The very small $7 sausage links

Beware the Sausage Links!!! Nudy's charges $7.00 for two small sausages when ordered al la carte. However the same small sausage links are $3.99 when added to a breakfast entree. This is a clear $3 money grab for the same item when ordered as a side breakfast meat. This outrageous, egregious and preposterous! Been a customer for over 20 years. Nudy's is a rip.

This is a nice Nudy's location in Devon/Strafford close to the Strafford train station and Whole Foods. It's located in a quiant old house. They have seating indoors and outside. The inside space is pretty small, so it's great they have the outdoors as well. They have a small parking lot and larger ones nearby. The breakfast foods are solid and so filling. I've loved Nudy's for years and am happy they are still just as good into the 2020s. The staff is really nice and helpful. They also play fun music near the kitchen. This is probably my favorite Nudy's location. Check it out!

Came here with some coworkers before our work day. I got the crab omelette that came with hash browns and a cold brew. My crab omelette was okay. Not that much meat and the whole omelette needed seasoning. I did like the hash browns since they were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They also needed seasoning. We sat outside on the patio since it was nice outside! Overall everyone seemed to enjoy their meals

Excellent place for a casual brunch. The menu options are huge and the outside seating was great on a cloudy summer day. Sadly I ordered a dish with pita which they were out of so I ate my food as a wrap. It was still tasty and came with chips. I wish they had other side options that came with my meal but I had a wonderful experience overall. The food was served hot and fresh. Our server was also very accommodating for food allergies and was quick to help us. I'd come back if I'm in the area!

Great place to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. It was very busy and the servers seemed slightly overwhelmed. Service seemed to be disorganized. We had two or three servers and they were constantly overlapping. I had ordered a side of bacon and never received it. I didn't say anything because I was afraid it was going to disrupt their service even more. I'm always weary of ordering omelettes and I was reminded why. Eggs are so delicate and easy to ruin. As you can see from the photo, eggs should never be brown. I knew immediately that it had been overcooked and now rubber.

We came in for Sunday Brunch. While the place was busy, we were seated quickly and got a very friendly waiter. My girlfriend ordered the French Toast, which looked good but was described as bland by her. I got Huevos rancheros, which was a real letdown - it looked like a salad on a plate, and was a bit mushy (also missed a tortilla). Instead of potatoes on the side, it came with hash browns that were worked in, which did it no favors. We've heard good things about this place, and maybe we didn't order the right things. Again, service and speed was excellent, but the food was sadly not up to par.

After a couple 'okay' experiences, I recently went back to Triple Crown with my wife for a Saturday…read moreevening dinner and was genuinely impressed by the improvement in service--attention, speed, and energy. From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us with a smile, another welcomed us in by holding the door, and a third (a waiter) said good evening and welcome! These may seem like insignificant gestures but when going out to eat, no matter the restaurant (chick fil a knows haha), the treatment of patrons is important. Especially with the costs of dining out. Our waiter, Aladdin, was exceptional in every sense--energetic, kind, light hearted, and treated my wife and I with the upmost care. This should be the norm everywhere but sadly it is not. Dead Fearless management, take care of Aladdin--he is a national (Triple Crown) treasure! Food was delicious--highly recommend the Delmonico and potato puree! Can't go wrong with the apps and salads of course. We'll be back!

It was brutally loud as well; couldn't hear anything people were saying at the table. First, the total bill was about $500, and no one even ordered cocktails. That's a lot of money for what you get. I ordered the salmon, and it was microscopic, barely warm, and nothing special. It was literally a tiny piece of fish with almost nothing else on the plate. It looked more like a prison meal than something from an expensive restaurant. I've had salmon at many other restaurants where it arrived hot, was a generous portion, and was actually enjoyable. This was a real disappointment. The service was just okay. The staff clearing the plates seemed to have no idea what they were doing and actually asked us to pass our plates to them. Patrons shouldn't have to help clear the table, especially at a restaurant charging these prices. The servers constantly came by asking how everything was, but I wasn't interested in spending my wife's birthday complaining or sending food back. I shouldn't have to say, "My salmon isn't hot--please take it back." We also asked for a doggy bag, and they left items out of it. We reminded them three separate times, but they didn't seem to be listening. Someone else at the table complained that the Caesar salad tasted off. I could go on, but that's enough. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially given the prices. I would not go back. Last thing. They have bread on the menu for $12. it is nothing more than about five tiny croissant rolls - nothing special. They don't offer free bread. Talk about taking advantage of patrons.

And the ambiance is really nice -- fancy farm to table with plush seating and pillows. If you're going to get an appetizer, I would highly recommend getting the snack board to share (unfortunately this was eaten before I got to take photos). It includes delicious biscuits paired with the most perfect sausage gravy, thick cut bacon, fruit, croissant, warm donut holes, deviled eggs, and dips/jams. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. The gravy is jaw-dropping and perfect with the texture of the biscuit -- trust me, you have to try it!!! The donut holes are fluffy and soft fritters. I also really loved the deviled eggs' flavor. For my entree, I got the breakfast pot pie (in the photo) which had the same incredible gravy and biscuit crust as the appetizer, topped with a crispy fried egg. My sister had the Challah French Toast (peach compote) which was also incredible -- perfect without being too sweet. Both were huge portions. Service was also excellent -- our waitress very kindly brought out our toddler nieces' kids' meals first along with our appetizers. She even brought out a little sorbet on the house for my sister's birthday (which also was very very good!)

There was…read morea lot of snark and attitude detected, and we were a big party, which means she's automaticaly raking in 20% on a substantial bill. And we all got alcoholic drinks, and many with desserts. The Smoked Old Fahioned was very not good. It smelled nice, but tasted like cherry cough syrup. It was like smoked cherry cordial with a splash of well-shelf bourbon. It's probably not literally well-shelf... just an emphasis on how unpalatable this was and therefore expensive for what it is. I didnt pay $15+ for some cherry cordial. Waitress vocalized distaste when we wanted to spit checks - which we told her before placing orders. Then she gave sh** about seating arrangements; since we wanted to split checks she ordered us to sit by how checks are being split. That's a new one... She said she would have to write separate checks... an obvuous approach... I endorse that plan smh. Wouldn't that be easier when it comes to "splitting checks" when all is said and done? To treat us as separate tables but still tack on 20% per check? As we are wrapping up dinner and everyone else was looking over dessert, I told her she could bring mine now since I have a 45 min drive back to CC and I have perishables. People are now eating their dessert and she's still fussing aroundat her kiosk. I eventually approach her and asked for mine again. She got super frustrated and unprofessional, and said us wanting to split bills is (exact words) "tumultuous." Does she even know what that word means? "I thought you wrote separate checks?" But she's trying to figure out how to split like $8 rolls among like 12 people. She was like, "Then who is paying for the rolls?" That is her job to find out. I am a guest, not the host of the party. I only know three other people there. She walks to the table and says (again..exact words), "Who's paying for the rolls?" As if we are planning on dining and dashing with basic dinner rolls. Why? Because we are a table of minorities? Had we been a table of all white, would she have asked HOW we would like to have it split? I was in the dine-in food service industry for several years. I had thought splitting checks was a very common practice, and I absolutely did NOT ask patrons to sit in specific order. White Dog in UC didn't do that either (or anywhere else). Perhaps White Castle is more within her playing field. Some courses in sensitivity training may aid in her professional development. And they wanted to charge like $4 per person since someone baked cupcakes.... reminder that most people also ordered dessert on top of all this. They can go pound the sand.

Our server Angela greeted us right away. She introduced herself and asked if we were celebrating. She was very sweet and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We then had Casoncelli a veal stuffed pasta with golden raisins, amaretti and parmigiana as well as Siscillian Meatballs (3) served in escarole broda, crumble pine nuts and parmigiana. We had no room but still got dessert! The pistachio cream cake with cherry jubilee and a beautiful flor de latte ! we also had the espresso ice cream cake with toffee and salted caramel. I can not put into words how delicious and beautiful everything was! it was art on a plate. We wanted to compliment the chef and he came out to thank us!!! What a talented and nice man. Thank you Angela for superb service and making our experience so memorable and to Jesse for the absolutely incredible food and his down to earth spirit! We highly recommend and will come back!!! The experience was a little bizarre. Their website says "Rosalie doesn't allow reservations for 1,…read moreplease just walk in". I walked in, as directed, just for a very flustered man at the front of the house to fumble with his system for a good 10 mins. Telling me there was a table, then taking it back and saying there were no tables for the night, then saying nevermind and making me a reservation for two (which I would have done if not discouraged by the website) for half an hour later. At this point I already had a very bad taste in my mouth from the level of chaos. I waited outside for my table. When I got to my table I will say my server was very nice until a strange comment came up at dessert. Once I ordered my dessert, he left and came back with two spoons, saying "I brought two spoons for us." It almost seemed implied he'd join me. I dine a lot alone, voluntarily. Most of the time it's after work and I really don't want, let alone need, company. His comment gave me anxiety as I wondered how I would politely tell this man I wanted to dine alone. When he brought the dessert he did not join me but made sure to say "I'll be back for a few bites." Maybe it was a joke but to me it was very odd and made me pretty uncomfortable. I gave three stars just for the Cacio e Pepe. It was very good. I did (without giving tmi) have a very sick stomach after the meal and the morning after so I wouldn't return just incase that was the cause. Like a said... a weird experience.
