The thing I love about first watch is their menu and their people. Now saying this, the level differs from location to location. However, this place always does well with the second. They have a standard menu which I always seem to find something I like. However, they also have a selection of specials. Which include drink specials too! Which is rather nice. If I was giving a rating for the servers, I would give them a five out of five. They are always nice, accommodating and some even remember my usual order when I come in. However, the cooks are horribly inconsistent which has caused me to venture out of my favorite item on the menu. The Salmon Eggs Benedict. I have received the order with burnt potatoes, over poached eggs and even gelatinous hollandaise sauce. I rarely order it anymore for this reason. I understand it is a busy location and has some great menu items, so it can be challenging keeping a steady flow of food going out. This location of the chain falls drastically short of what I have come to expect from their other locations, even after giving it 4-5 chances. One thing you expect with a First Watch is consistency with the food. This location manages to botch that almost every time. Burnt omelet? About 1/2 the time. Missing item on your plate? The other 1/2 of the time. Something just tastes completely off compared to what it should taste like? Almost all the time. It's really bizarre, but it's the only first watch that I've been to that has an incredibly inconsistent kitchen. Service at this location is also incredibly inconsistent. You generally will have to wait a bizarrely long amount of time after being seated for someone to come to your table. Other locations - you they come over with coffee within 2-3 min. Service itself is either barely there or actually bad. Good luck getting drink refills. Everything you ask for seems like you are bothering them. I'm still loyal to first watch, but I will drive twice the distance to go to any other location. read more

My hubby's eggs were fried beyond over medium to the point the egg yolk was not runny. Maybe they make their eggs differently, I don't know. My meal didn't have sour cream and wasn't received until halfway through my omelette. Tried this place while on vacation today. The service was good, we were told we had a 30 minute wait and seated within 5 minutes. The place was jumping. We chose this spot because the food looked great and it was close to our timeshare. We were told that the wait for our group would be between 20-35 minutes long. At the 35-minute mark we were told that our table would be ready in 10-15 minutes. 15 minutes passed and we were frustrated about waiting outside in the muggy heat, so we came in to ask about our table again. We were told that our table would take another 10 to 15 minutes... Here's a tip to the management team, be honest about wait times. Had we known that the wait was an hour, we would have been patient if we had chosen to stay. Please be respectful of your patrons' time and don't lie to them about wait times. I have visited this location several times over the past year and while the food is delicious each time, thenservice has been hit and miss. Sadly this visit was a huge miss. When I walked in I waited while the hostess finished checking out the guest at the register and then she took me to a table and let me know my server would be right over. When he came over he asked if I would like a cup of coffee, I politely declined and instead of removing the cups like normal they were moved to the other side of the table along with others that were there and what I can only assume was an empty coffee pot. I knew what I wanted and weht ahead and ordered the Healthy Turkey Omelet and then sipped in water. After a little bit a food runner brought out my breakfast and I enjoyed my flavorful meal. When I was finished I waited for my server to return because he never checked on me to see if everything was good. Finally after 10 minutes if waiting in a relatively slow Restaurant, I stopped another server and asked if I could get a small box and the check. While she went to get them I noticed my server chatting with another employee while cleaning tables and then he went to cash out other guests. When i finally received my check from the other server I packed up my leftovers and headed to the cash register. My server looked at me and then walking away said the hostess would check me out in a moment. We were 23rd on the list when we joined the waitlist, we probably waited about 45 minutes since there were a few other large groups ahead of us. I got the million dollar bacon, holey donuts and steel cut oatmeal. My family ordered various other items. Everything was delicious, especially the potatoes. When I was reading the description I didn't notice there were pecans in the oatmeal when I ordered. I am allergic and was going to pick them out. Kristy was so wonderful and asked so sweetly if I would let her get me a new bowl of oatmeal despite being very busy. I am thankful for the great service and delicious food.
