This is a basic deli type lunch spot. The food was fresh and the bread from Sunrise Bakery was excellent, and the perfect compliment to ripe and delicious lettuce and tomato with high quality deli meats and cheeses. I ate a half of an egg salad sandwich and it was wonderful. It was just like my grandmother used to make and she was quite a gourmet cook. I also had a half of a ham and Swiss. I was impressed with how much cheese they put on it. I was also surprised that there were no condiments on the sandwich and they didn't ask me when I ordered if I wanted mayo or mustard?? They had some little packets of mustard on a side table but no mayonnaise. I thought that their homemade potato chips were very good. I usually don't like them at other places because they usually taste burnt. These didn't. When I go back I am going to buy some of their spicy corn dip. It looks good but I didn't get a chance to try it.

We were in the neighborhood and looking for something different to eat and passed by this place. I am so glad that we stopped in! I had the Liberty which is a delicious country ham sandwich and my wife had the chicken salad croissant. Probably the best chicken salad we have had in a long time. The country ham sandwich did not disappoint either! We both had the home made potato chips. We will definitely go out of our way to eat here again and again!

Henry Clay Sandwich with House Chips

Friday's mean girls lunch out! Checked out this little neighborhood cafe and had a wonderful lunch. Always passing by in the car but hadn't stopped, but now I know better. The Henry Clay sandwich (pimento cheese, tomato jam and bacon) served with a side of choice, to which I tried the house made chips, was delicious! Split the Chicken Bacon Club with potato salad which was also tasty. I would definitely have the Henry Clay again. Will definitely be back, easy walk if you're in the surrounding neighborhood also!

Cozy seating options and ordering counter.

Just opened, love this place. Sandwiches are refreshingly unique, with a surprising variety of flavors. I had the Banh Mi, which was more filling than it looked. Fresh fruit and other sides are great, but the house-made potato chips are a must-have. Will have to come back to try the soups and salads. Superfoods salad sounded really good. PS: if you're been to an event catered by Selma's Catering, Liberty Road Café is her retail operation. Be sure to take a quart of the Corn Dip home with you!

The pimento cheese is the bomb. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will return to try other items on the menu.

What a sensational find! Dudley's was recommended, but didn't open until 0800 ( it was 0715!). In…read moreLexington KY for a tandem bike tour with Adventures in Tandem, looking for coffee and breakfast. There was a lovely ( and quite colorful ) woman who said a cheery "good morning!" To us as we walked across the street to Dudley's . We then walked back over, discovered she'd been cleaning up the outdoor seating for 3rd street stuff! What an amazing and super cool place! The artwork on the walls is colorful and expressive! The egg and cheese in everything bagels were divine, and the Secretariat latte ( what else would I order in Lexington???) was delicious - a combo of coffee, cinnamon, maple syrup, and a splash of vanilla The staff was lovely, the place very comfortable and colorful, food and coffee excellent!!! A MUST visit

I personally like garlic cream cheese and I add avocado and cucumber for a small extra fee and it's so worth it. I've introduced a good amount of people to this place, I love how unique and homey it feels in a way. Although, I will say I am not a fan of their coffee I've tried around 5 different coffees from here and some are better than others. They do offer other drink options so no big deal to me! I've only ever had one guy be slightly rude to me while ordering but that's not stopping me from the bagel lol.

There is the ordering line and just a headed up they don't serve meat products. All dishes are vegetarian. You get to select 2 from the list for a meal ( as they are smaller portions ). They have some great dishes and savory tastes. They have beer and wines available; nice selection but not abundant- but when you have good selection in the first place you only need a smaller list. The hummus appetizer is awesome and great with the focaccia bread but I'd get at least a double portion bread right away. The porter was very good! If you're in Lexington stop here for the experience and some good food and drink!

The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. Especially for the hype and the line you wait in. Service is okay, kind of friendly and was incredibly slow to get food out. After waiting for 20-25 minutes we stood by the kitchen window to wait for our food to come up, we overheard people coming to pick up food and being told they were out of items they ordered and to choose something else... from the already VERY LIMITED menu. I was struck that they were allowing orders to go through for items they didn't have.. Anyways, the couscous salad was great. The lox and kohlrabi salad was mid with soggy bread. The pretzel was decent. Seating in the garden was viby - I'm assuming this is why everyone hypes this place up. Overall very pretentious. Walking around the greenhouse and seeing the plant prices is LAUGHABLE. As a gardener, these prices are insane and you can certainly find great plants at a much better price elsewhere. Again, pretentious. I've experienced their garden seating so I don't think I need to go back when visiting Lexington.
