Worst sandwich I have ever had in my whole life!! And I'm old, lol. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese. The menu said it was $7.50. my receipt was for $7.80. I asked the girl at the counter, "why the difference?" She tells me maybe it's a typo!;!?? And that it would be a question for management. I don't see any management here. Also, I wanted cheddar.. apparently that's 80 cents more than cream cheese that comes with the sandwich, not that the menu, nor the girl said anything about that! AND no mention of it, but there's a charge for using a credit card, as well. So my $7.50 sando was nearly $9. And so totally not worth it. I think the bacon was freeze-dried, or something horrible, and definitely overcooked. So it was salty, and too hard for my teeth to chew. Yes, I have my original teeth and there in perfect condition. The pre-constituted egg, or whatever that was, was heated a little, so small it wouldn't even fit on the bagel. Your only bagel options are everything or plain. To justify the most disgusting review I've ever written, I have to explain that I haven't eaten in over a day. I was starving. I found a new place nearby for breakfast, and I will never come here again. read more

The wait was so long that I cancelled and the only other person there was someone picking up a DoorDash order. Our first time trying Arista Deli was an awful experience. Picked this place for a work lunch on a Friday around 11:30. The young man working the counter was clearly having a rough day, and it became apparent that he was the only one working in the entire deli. I don't want to judge, because maybe someone called out that day, but this poor kid was not doing well. 30 minutes after placing our order, the smoke from our burnt food filled the small cafe. I knew asking him to remake it would take another half hour, and so would asking him for a refund. I really resisted leaving, because we'd already paid, but eventually we both agreed cutting our losses and writing off the $13 was the best case scenario. read more

Really had high hopes for this local spot. Interior presentation is perfect. Came in with my 9mo son on Father's Day. Waited 4 min for a kid to finally emerge from the back to make my cheese steak sandwich. Sat down, opened the container, and actually laughed out loud. I couldn't believe at how few ingredients were on this thing. No joke, maybe a 1/2 cup of slow-cooked beef and a couple of pepper strips. For a $14 sandwich, this ain't going to cut it, guys. I immediately went home and ate leftovers. The kid disappeared into the back. Another customer popped in and out of curiosity, I started a timer on my phone. I came here on a Sunday morning to study/work for a few hours with my partner. There were a few groups that filtered in and out but overall it wasn't too busy. We both got coffee/espresso bar drinks and really enjoyed them. They had a great selection of fun and traditional espresso bar options. When we got our drinks we asked for them in for here mugs as we were planning to drink them while in the restaurant. The employee said that they don't offer for here mugs because it's a health standard violation with an open kitchen. I don't know if this is the true reason they don't offer mugs, but drinking out of a disposable cup while I was there did dilute my experience from a Sustainability and ambiance perspective. It also smelled very strongly of meat while we were there, which would have probably smelled good to anyone who enjoys meat, but I don't eat meat so I did not enjoy that. The bread was completely soaked in oil, the brie was barely visible, and the ham appeared grey and smelled spoiled. I was a little disappointed in this place. I ordered the Arista avocado toast and the peanut butter banana toast. The avocado was so smooth it seemed to be puréed like baby food, which I didn't like and wasn't expecting. It tasted so lemony and cold that I'm assuming they must add lots of lemon juice and put it in the fridge to make it last longer. It was also so plain (besides the lemon flavor), it definitely needed some seasoning. I was trying to find some salt and pepper to add to it but there wasn't any on the tables. The peanut butter banana toast was good though! It's a small cute cafe, and also has an ice cream counter. It was crowded when we arrived. There was no indoor seating available so, we went outside. They have a small front patio with a few tables. It was sunny and already starting to get hot. Their tables had no umbrellas which was disappointing. As much as I try to support the small business owner, especially in my neighborhood, there is a reason I end up going to a chain coffee shop. The food here is inconsistent and mediocre at best. If you're vegan or vegetarian prepare to pay full price for a bagel without the spread and get a visible eye roll from the staff for even suggesting a small accommodation in pricing. Do better with your customer service (insert eye roll emoji). Joey is the most pleasant staff member I've interacted with the multiple times I've been here. Small but sick! I've studied here a number of times with friends and it's a quiet escape from all the training aircraft at the adjacent Rocky Mountain Metro airport. Food, hot and cold drinks, ice cream, and friendly staff. The menu rotates a bit but is all fairly priced and includes small and heftier portions. Vegetarian fair and a respectable variety considering the size of this business. Well worth stopping in while you walk around before a 1st Bank center concert. Grab a drink if you live nearby or just want to sit and read a book. They do have a few outdoor seats in addition to indoor seating. All my visits were during Covid so I'm not sure if the business has added additional seating since some restrictions have lessened. Reliable WiFi and a clean restroom. Can't really ask for much more in a business. You have other coffee shops in the area but I find myself repeatedly returning here without FOMO on the other local businesses. read more

The coffee is good but the food is awful. I had a lavender vanilla iced coffee which was delicious. I had a bagel with sausage, cream cheese and cheese. The sausage tasted like a hamburger, the cream cheese with the cheese was just plain disgusting. I couldn't finish it. Later that day I tried the turkey club which was cold and flavorless. The final straw was this morning when I gave them another chance and had biscuits and gravy which they put RAW onions on top with no warning!!! I'll only be returning for the coffee. In the past, I've had good luck at this place. However, today I ordered the French toast with berry compote. It was absolutely terrible! Save your money and do not order this item. It was a 3 inch slice of brioche bread. It seemed the bread was dipped quickly into an egg batter and cooked. One side was completely burnt. Of course, they put that side down! It really didn't matter because the bread wasn't allowed to soak up the egg mixture. It was basically a burnt piece of bread with cinnamon, whipped cream and fruit compote on top. Incredible gluten free breakfast sandwich (they have regular bagels too)! The cheddar cream cheese is a game changer and keeps the sandwich moist even with the gf bread.
