Service was great, but food was alright. My friend asked for light cream cheese and they loaded it. Also, we ordered matcha and it was very milky. The decor inside was cute and there were lots of seating!

This place is great. Such an awesome menu for all hours of the day. Coffee and ice cream to bookend your morning and evening. I was here with the local fire department and Caden was behind the counter running things solo like a champ. Support this place especially if you're a local.

I came here on a Sunday morning to study/work for a few hours with my partner. There were a few groups that filtered in and out but overall it wasn't too busy. We both got coffee/espresso bar drinks and really enjoyed them. They had a great selection of fun and traditional espresso bar options. When we got our drinks we asked for them in for here mugs as we were planning to drink them while in the restaurant. The employee said that they don't offer for here mugs because it's a health standard violation with an open kitchen. I don't know if this is the true reason they don't offer mugs, but drinking out of a disposable cup while I was there did dilute my experience from a Sustainability and ambiance perspective. It also smelled very strongly of meat while we were there, which would have probably smelled good to anyone who enjoys meat, but I don't eat meat so I did not enjoy that. Overall as a coffee shop it's a good experience with helpful employees, good coffee, and cute decor.

I was a little disappointed in this place. I ordered the Arista avocado toast and the peanut butter banana toast. The avocado was so smooth it seemed to be puréed like baby food, which I didn't like and wasn't expecting. It tasted so lemony and cold that I'm assuming they must add lots of lemon juice and put it in the fridge to make it last longer. It was also so plain (besides the lemon flavor), it definitely needed some seasoning. I was trying to find some salt and pepper to add to it but there wasn't any on the tables. The peanut butter banana toast was good though! It's a small cute cafe, and also has an ice cream counter. It was crowded when we arrived. There was no indoor seating available so, we went outside. They have a small front patio with a few tables. It was sunny and already starting to get hot. Their tables had no umbrellas which was disappointing. We went back inside and luckily found two bar stools to sit at. The staff was nice! I might return and try something else!

    Coffees, French toast and burrito!

Great coffee and service, but the food wasn't that good, it was very bland and tasteless.

I had the salty latte and the lox bagel. Both were a 10/10. Love that this place is walkable too.

Between the pastry case that looks like it belongs in a museum and croissants so perfectly golden brown they almost appear artificial, every item seems to have been crafted with an almost unreasonable amount of care. I ordered the breakfast croissant, a black coffee, and a blueberry muffin. Now, I firmly believe a bakery's coffee should be judged the same way a singer is judged performing acoustically: no fancy tricks, no backup dancers, nowhere to hide. If your black coffee is excellent, everything else is built on a strong foundation. Thankfully, La Belle passed that test with flying colors. The breakfast croissant somehow managed to be both delicately flaky and impossibly soft at the same time. Every bite left a trail of evidence on my shirt that I regret absolutely none of. I'm fairly certain the croissant received more quality control inspections than my first apartment. The blueberry muffin was equally impressive, striking that magical balance between homemade comfort and professional craftsmanship. But if I had to describe La Belle in a single word, it would be love. You do not create food this visually stunning and effortlessly delicious unless the people behind it are deeply passionate about what they do. Every pastry, sandwich, dessert, and loaf of bread seemed to radiate the kind of attention to detail normally associated with Swiss watchmakers, NASA engineers, and grandmothers preparing for a family gathering. I've had plenty of delicious meals before. What stood out here wasn't just the flavor - it was the unmistakable feeling that every item was made by people who genuinely care about their craft. The passion wasn't subtle. It practically walked out from behind the counter, introduced itself, and insisted I try another pastry. By the time I left, I had already started recommending La Belle to friends. Between finishing brunch this morning and writing this review tonight, I've probably talked about this bakery more than any reasonable person should. And honestly? I regret nothing. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back.

Surface is very slow The counter person actually forgot our lemonade and I had to go ask for it. The bread on the sandwich was very tough and only toasted on one side. The ratio of ham to bread and cheese was not good. All and all for the sandwich too. The quiche was pretty good. It gets a three. Did not take away any pastries but maybe you could check it out when you stop by

The bookstore and cafe was clean and cozy surrounded by books and more books with lots of cool trinkets to browse. I was a little disappointed though with their limited selection of bakery items and opted for just a cup of coffee and relaxed at a small table. Employee Josie took my pile of used books to get reviewed for possible future credit towards books I can buy later at their shop. Another building on the premises had lots of whimsical items such as socks, jewelry, pins, mugs, etc. I met Deidre that was friendly and helped me pick up out a cat shirt that was so adorable that I just had to buy. The prices are affordable and there's a parking lot plus street parking. The town of Lafayette was artsy and walkable to enjoy after going to the bookstore.
