes, for two burnt pancakes with an egg shell. So, not great. 3 stars for all of the other decent experiences.

What a nice little hidden gem!! Service was fast and food was good! We loved all the little additions that make this place great like comfy chairs, coffee mugs, and book shelf! Husband ordered a triple threat, cooked perfect just like he wanted. I had oatmeal and a caramel mochiato. Best tasting coffee and loved my "Saint Lewis" mug. Will def return and would recommend.

Decent burgers that are locally sourced. For a small town joint they have some decent food for lunch. They have limited hours so be sure to check before showing up. Also they don't accept AMEX.

Solomon's Porch is a great locally owned place. The atmosphere is quaint, and friendly. The food is good, and they have some specialty items. They also have some items from local produces, such as sorghum. Cute small business.

From Sept 6.... food was good! Service was odd, first time visit ans cashier didn't really explain how works plus peeps after me was getting their food before me, same meal?? I did get a Mexican coke so was very pleased!!

The very comfortable lounge area by the front windows.

This is the best place in Wilmore for coffee and lunch. Get the Appian Way for food. It's the best!!! Iced chai latte is good too.

I saw someone trash talk the breakfast buffet in an another review, but every bite I ate was good. I just came back from Disney, this was above the standard breakfast buffet in quality. IF you are wanting a relaxing, DINKS or retired experience, I'd look at the calendar before booking. The special beef stew was incredible, as was the beet salad and the desserts. I look forward to eating here again and trying more menu items. I only take one star off because of the service. Our waitress was very nice, but a little scattered. We ordered an appetizer, but she brought the entrees out first, then seemed unhappy when we said we no longer wanted the appetizer since it still hadn't come out when we were almost done with our meals. Also we said we wanted dessert and she responded "I'll go get the check" and started to walk away. We had to call her back and say again that we wanted dessert, which she seemed surprised by.

I love that if you have a problem with your food the management will make it right. You just have to let them know. No one's perfect but they really try to make it right. I love the ambiance inside and the outdoor seating in spring and summer. Good place to bring the family. I'm thrilled there are still local places like this one in Lexington that really work hard to give its' best and work hard to keep their doors open in this economy now days. It's not easy as we all know. We need to support our local businesses and cheer them on like this little gem. Thanks, Tack House for hanging in there through thick and thin and still giving us delicious food and great service for so many years!
