Delicious brunch spot with super friendly and informative staff. It was definitely worth the wait. Felt like a much classier Cracker Barrel! Ordered the honey caramel crunch coffee, pesto chicken quinoa bowl, BLT Benedict, and salmon Benedict. Everything was to die for! Will happily return.

First watch is always a go to breakfast spot for me. They have delicious food great prices and the environment is great. The service was also really good. All the food and juice that we got was amazing. Some of my favorite things from there that I always love to get are the green tonic drink and the chia seed pudding. I also thought the chicken apple sausage was really good and their sandwiches are amazing as well.

This is one of my favorite brunch spots. I've tried several items off the menu and have never been disappointed. My favorite is The Works Omlet with seasoned potatoes. The toast that comes with it is very good too. It's so much food at a reasonable price. Service has always been good at this location.

We love going to First Watch for brunch! The food was delicious and filling as always and the staff was very friendly. I'm not sure if we were seated in a bad spot or if it was extra busy, but it was very loud in there and hard to have a normal-volume conversation. Overall, great brunch!

    Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash

I ordered the Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash which was pretty good with the exception that there was no corn except for maybe five pieces. My husband and I actually joked about it throughout brunch because this dish is the reason that we came to First Watch. I'm addicted to street corn so I was excited to try this new spin on the dish. We decided to dub it "An interpretation of Street Corn Hash". There were certainly plenty of potatoes and the eggs were cooked to perfection! The tortillas are made of corn so that helped with the interpretation :D Despite there not being any real corn involved in the dish (shortages maybe?) it was still a decent dish, just not at all what we had expected. I got the Kale Tonic to drink and it was incredibly refreshing. They were busy training new hires and I'm so glad that they've got the extra help! It'll come in handy for that breakfast/brunch rush.

Not sure why or how I had never been to a First Watch, but decided to come in this morning with the family after my sons 8th grade promotion and came away very impressed. Great atmosphere, loved the water and coffee at the tables and service was great! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Chickachanga and it was excellent. I'm not one to waste any food so after finishing off my meal I got the last few bites off my sons pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Everything was delicious. Can't wait come back.

    Classic Eggs benedict

Excellent service especially on a crazy day. The food though was just ok. Ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict with potatoes this time. One of the eggs Benedicts was good with the beautiful oozy yolk, but the other was a much smaller poached egg and it was overcooked. Also the potatoes were overcooked and didn't look that appealing.

Delicious food. Very friendly service. Brunch was delicious. We had a rather large table of 7 and were a little squished and one of the plates eggs came out cold but it was still very good. Coffee was piping hot and fresh. A great experience overall!

My top-tier chum who literally went to…read morethe school of hospitality and I came by here to meet up with a colleague for brunch last Thursday morning. He's from this general area and recommended this spot, among a few others. I picked it because I liked the vibe, which I stand by in hindsight. Last Thursday was an atrocious weather day, raining for most of the time including the entire morning as we drove up to Lexington from Irvine. Since we'd never been over here, Josie's wasn't necessarily easy to spot apart from the other nearby businesses. It WAS very obviously in this larger strip mall situation (which doesn't seem like exactly the right term, but it's definitely in a building with a bunch of other stores), though we had to walk around almost the entire perimeter from our parking spot on Euclid to find it. Once we did, smooth sailing. Despite the fact that it was a weekday, Josie's was pretty busy when we walked in around 10ish. We WERE heading toward MDW, which could have been a factor, but this seems to be a pretty popular establishment regardless. It feels pretty new - this isn't like an old school greasy spoon diner type of situation - with some interesting artwork on the walls, and booths, regular tables and counter stools potentially available. Our colleague was already there and had secured a booth towards the back closer to the bathrooms, which allowed for some fun viewpoints of most of the restaurant. We were already a few days into our debauchery of a road trip, so I kept it pretty well-behaved - I opted for waffles with strawberries. That's it. The food came very quickly, as did the requested coffee, which might have ultimately been more important than the aforementioned waffles in the grand scheme of things. I honestly don't have a lot to say about them other than that they were perfectly fine waffles. The strawberries were fresh, the waffles themselves were cooked through but not too crispy, and that was that. I think it's a little hard to mess up something this basic, and thankfully all was well. The service was excellent throughout and even though I didn't foot any part of the bill (a thank you to our Kentucky colleague), the prices seemed very reasonable to me - though I also have a completely distorted perspective given that most of my consumerism takes place in the NYC area. No issues here; didn't see a ton of reasons to wander back into Lexington unless somehow Coach Cal comes back to coach the Cats and I miraculously score tickets to something at Rupp, but this was a nice little spot.

I must admit when I saw the size of her donuts I laughed because they were so big. Long story short what she got was a cronut not the traditional cake donut. Previously I've had the raspberry filled donut there and it was really good. The caramel turtle is also a cronut. She asked what kind of dough it was my guess was brioche because of the texture. I could be wrong. I liked my donut although it was a little messy to eat . My friend on the other hand didn't care for the cronut. The coffee though is always on point and it didn't disappoint. As for customer service they really are on point. I've been there a total of three times so far and every time they've been friendly and patient. Plenty of seating indoors and on the patio. I think after 1 pm they do donuts made to order (I didn't see the sign when we first walked in until after we placed our order).
