Our area finally got a few of these restaurants and this one is located not far from where I work so I have stopped in on a few occasions with coworkers for lunch. We always start with the million dollar bacon, which is so delicious! I usually mix it up between ordering breakfast or lunch as breakfast is my favorite food. Regardless of what I order, the food is always fresh and delicious and service has always been great. My go to breakfast is usually the French Toast but have also had the Bacado, which I enjoyed as well. For lunch I've had the chicken salad melt and Monterey club, both very enjoyable as well. When I go with the family, my wife is happy that they offer Udi's gluten free bread. While a bit pricey, we've had consistently good food and service and will continue to stop in for breakfast and lunch. read more

I was a big fan of the Wynnewood location, and I was looking for a local brunch spot, as I was in the area on Saturday, so I was ecstatic to see that there was a First Watch location in the old Outback spot. The wait was about 20 minutes or less, and we were given a carafe of coffee, rather than individual mugs. What I love about this place is that the menu is fairly large and accommodates those who prefer GF/healthy options, and those who want to splurge on a rich breakfast. We ordered a ton of food - I ordered the sweet honey pecan salad, and I really wanted to try the Butternut Squash bisque, but they apparently ran out of the soup company-wide. Instead, I ordered their broccoli cheddar soup to start. J ordered the mixed berry toast to share, a side of million dollar bacon, biscuits and gravy, and the Parma hash. I will say that service, while friendly, was VERY slow. We waited quite some time for our food to come out, and everything came out all at once. The broccoli cheddar soup was the first to come out, and it was packed with a cheesy flavor reminiscent of a macaroni and cheese. I decided to share my soup, since it was quite rich. The sweet honey pecan salad was very flavorful, packed with honey dijon flavor, tender chicken, and bits of the million dollar bacon. The million dollar bacon is coated in black pepper and maple syrup - very tasty, but I prefer my bacon to be crispy. The mixed berry toast was DELICIOUS! Thick brioche toast topped with a very light lemon ricotta cream, mixed with crunch granola and super sweet berries - what a combination! I also dug in a bit into the biscuits and gravy (sort of wish the dish had a stronger sausage flavor), and sampled the flavorful Parma hash. I thought the potatoes for the Parma hash were just a little too large, but I appreciated the cheese and mushrooms that coated the potatoes. I read through other reviews that other diners experienced slow service as well, so I might be keen on going back to other locations, but overall, I really enjoy this chain. read more

This was such a great choice. The menu is extensive with healthy options. Also some not so healthy. Enough to suit all sorts of tastes. The first thing I noticed about this restaurant when we walked in was how pleasing the decor was. Very clean and farm house like. We were quickly seated by the hostess. The service was great with our waitress checking in frequently. I got the pork carnitas summer special. It was one of the most delicious breakfast bowls I have ever had. I loved that the entire menu is available throughout the day. I'm 100% sure I will be back to try out more of the menu. My friend got the French toast and really loved it also. My husband and I tried this place when it first opened and the food was lackluster to bad and the service was terrible. Yesterday we decided to give it one more chance, since it's been open a while and should be running smoothly now. It was actually worse. I ordered the vanilla chai latte pancakes (which did not taste like vanilla or chai) and the top one was a little crispy, while the two underneath it were burnt black. My husband's side of potatoes came out as a side of salad, his frittata came out as an omelette, and his side of kiwi had two fresh pieces on top and the rest of the bowl was brown, waterlogged kiwi that should have been thrown away. We finally got cups of water halfway through the meal. We'll never be back. This place is clearly aware they are churning out bad food and attempting to hide it and send it out anyway. read more

We went earlier this morning around 11 am. Took for ever to be seated. They were severely understaffed. The poor cashier/front desk/ hostess was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. The poor girl had to take payments no option to pay at the table, handle the wait list, clean tables and then more. The menu was very interesting with lots of healthy choices but did not hold a candle to any of the local breakfast places or diners. I had the Chickichanga which was not bad taste wise but wasn't hot. My wife had the quinoa pancakes that were a tad burnt. So when the opportunity arose we walked in and were pleasantly greeted and led to our table. The eggs were cold, no salt or pepper, and just a hodge podge of random things thrown on the bun. My fork was bent so it was difficult to eat. Small portion. Someone orderd a eggs benedict classic. It was dead cold and the potatoes were too peppery. They were burnt on one side and mushy on the other. Another person ordered the crab omelette with little to no crab to be found. All of the crab was in one end of the omelette. Salad or " mixed greens" was just that. Lettuce. Nothing else, no tomatoes no carrots, nothing but a light almost tastless dressing. My favorite thing I ordered was the "Morning Meditation" drink. Other than that everything else was iffy at best. Conclusion. You will leave that resturant hungry and dissapointed. This breakfast brunch chain is popping up all over and I looove it. I've been to 1 other locations in Lexington, Kentucky. They seem to be run the same way and the food is consistently cooked to perfection with plenty of selections. If you are the brunch person this spot is worth traveling out of the city to the burbs to find one. The service is quite minimal but the servers are really nice. You pay your tab on your way out, at the front. They have a variety of breakfast options and even açaí bowls, can't wait to go back to try it. Found this place when I was in King of Prussia at the DMV getting a license renewal. A little busy at first, but expected as it was a breakfast rush on a Saturday morning, nothing to horrible. I had the ham omelet with potatoes. I must say that this was the best omelet that I had in a good while. Wasn't greasy or too cheesy as most omelettes that i have gotten have been. I usually love First Watch and I've been to a few different locations. However this particular location was not a good experience. The hostess was un- provokingly rude to us but obviously cordial with other customers. I asked if outdoor seating was available and in response was asked "is it too cold?" along with being told it depends on the server. She then went outside to check and signaled us to approach the table. She appeared more friendly while seating other customers outside after us. We waited approximately 20 min or so for a server. We were initially the only diners outside but it seemed as if the server appeared after the second group was seated. The server acknowledged we were waiting for a while and apologized. I asked if it would be an issue for him if we were seated outside and offered to sit inside since the hostess didn't seem keen on seating us outside and also because it had taken a while for our order to be taken. He said we are ok. I am giving 2 stars for the server's acknowledgment of our wait and for the food, subtracting 3 for the poor experience. I am grateful I was with an understanding friend during this encounter as we reflected on our treatment compared to the treatment of our surrounding customers. I've brought a friend thus far but I decided I will not bring my parents to this location so they will not have a chance to experience this poor treatment. read more

I had a good idea of what to expect on my first visit and i was pleased to see that my expectations were met! I was very interested in the specialty drinks which i plan on trying next time. I liked that we were left a large glass bottle of water so we didn't have to keep asking and the same with a carafe of coffee. The menu had such a variety that it was difficult to choose but in the end i went with the French toast with a side of bacon. I felt that the portion size and quality reflected the cost and that it was reasonable. The French toast was delicious especially with the mixed berry compote. When the server dropped it off, it wasn't too warm but once the compote was spread onto it with the warm syrup, i did not care. The slices were of a good size and they used a generous amount of butter, which i love. The bacon was thick cut and fried perfectly, not limp or dark. I plan on returning soon, i loved getting a more special brunch experience without a hefty price tag or crazy long wait. read more

Some of the food tries a little too hard to be healthy, but there are lots of tasty choices. My favorite is the Works omelet, full of veggies and meats, served with thick sliced seeded toast and salad greens. I especially like that there are several substitutions for the greens, starting with breakfast potatoes. I've yet to try the flight of thick cut bacon, but it looks so tempting! First Watch serves nice strong drip coffee in a thermos pot, so when you're ready for a refill, that second cup is at your fingertips. But food is only part of the equation; the servers are uniformly warm and pleasant, even when the restaurant is busy (there is a gal with short dark hair who is especially pleasant.) I often read the news or a book on my tablet, and I've never been urged to hurry up and clear out, but I do pay attention, and I don't linger if guests are waiting for tables. Pro tip; I find their salad greens to be too lightly dressed for my taste. Consider asking for extra dressing on the side when you order. read more
