Oh First Watch when your good your really good. This is my first review and check in, but not my first experience. I am gonna focus only on today. I met two girlfriends here for breakfast. Two of us had been here previously and our other friend was a newbie. Knowing there is normally a wait my girlfriend downloaded the app to get us on the waitlist as we were leaving our respective homes. This worked out really well as we were seated right after our last friend joined us at the restaurant. Woohoo for basically no waiting. Our waiter was fantastic. He listened to our requests and didn't seem the least bit upset that we chose to order multiple items to share family style. He made sure we had extra plates, lots of coffee and gave us space to talk. He left the bill with instructions to take it to the counter to pay, but never hurried us to leave. The food was delicious and although our one friend considered it fancy she tried new items and enjoyed everything. We had the seasonal million dollar bacon, which is like a candied bacon - so good. The avocado toast is always yummy and I appreciate you can get the eggs anyway you prefer. The farm hash was another solid dish. Our final item was the lemon ricotta pancakes. I love these pancakes and so did my friends - I even got them to skip the syrup and really enjoy the flavors. I had to deduct a star however because one of the silverware rolls had a super dirty spoon. It wasn't just not clean it had multiple areas of food dried on it. I can't imagine how that was missed when rolling the set-ups. read more

my wife and I, ordered coffee and breakfast. start off with server holding coffee under her armpit. i thought no big deal, right! wrong I ended up with hair in my coffee cup. no big deal stuff happens right, so asked for a new cup. But rather than going to the kitchen, server chose to crack a joke with her coworker about the issue. I'm an adult and figured no big deal keep calm. food comes out and my wife says there's a hair on her bread. Mind you I'm bald! so this is either careless because no one wears hair nets or was intentional placed. either way. do better! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! What a wonderful little place! I found this sweet place through yelp! I loved that they had "real time" wait and that we could check in from our phone at home! I wish more restaurants would take part in this. The restaurant was up to date, cheery and full of happy employees! There was a 40 min wait on a Saturday morning, but that's to be expected and honestly- I'd be happy to wait that again. The Watch is known for their million dollar bacon and let me say- it's worth a million bucks. It's sweet and just enough spicy that it leaves the perfect taste in your mouth. It was 4.99 for 4 pieces and I thought that was a great deal. I had the avocado toast with two eggs. They normally come basted, but I opted for scrambled. Seriously that avocado mix was to die for. It was stacked up so high on the toast I had to use a fork- just amazing. Lots of very healthy breakfast options like steal oats or protein pancakes- and you have to try their fresh squeezed juice! The orange was perfection! When we were first seated my glass had dried food stuck to the inside but our waitress, Alexa took care of that right away- she was a peach and very attentive- even with how busy it was! I'm really sad that we don't have these local to Washington yet, but when you do- I'll be first in line! Great job all around! read more

First time here during a rare visit on the northside. From the moment I was greeted through my checkout, the entire experience was A+. Service was cordial and prompt. The order, the Tri-Fecta, was about as perfect a portion you could get. Everything was super fresh and the coffee order came with a carafe at the table. We ate in person recently and the service was pretty good and the food was as well. They have a lot of fun drinks on the menu and things taste fresh. I am not a fan of the sugary sweet "million dollar bacon" but I think most people love bacon and sugar, so thatjust personal taste. This is the cutest little breakfast restaurant in town! The decor is like hippie, farmhouse chic and the food is California meets Colorado cool. Every time I've come the food and the staff have exceeded my expectations. I can especially recommend the French Coast, dusted with powdered sugar and topped with delicious citrus fruits like kiwi and mango, the bacon candy, which is a spicy, decadent treat and any of their healthy fare; the granola and oatmeal are all delicious. Their seasonal juices are one of my favorite things to try when I go. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in town. I'm sure the wait is a killer on the weekend, so make sure you go on a weekday to really get in when you want to. Having a little over an hour to spare before needing to go to a doctor's appointment nearby, my husband and I decided this would be a good place to stop for breakfast, specifically because we found there was no wait time when we checked the app. It's a very quaint and charming place! Decked out in farm style décor, they promote all organic and natural products. The space is open and bright, and they write specials up on chalkboards. Super impressed with all the food options! I browsed the menu deciding if I wanted to pick off the healthier side, such as their avocado toast - or indulge in some of their more savory holiday items - such as the cinnamon roll waffle! While it all looked so good, I ended up choosing the classic smoked salmon eggs benedict. It was incredible! Service was fast and friendly. They brought us over our own pot of coffee for refills, and our food was delivered fairly quick. I would love to come back and check out more of the menu items! read more

We first tried First Watch in Hilton Head Island, and we're delighted to find one near us in CO. Love the healthy choices and fresh juice. Service was quick, food was delicious. Our server Alexis was awesome and filled us in on some fun facts about First Watch. We also love Egg & I which is owned by First Watch. Pretty cool! We got the Skillet Hash Parma & the Lemon Blueberry Quinoa Pancakes with Kale Tonic and Morning Meditation. Delicious! Couldn't finish it all, large portions. My first impression wasn't great. We put our name in on the app at 10:10, we were supposed to be seated at 11 but weren't seated until 11:30. Once we were seated, the experience was excellent. Corey was our server and he was incredible, we instantly connected with him over rock climbing. He gave us tons of new places to try and was super friendly. Not to mention very attentive. He asked if we were ready for our next round of mimosas before we finished the ones we were on. The food was amazing. Extremely fresh and did not take long to come out. I got the Elevated Egg Sandwich. It was sooo good. Everyone's food was so good. We had complicated split checks and Corey got it with no problem. I would definitely recommend coming here, just be prepared to wait and call in ahead. read more

I just had my first-First Watch experience a week ago at a different location, and found out then that this was a chain, relatively new all around metro-Denver, but after last week, I was super excited to try another location, to get to other great menu items, with expectations of the same greatness I just experienced. Using the online check-in available here on Yelp is KEY. Check your distance and expected arrival with the wait time, and use it when you can as it is very useful thing. Made the wait time much more reasonable as this place was PACKED. Our table service and the food was pretty spot on to my previous experience with the other location. However... The host stand staff is what sets the start of your experience here, and since you pay here, it is the last experience with this place. Both for me sadly made this a less than pleasant trip. I can imagine it takes a very special talent and patience to deal with the volume of people one has to in this position at this chain & location, but since this person is the FACE of this place, the proper attitude is critical. My experience here was with a very cold, unfriendly person, that was almost robotic with essence of slight annoyance. And with using the online check-in, I had limited interaction or need to bug the host. The attitude was thereby somewhat easy to overlook upon arrival b/c we were so excited to get to eat here, but when leaving, the tone and attitude with checking out was completely inappropriate. I was asked a question which I responded to, but the same person from check-in who had been gruff then, apparently didn't hear me and asked me again with the snarkiest, aggravated tone and disdainful look like I had committed some major personal offense to her, and went on to act automated and yet pushy as if she wasn't even aware of actually dealing with REAL people. Other random note - this location, like many new shopping centers, has some weird fees that get tacked on your bill: here is is a PIF?? Our table service was great. Food was great. Tried the Avocado Toast that is top of the menu and it was AH.Mazing. They also have a nice patio. Another weird note - First Watch has an apparent signature move of putting chives with a few other herbs, though mainly chives, on top of EVERYTHING. And excessively so. My previous visit to another location, it was a LOT on the eggs benny, that I ended up scraping most off; here it was all over the avocado toast AND the million dollar bacon which was surprising. My friend called this out to me from her experiences with FW, specifically asked to make sure it wasn't on the French toast, which seemed like a safe bet, but for some reason....there was in fact some on her dish like the kitchen is throwing that stuff like mad confetti bombs where it just gets onto everything from sheer volume. So be sure to ask it not be on yours if that is not your jam, and really the kitchen here should make sure it is NOT ending up on dishes that shouldn't have it (seriously...French Toast??), especially when ordered as such. Our table service was 5 star....food was 4. Sadly the check in and out of here from the lack of hospitality is what killed it. This would hopefully be an easy fix/area to improve where it doesn't run people off from good food and otherwise good service. read more

Found a new favorite breakfast spot before work or for a post workout meal. This place is clean fast friendly and awesome. Service with a smile and food that is delicious fresh and healthy. If you're ever in the Northglenn area I suggest you make this a must visit place to have breakfast brunch or lunch. read more

The menu may be overwhelming upon first glance, but you'll find the variety . I don't stray often from a cup (or 3) of their Project Sunrise coffee (Colombia-grown, female-farmed!) and their Power Quinoa Breakfast bowl, but when I do, it's for the Avocado Toast and a fresh juice. We love First Watch, but this location disappoints. The wait was long which is fine when it's such good food but we noticed several tables that were not being bussed. Some tables went without being bussed for like 10-15 min. Finally got a seat, and it has now been 40 minutes and we haven't seen any of our food yet. My friend and I came to have breakfast this morning while my car was being serviced. This was my first time here, and our server was, Sherry, and she was beyond AMAZING!! Brought out the million dollar bacon, burnt to a crisp. Black. Picture included. Not one apology. Really acted irritated that we wanted something that didn't taste charred. Next, they bring out the kids meal. Another burnt bacon. And, trust me, I'm not the person whom likes limp bacon. It was just straight up burnt. A man came out, and asked,"is this okay for you". As if, we were being critical. Not the case. You can see the picture for yourself. You can also look at my dozens of other reviews, which are mainly five starts. Benedict's were cold. Egg whites runny. It's just odd seeings how many of these dishes they cook. Meh. Too many other good places around to waste my time of burnt, or undercooked food. OMG...I just had the best omlet of my life here. I am picky about omlets. Most breakfast places just have sad, overcooked, rubbery examples for omlets. OMLETS SHOULD NEVER BE BROWN! But this place? *Sigh* It was the veggie omlet of my dreams: perfectly carmalized mushrooms (that never happens), roasted zucchini and tomatoes, kale, onion, and goat cheese. The omlet itself was fluffy, tender, and NOT brown. Cooked perfectly. I love that you have the option of a salad with your omlet instead of potatoes. The thick cut whole grain toast with real butter and house made strawberry jam was perfect with the omlet. I also got the Kale Tonic for my morning pick up beverage, and that was delicious as well. I think this is gonna be my new favorite breakfast spot since Morning Collective closed, and I am gonna be thinking about that omlet for DAYS. Can't wait to come back. read more

I visited First Watch this morning for brunch with my husband. First off, the menu selections and the food itself were great. I had the Floridian french toast, and my husband had the works omelet. Both were delicious. The coffee and iced coffee were tasty too. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. Our waitress brought us carafe of water and two water glasses. One of the water glasses had orange juice pulp all over the inside. When our waitress returned to take our food order, I mentioned the glass. She apologized and said she'd bring another. She brought a second glass after a few minutes, and it too had orange juice pulp inside. I tried to get our waitress' attention again, but had no luck. When a food runner brought our entrees, I explained the situation, and he said he'd bring another. Our waitress returned several minutes later with third glass. This one had no orange juice pulp on the inside, but did have a sticky brown spot about the size of a nickel on the outside. I decided to just drink out of this glass, as it would take too long to get a fourth one, and I just wanted water. Additionally, I ordered a side of potatoes, and they did not arrive when my french toast did. I mentioned it to the food runner. I did not receive my potatoes until I was halfway done with my french toast. After eating about half of the potatoes, I realized that there was a short black hair in them (my hair color is not black). I didn't say anything because at that point we had already waited too long for water glasses and potatoes, and our waitress wasn't in sight. read more

Some things were really good, others very bad. We went on a Saturday with my daughter and grandkids. The kids meals were good and priced reasonably, they also took them first so the wait wasn't so long. The avocado toast was yummy & my daughter had a skillet that she enjoyed. Now for the bad, I chose a the benedict florentine, it arrived well after the other adult meals. When it arrived it was COLD, they were very good about replacing it and removed it from the check. Overall showed that they were concerned / wanted the experience to be good. Unfortunately even once served warm it had very little flavor. Even without one of the main dishes we ordered the meal was fairly expensive for average breakfast food. Nothing overly special, just slightly better than iHop. read more

We'll miss The Egg & I! Tried the new First Watch in Fort Collins on a Sunday morning - very crowded, which is usually a good sign. We were there early and had only a five minute wait. Staff was very freindly. Unfortunately, service was quite slow, bacon was burned beyond crisp - actually inedible. Waitress went to get some palatble bacon while I checked the fresh, seasoned potatoes - they were bland (unlike our favorite at Egg & I) while the over-easy egg was cooked just right. Waitress returned with bacon - one of four pieces was not overcooked. Coffee was poor. Others at the table had slightly better experiences with a pancake and an omelet, but no one was overjoyed. The bill came and was significantly higher than we paid at Egg & I (and we ate there several times a month). First Watch is not high on our list of breakfast places, amazed at some of the very positive reviews. We'll give it another chance in a few months, but there are better places for breakfast in town, but unfortunately no more Egg & I after March. read more

stopped in for a quick breakfast by myself, i am obsessed with this place!! i was seated right away at around 10:15am and my food came within 10 minutes. i got the truffle mushroom hash off of the fall menu & it was BOMB. only giving 4/5 stars because the poached eggs were cooked a little hard (not runny). i thought it was expensive for the portion size but it was so filling. my server maegan was so nice & attentive, i will be making this a regular stop! read more

Whatever. Just another typically overpriced, chain style, breakfast/brunch place. Somewhat reminiscent of Le peep restaurants when they were around back in the day. I guess it serves a purpose, but nothing really stood out with me about this place except that the coffee was delicious tasting. We have been wanting to try this place, but definitely would not endure any kind of a wait at pretty much any restaurant unless we had NO other option. It seems like this place for whatever reason, always has a wait. I can't explain that. To me that's like waiting 20 mins at Denny's. Who would do that? BLT benedict was good according to my wife. My belgian waffle was undercooked. Kids chocolate chip pancakes were normal size and what you would expect. Service was average or slightly lacking in attentiveness, but made up for it slightly in helpfulness.
