I recently went to Orlando for a conference, and while we spent the majority of our time in a large resort and convention center, one of the vendors at the conference hosted a large social one evening at the Palm Tree Club where they rented out the space. There was plenty of food, drinks, dancing, and mingling. The Palm Tree Club staff were great, and the venue was well laid out and worked for this event very well. When we arrived around 7 PM on a weekday for our event, we first grabbed some tables and chairs, went up and ordered some drinks from the bar, and enjoyed some music until our hosts opened the buffet lines to the food including salads, appetizers, sides, and entrees. Some of our group sat on their nice, scenic patios while others were right in the heart of the restaurant near the music and bar. The food was great, and the service moved as quickly as they could with a large group gathered at the bar. There was never a lineup at the restrooms, and other than walking around the bar, it was easy to get around the restaurant during the event. The Palm Tree Club is considered to be an "elevated tropic escape in the heart of Orlando" where you can indulge in fresh flavors, vibrant cocktails, and a chic coastal atmosphere. They serve fresh seafood and vibrant desserts along with other food and drink options. They have world-class music in a large open area that can certainly turn into a party vibe. They host Girl Dinner Thursdays every Thursday from 5 PM to 10 PM, where for $25, you can get a choice of martini, prosecco, or wine paired with fries and a Caesar salad. They also host Happy Hours every weekday from 4 PM to 7 PM, where they serve half price global snacks and chef's featured selections including specials on all spirits plus select draft beers and wines. Let's start with the good. I'm from out of town and Booked a resy for Sunday PM and had lots of options for seating as they were not too busy. Server did his best to provide us with service but unfortunately they were severely understaffed and you could tell. He maybe touched the table twice (both times we had to call him over) the drinks were not good. I had an espresso martini that tasted purely of salted caramel syrup (I dont believe they had a true bartender so that may be why). I ordered oysters from reg menu and had to send back as they were dry and frozen to touch! As a Baltimorean, that's a no go. We ordered from magical dining menu....The apps were great! I recommend the wagyu dumplings and shrimp tempura. Chicken Katsu entree was very tasty however my rigatoni was undercooked and overly seasoned. The dessert....cheesecake was stiff and flavorless even with cherry topping. The sorbets were great! The overall decor and esthetics are what brought me to this location so after my experience I'd recommend visiting during happy hour as it's a super cute spot for drinks and pics. read more

Our drinks and food took way too long and it was not busy-there were many servers working. Also how are you out of Rosé on an early Friday night?! And what are you charging a "facility service charge" for??? both restrooms had no paper towels. Definitely the worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. Alright if you are wanting a super cute place to grab a drink at on I-drive this is a place to check out. Lavender Hugo Spritz - they ran out of Lavender but they had plenty of other options to choose from so I chose guava. It was really good. My friend ordered a dirty martini and she really enjoyed it. This place is so Miami! I loved the interior and found it very well done. It felt like an experience just to go inside and use the bathroom. I went early afternoon and imagine that at night time they probably play really cool music because I saw a dj booth. Out waiter was so nice and helpful. We were able to get our parking 100% validated. I ordered the Tropical Coconut Paradise which consisted of coconut rum, pineapple juice, coconut milk, lime juice, agave, and a coconut cream popsicle. It was so delicious and fun to drink. For food I got the margherita pizza which consisted of mozzarella, basil, and calabrian chili. I topped it off with pepper flakes for some extra flavor and spice. The Pointe is a cute spot to walk around and I definitely want to go back when I have more time to enjoy the whole area. read more

This spot is so aesthetically pleasing and the perfect place to grab some drinks and food with friends. We got there around 5 when they opened, and we were sat immediately. The service was great and our server, plus the server that was in training with them, were so kind and helpful. They had some specials going on for happy hour, and took the time to explain all the info to us. I started off with the salted caramel espresso martini, which was very good and just the right amount of sweet. They had sushi rolls on special for happy hour, so I ordered the vegan roll. It was a pretty standard vegetable roll, and I enjoyed it. The vegetables in it were pickled, which I thought was a nice touch and added some nice tangy flavor. If you dine here, make sure to ask the host stand to validate your parking if you use the garage! The Pointe is a nice area to dine and walk around, and I would definitely return here in the future. The staff is nice and its a good atmosphere. I just dont think the prices matches the amount of food and quality of what you get! As this restaurant is a tapas style. I had the hot karaage chicken boa buns which had a small kick to it, mostly due to the jalapeno. I also ordered the garlic fried rice. It was a bit too much garlic, it overpowered the whole thing. The pizza was ironically the best thing at the table, good and well balanced in flavor. Their cucumber salad was nice and refreshing. My grandma friend got a salad that was overpowered with cheese. My mom and grandma got sushi rolls that cost too much for it to look like a regular traditional roll. (Sorry, no picture was taken of the sushi). I had elevated hopes for this place but was partly disappointed. The music wasn't too loud, which made it easy to actually have a conversation, something I really appreciated. We came to celebrate a birthday, and the service stood out. We went to Palm Tree Club for my friends birthday dinner this past Friday, and the ambiance of the restaurant was spectacular. It felt like we were transported to Miami. There was a DJ, which made it hard to hear any conversations at the dinner table, but the food and drinks made up for this. I got the Firestone, which was essentially a watermelon margarita with tajin, and it was so delicious that I ordered another. The I-4 roll was very fresh and very filling, and I also took a bite of the tuna crispy rice, but I did not love the taste / texture of the crispy rice. Overall the service and ambiance was great. Ambience here is top notch! Their theming puts Disney to shame, palm trees cover the ceiling, beachy vibes all the way down to the luxuriously soft chairs, and the screens showing beaches and palm trees. We went on Monday night so it was pretty quiet and not busy but I can see it getting very busy on the weekends. Almost everything we ate and drank was delicious. Pricing on the menu is kind of all over the place. Entrees looked expensive but we all got appetizers and small plates and the prices weren't bad at all. Cocktails were all beautifully presented and tasted great too! If you're an espresso martini fiend like me, they have 5 different flavors to choose from here which I really appreciated. First time trying it out with the girls and we had such a good time! We got there around the time they opened on Friday (5pm) and even though we had a reservation, we didn't really need it. We learned that they had happy hour so we got a few espresso martinis and the tropical coconut paradise! Some of the sushi plates were also on the happy hour menu so we ordered from that for an easy snack. The server and server in training were super sweet and got our drink and food order in pretty quickly. The toasted marshmallow martini was a little on the sweeter side for me but it was enjoyable; definitely a dessert cocktail! Overall, the Palm Tree Club is a super fun spot and great for a dinner with a party vibe. The inside is decorated beautifully with low lighting, plants on the ceiling, and a DJ set-up! We were there on a Friday night, and the DJ was playing a lowkey set that really made dinner fun! I ordered a spicy margarita, burrata as my appetizer, and mezze rigatoni in vodka sauce as my main. Everything tasted good, they just definitely were expensive. However, you're definitely paying for the atmosphere and experience, so I thought it was worth it for a fun night out. I started off the night with a tropical paradise cocktail, which presentation and taste was a 10/10, a big pineapple cup? Yes please! Had to get a bunch of things to try such as the chicken yakatori, lobster garlic noodles, and A5 sushi. My favorite was the A5 sushi and the chicken yakatori, both delicious! I was not as much of a fan of the garlic noodles as the lobster was a bit too fishy for me and overall seemed a little bit salty. Nigiri with caviar, black truffle pizza, caviar martinis, basque cheesecake, and A5 Wagyu dumplings are some examples of how the menu gives a jetsetter vibe. Everything tastes good but nothing more. Nothing to crave, just here for the ambiance. Some days, you get live music being mixed by DJs in the dining room. Other days, you get house beats filling the room to match the visual landscape. I do like these opportunity of the magical dining as it gives you an appetizer, main train and dessert for $40. It was annoying being told that things were out of stock at the bar. It was Friday night at like 8 lol The oysters were good but kind of small. The salmon nigiri was awful; extremely fishy to the point where I wanted to spit it out but forced myself to chew and swallow it since I was in the company of others. A5 sushi roll was mushy and not worth ordering. The pizza is a safe option. I heard the short rib entree might be good but as for the rest, my dinner party was less than impressed. This is a trendy chic semi casual environment with dance vibes. The service was outstanding from the hostesses to my server Alexander to the bar ladies. I decided to reserve a table by myself even though this is a great place to socialize and enjoy with company. I really loved how they went out their way to make me feel comfortable by myself. They seated me in a corner with 1 chair on a high top table. The location was perfect since I sat across the bar yet still had the view of the outside. The food was delicious and the drinks were beautifully crafted each with it's unique serving glass representing each individual drink. Parking is plenty you can choose to valet or self park. If you do self parking the rates are clearly listed when you scan the qr code for parking. You do have to walk a little to get to the restaurant. First off, if you're grabbing drinks, ask for Larissa. She's easily one of the best bartenders in Orlando. Her Caribbean Smoked Old Fashioned is next-level -- bold, balanced, and full of character. The Espresso Martini was smooth and perfectly chilled. Larissa knows her craft and brings real energy to the bar experience. As for the food -- every dish delivered: * A5 Wagyu Beef with yuzu kosho and avocado: rich, tender, and full of flavor. * Shrimp Tempura and Shrimp Toast: crispy, light, and flavorful -- hard to stop eating. * A5 Wagyu Dumplings: savory, juicy, and perfectly pan-seared. * Pasta dishes like the Mezze Rigatoni, Tagliatelle Bolognese, and Gnocchi were all plated beautifully and tasted just as good as they looked. We were really looking forward to our visit. Our server got our wine order wrong and never gave us a last call had we been informed, we would have happily ordered another glass of wine. Instead, we were told the bartender "had to go home," which did not feel honest or transparent. On top of that, everything took forever. When we asked about getting another glass of wine while we were ordering dessert, the manager came over and was rude and completely unhelpful. For a place at this price point, the service and management were extremely disappointing. The atmosphere is beautiful, but the experience does not justify the cost. read more
