It's been years since I've been to this location but decided to give it another try. I had a juice which I was not a fan of because there was ice in it and it definitely did not taste "natural." This is a really different review. The food is amazing; however, the staff is incompetent. One of our favorite places for breakfast, but today our party was treated silently disrespectful. They simply did not want to sit us. We were a party of 21 and called ahead. We arrived and about 20 minutes later one of the hostesses began to set up our table. There were plenty of other tables available also. Suddenly, they separated our already set up table and began to sit parties of 2, again there were plenty of open tables. We asked for a manager and Sarah stated she was the manager. So talking to Sarah is like talking to a five year old child. She has absolutely no common sense, like talking to a recording. I asked for a manager and she stated there was no other manager. Wow, so we stood there with hungry kids as all possibilities of accommodating a large party were out the door. Yes, people that arrived after us were seated. Finally, after about 45 minutes, another parent asked for the manager, and Sarah swiftly walked to the back. About five minutes later, the real manager came out. The real manager had no sense of authority or leadership. The real manager finally says we can do a some booths and a table. We said perfect, suddenly they tell us that the booths and table are for another party, they simply didn't want to sit us. They began to sit another large party that arrived after us, sad. Again, the food here is great, but very disappointed with management. We walked out. I received a follow up call from the GM, Noella. I appreciate the attention given to this matter by the management. The GM recognized the issues and guaranteed improvement in this area. My family and I will return. This was my second time coming here and I was really disappointed in our meals. We had the Avocado Toast again and I ordered the egg sandwich. Along with a table pancake and my bf ordered the trifecta. Both our meals the avocado was brown and spoiled. It really effected the flavor of our meals. Mine came with a side of potatoes that were unseasoned and over cooked. Also, my brioche bun was stale. Our server was MIA and before we could address our concerns we were so hungry I tried to eat the sandwich but didn't have much luck. We also needed more coffee and we really felt unattended to. I come to this location often and they're always great. Great service, friendly and food comes out in a timely matter. Today I am so grateful to everyone here. I came in before work today, ordered my food. Kind of being in a rush, I figured I'd pay ahead of time so I go through my purse to look for my wallet. No where to be found! I left it at home, so embarrassed I asked them to cancel my order and walk out the restaurant. The server came to my car and told me it was okay and that they'd take care of my food for me. I am so embarrassed but so grateful! I called my husband to go to the restaurant after work to pay and tip the server. I visited here in mid November, and I'm under the impression that this place opened around late September - just to give some context. Upon first entering we were greeted with the sound inside the restaurant. This really is a small restaurant, definitely in comparison to other First Watch-es I've been to, but the acoustics of the walls and open floor plan made for a very loud atmosphere that, personally, I didn't even mind at first, but it absolutely ended up effecting things during our time there. When we were seated (rather quickly, I might add), a waiter came around and asked if we wanted coffee, then the arduous process of asking for our order began. The waiter knelt down to be at the height of the table, and was forced to ask "What" or "Sorry, one more time" rather repeatedly, because of the volume of the place. However, the waiter did not ever ask for drink orders, and because of all of the chaos that soon happened, it was quite a while before we were able to get anything in terms of drinks. While waiting for our food we were audience to a rather entertaining show. A separate other waiter came and informed us that there was a "mix-up with the table numbers," and confirmed our order with us. This was after yet another waitress came by with several items that weren't ours, and then proceeded to travel from table to table, unable to find the source of the order. This happened multiple times with multiple orders. Eventually our food arrived, and it was only slightly cold - likely just a bit wind blown from being thrown around from table to table. It should be noted that after all of this, the manager was kind enough to take the whole check off our hands, which is greatly appreciated, but the experience was still not favorable. Overall the experience was just sad. First Watch is a pretty common place so I'd been there before, and the food on this visit didn't have any new surprises in terms of quality or anything. read more

This is the best brunch I've ever had in Orlando on a Monday morning while wearing a striped shirt. The chikichanga was far superior to all other chikichangas I've had before. Ordered crispy bacon was served burned bacon. My scrambled eggs had a blackish color from the grill and had pieces of crunchy (too well done bits) of eggs. Toast was white so reordered toasted. By this time my appetite was gone and couldn't eat. My husband ordered a skillet breakfast with Italian sausage and did not taste one piece of meat. Potatoes were burned on top from broiler and undercooked on bottom. I will say the wait staff was excellent. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and this may be the best breakfast spot of all time. We came two days in a row because of how good it was. The farmhouse hash was out of this world. I had it both days. Basically its potatoes, bacon, avacado, cheese and eggs in a skillet..how can you go wrong? My girlfriend got the special protien pancakes day one and they were also fantastic. (I made her share!) Day 2 she got a farmhouse hash as well plus we decided to split a banana crunch pancake. Aside from the food being beyond amazing I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The first day there was a small wait but we sat at the big community table right away. The next day we sat right away. The place has a country kitchen type of feel. All of the food is so fresh. I can't give less than 1 star so this is what they get. I love cool breakfast places and was looking by forward to trying their food , but was sadly disappointed. After being seated it took at least 15 mins to be greeted by our server and simply get some water. 2 tables that were sat after us got greeted before us. The waitress was not at all friendly and only saw us twice. Once to take our order and once to bring us our food with the check. We waited about 40 min to get our food which might have been good if it wasn't so cold, and my wife's eggs were not over cooked. The food was delicious!!!! I came this morning and was definitely worth my while. The farmhouse modern decor was adorable and we were seated right away. I ordered the scramble house- the original. I'm still dreaming about it!! The potatoes were seasoned to perfection and the mix of the medium over easy eggs, tomatoes, onions, bacon, and avocado was delicious. The chocolate chip pancakes for the kids was huge so definitely can order one and split between two toddlers. The waitress was nice but really did not come around as much as she should have. Another waitress helped me twice so that's why the four stars. Also the floor of the bathroom was sticky.. for such a nice place that is unacceptable in my opinion. We waited over an hour for our table, only to find that they missed us on the list and had "texted" us nearly 40 min earlier (even though we were sitting right in front of the desk, and had told them that we were international and had no access to texting.) It was very unfortunate, the wait time, but I am not bothered by waiting. Might have been worse if I was starving, but I wasn't! As soon as they were made aware of their mistake, they seated us immediately. Food came very promptly after ordering. I had the figs and prosciutto toast (which was AMAZING.) Balsamic with eggs are gonna be my new thing. Loved it. My husband had the traditional breakfast and was a bit disappointed that it only came with one toast. Coffee was excellent. It looked like we were the only mistake while waiting. I like to add that service did seem to be excellent! This is my go-to place for a simple, hot breakfast with friends. I would guess this was my 30th visit this past Saturday and once again I was not disappointed. We always arrive just as they open, so seating is never a problem. Though I will say they sure keep the restaurant temperature set at Arctic Freeze, so bring a sweater ANY time of year. I tried the Greek Fetish omelet with fresh spinach, feta cheese and onions. Thankfully the red onions were served OUTSIDE the omelet, as they were QUITE strong smelling. I normally like red onions, but put these aside. My companion and I were able to substitute the roasted potatoes for fruit, something I never knew we could do. It's hit or miss with the fruit selection, as what you are served is entirely dependent on what is fresh this time of year. Super friendly server was efficient. Omelet was light, though could of used a bit more fresh spinach for my taste. Everything from start to finish was relaxing and delicious. Great place for families. The food here is fresh and well-prepared. I ordered the The Works omelet and a coffee. Omelet was simply delicious and the coffee hit the spot. My friend ordered Bacon and Cheddar pancakes, which was awesome with the warm syrup on top, giving it the nice sweet and savory combo. I like to try restaurants that are unavailable in my state and this place was conveniently located about 5-10 minutes from my hotel near Universal Studios. Definitely would recommend this place for its food, service, and cleanliness. I would go out of my way to eat here again when visiting Orlando. read more

This was the first time I've been to this first watch, but I was not impressed with the way they treated my family from the moment we opened the door. I was not greeted with a smile or anything. What was worse was the racist behavior by the host who pushed our wait time and made us wait longer and let those behind us be seated first. The treatment didn't stop there they also said they couldn't spot our name on the list but when I sneaked a look of the list our name was on top of the list. They could provide better service (and make more money) if they hired someone to bus tables during peek times. Very frustrating to sit when they're 20% of tables are waiting to be cleared. Unbelievably terrible experience. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast this morning. After waiting about 50 min for food, we noticed that several tables around us that sat down after us were getting their orders. The waitress had not come by since bringing our drinks so we had no updates about the wait. After finally getting her attention, we asked if she could check on our order. She went back into the kitchen and came out a few minutes later with our order - that was completely cold. It was so obvious it had been sitting out for a very long time. I took one bite of the stale French toast and knew I wouldn't be able to eat it. After politely letting the waitress know our concerns, she offered no explanation or apology and just said the kitchen could remake it. We declined and stated we would pay for our drinks and leave. I am 8 months pregnant and knew I couldn't wait again.... She literally said "that's ok your all set" and we left. I have never had an experience like this in my life and will be sure to never come back to this restaurant. The way this was handled was shocking and completely unacceptable. I realize things happen and do not demand perfection by any means, but no apology and no explanation is insulting and unprofessional in every way. read more

Just left First Watch for the very last time. I did eat there 3 times a week. I've had issues in the past with the kitchen sending out eggs that were cold, and under cooked poached eggs. I did talk to the area VP to see if they would take a complaint serious, but I guess I was wrong. They continue to send out food cold. A simple fix is a plate warmer but they ignore requests. Wrong orders, cold plates, under cooked eggs, jam everything on 1 plate, and the cooks send it out and the servers dont check it for quality. But they dont mind charging for a quality product they dont deliver. Shame on First Watch owners for not caring. Kekes here I come. read more

I am usually pretty satisfied/really like FW, I think they serve tasty food at a reasonable price, with chipper servers. However, I haven't been to an FW in a while, so maybe corporate-wide there have been a lot of changes that are popping up at the locations. Or maybe I just didn't like this location very much. This was my least favorite experience at an FW: the interior was jarring and weird (trying to have a chic country vibe or something weird); my server was absent other than to bring me water and coffee and then the check (the hostess was the friendliest person I came across - and the restaurant was pretty dead). And, silly pet peeve but a peeve nonetheless: I do NOT like when mid-level restaurants cheap out and bring condiments, etc. in open containers - don't bring me a tiny container with a smear of pink goo and have to explain that it's the jelly, rather than the little individual SEALED packets of Smucker's jams. Mom-and-pops I get it, because of overhead and the slim margin-of-profit; fancy restaurants, I get it because of décor and I assume there is a higher standard of fussy presentation and cleanliness. But FW, you already mark-up substantially for affordable items like potatoes, eggs and bread, so I just do NOT like this change (if it is indeed a change). Based on this FW experience alone, I wouldn't return, it was seriously underwhelming. read more
